Bei einer solchen Anordnung kann als Setzgerätantrieb 2 eine normale Bohrmaschine verwendet werden. Bei Verwendung eines Schrauberantriebes ist in der Regel eine Einrastkupplung in dem Setzgerätantrieb 2 integriert, wobei nur bei eingerasteter Einrastkupplung in dem Setzgerätantrieb 2 die Schrauberwelle 3 eine Drehbewegung ausführt. Bei der Ausführung nach Fig. 1 wirkt die Schraubenfeder 59 auf die eventuell in dem Setzgerätantrieb 2 angeordnete Einrastkupplung, wobei die Kraft der Feder 49 größer ist als die in der im Setzgerätantrieb 2 integrierten Einrastkupplung vorgesehene Feder, so daß also die im Setzgerätantrieb 2 integrierte Einrastkupplung praktisch ständig geschlossen ist. Die Schrauberwelle 3 führt dadurch eine ständige Drehbewegung durch, sobald der Setzgerätantrieb 2 in Betrieb gesetzt wird. Im Rahmen der Erfindung wäre es selbstverständlich auch möglich, daß das Antriebsrad 20 mit parallel zur Drehachse 23 der Schrauberwelle 3 ausgerichteter Achse montiert wäre, wobei dann eine entsprechende Verzahnung zum Seitenbereich des Magaziniersteifens 18 hin vorzusehen wäre. Bei einer solchen Ausgestaltung wäre es auch denkbar, ein Reibrad einzusetzen, wobei die Übertragung der Drehbewegung wiederum über ein an der Schrauberwelle 3 anliegendes Reibrad möglich wäre, so daß wieder die notwendige Reigungskupplung geschaffen wäre. Eine solche Ausgestaltung bedingt aber eine wesentlich größere konstruktive Ausbildung des Setzgerätes 1 und würde sich daher gerade bei schwer zugänglichen Stellen negativ auswirken.In this context, it would also be conceivable to design the drive wheel 10 as a friction wheel, it also being possible to transmit the force from the crown wheel 24 via a mutual contact surface. Es bleibt somit auch das Kronenrad 24 stehen, wobei sich infolge der hier vorgsehenen Reibungskupplung die Schrauberwelle 3 weiterbewegen kann. Es erfolgt nun der Vorschub durch Niederdrücken der Schrauberwelle 3. Der die Schraubnuß aufnehmende freie Endteil 41 der Schrauberwelle 3 bewegt sich in Richtung zum Schraubenkopf 6 einer Schraube 7. Dadurch, daß dieser Endteil 41 in der Schrauberwelle 3 frei drehbar ist und erst beim Eindrücken in die Schrauberwelle 3 direkt mit dem Setzgerätantrieb gekuppelt wird, ist ein schonendes Ansetzen am Schraubenkopf 6 möglich. Beim weiteren Niederdrücken der Schrauberwelle 3 wird die Schraube 7 durch den Magazinierstreifen 18 hindurchgedrückt, wobei auch die Schrauberwelle 3 durch den Magazinierstreifen 18 nach unten geführt wird bis zur Beendigung des Schraubvorganges. Beim Weiterbewegen der Schrauberwelle 3 nach unten hin wird ein Ausschwenken des Hebels 29 (siehe Fig. 6) bewirkt, so daß die Sperrstellung des Hebels 29 bzw. des Sperrteils 30 aufgehoben wird. Da jedoch zu diesem Zeitpunkt die Schrauberwelle 3 den Magazinierstreifen 18 in seiner Lage festhält, wird zu diesem Zeitpunkt die Vorschubsperre nicht benötigt. Im Rahmen der Erfindung sind selbstverständlich verschiedene konstruktive Ausführungsvarianten möglich, und zwar sowohl beim Antrieb als auch bei der Vorschubsperre für den Magazinierstreifen. Wesentlich und wichtig ist jedoch, daß der Vorschubantrieb des Magazinierstreifens vom Drehantrieb der Schrauberwelle her abgeleitet wird, wobei zur Unterbrechung dieses Drehantreibes eine Reibungskupplung eingesetzt ist. Außerdem ist es wichtig, eine entsprechende Vorschubsperre vorzusehen, die nach jedem Setzvorgang in einfacher Weise lösbar und wieder einsetzbar ist.Within the scope of the invention, of course, various design variants are possible, both for the drive and for the feed lock for the magazine strip. Claims (20)

1. A device for feeding fasteners held in a magazine strip (18) to an application tool (1), it being possible to move the magazine strip (18) further before or after each application procedure, and a feed pawl being provided which engages in the feed channel (19) for the magazine strip (18) and which is releasable after each application procedure and can be applied again, and a driving wheel (20) being provided which engages in the feed channel (19) for the magazine strip (18) and which can be operatively connected to the latter, characterized in that the driving wheel (20) can be connected to the rotary drive of the application tool either directly or indirectly by way of a friction clutch (24, 25, 26) arranged in a screwer shaft (3), and a feed pawl which is constructed as a pivotably mounted lever (29) held resiliently in the locking position and which as a stop for engagement dogs (31) projecting on the magazine strip engages in the feed channel (19) for the magazine strip (18) and is caused to swing out by the screwer shaft (3).

A device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the feed channel (19), the driving wheel (20) and the friction clutch are arranged in a housing (17) which guides the screwer shaft (3) and which is held rotationally rigidly with respect to the application tool drive (2) and can be disengaged therefrom.
3. A device according to Claim 2, characterized in that the screwer shaft (3) is connected to an application tool drive (2) by way of an engagement coupling (4).
4. A device according to Claim 2, characterized in that the screwer shaft (3) is connected directly to the application tool drive (2), an engagement coupling being integrated in the application tool drive (2).
5. A device according to Claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the driving wheel (20) is constructed as a gearwheel and is connected to the screwer shaft (3) by way of a mitre gear with the interposition of a friction clutch,
6. A device according to Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the axis (22) of the driving wheel (20) is orientated at right angles to the axis (23) with the screwer shaft (3).
7. A device according to Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the driving wheel (20) meshes with a crown gear (24) mounted on the screwer shaft (3).
8. A device according to Claims 1, 5 and 7, characterized in that the crown gear (24) is arranged in a sliding seat on the screwer shaft (3), and the crown gear (24) and the screwer shaft (3) are connected in a frictionlocking manner.
9. A device according to Claim 8, characterized in that the through bore of the crown gear (24) has one or more axially parallel grooves (25) into which are inserted leaf springs (26) whose curved portions are resiliently supported on the surface of the screwer shaft (3).
10. A device according to Claims 7 to 9, characterized in that the crown gear (24) is held in the housing (17) so as to be prevented from moving in the axial direction.
11. A device according to Claims 1 to 10, characterized in that the driving wheel (20) is mounted on the inner wall of the housing (17) and with its area remote from the crown gear (24) engages in the feed channel (19) of the magazine strip (18).
12. A device according to Claims 1 and 11, characterized in that the driving wheel (20) and the crown gear (24) are constructed as gearwheels and can be operatively connected to a continuous toothing (28) formed on the edge area of the magazine strip (18).
13. A device according to Claims 1 and 11, characterized in that the driving wheel (20) and the crown gear (24) are constructed as friction wheels which abut against each other with a suitable contact pressure.
14. A device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the lever (29) is provided at its end remote from the pivot axis with an extension engaging in the region of movement of the screwer shaft (3).
15. A device according to Claims 1 and 14, characterized in that the feed pawl is constructed as a locking member (30) which is pivotably and laterally deflectable on the pivotably mounted lever (29) held resiliently in the locking position.

A device according to Claims 1, 14 and 15, characterized in that a spring member, which is arranged in a longitudinal recess (34) on the lever (29) and the free end of which comprises an angled freely projecting arm (35) forming the feed stop for the magazine strip (18), is provided as the locking member (30).
17. A device according to Claims 15 and 16, characterized in that the locking member (30) is held resiliently deflectably both in the plane of the lever (29) and transversely to the said plane.
18. A device according to Claims 1 and 14, characterized in that the lever (29) is spring-loaded in the direction of the feed pawl setting by a leaf spring (38) secured to the exterior wall of the housing (17) and covering the lever (29) with its free end.

A device according to Claims 1, 14 and 18, characterized in that the lever (29) is displaceable in the direction of its pivot axis (32) against the frictional force of the pressing leaf spring (38), a lateral limit (74) of the extension (33) provided at the free end of the lever (29) being orientated at an acute angle to the plane of displacement of the lever (29) for the forced displacement of the lever (29) during the action of the screwer shaft (3) upon the said extension (33) and cooperating with a fixed housing limit (71).

A device according to Claim 19, characterized in that in the region of the feed channel (19) for the magazine strip (18) for acting upon the engagement dogs (31) of the magazine strip the lever (29) comprises a locking member (70) which is integral with the magazine strip (18) and is constructed as an engagement stud and which comprises an inclined limit (77) on the side opposite the engagement stop (72).
