Abstract

A sound transducer, particularly an earphone, is buttoned into a sound opening of an in-the-ear hearing aid housing by means of an elastic hose part seated on a sound connector of the sound transducer. The elastic hose part is slightly pre-stressed in longitudinal direction and the sound transducer is provided with an elastic abutment that elastically compensates the prestress.

Description

The invention relates to a holder for a sound transducer according to the preamble of patent claim 1.

In some mounts, the sound transducer is glued to the sound opening in the housing of the hearing aid with its sound nozzle. This can lead to unwanted acoustic feedback. The adhesive can also partially glue the sound opening so that the sound can no longer escape unhindered.

CH-PS 539 375, CH-PS 648 172, WO-OS 85/03 185, US-PS 40 69 400 und DE-AS 12 22 116). However, elastic hose holders are already known (e.g. CH-PS 539 375, CH-PS 648 172, WO-OS 85/03 185, US-PS 40 69 400 and DE-AS 12 22 116). CH-PS 539 375 describes e.g. already a holder of the type mentioned, in which a handset or a microphone of a hearing aid as a sound transducer are used on the one hand by means of a prestressed (sub-claim 4) elastic hose part in the associated sound conductor and on the other hand the respective sound transducer at least partially in a pocket with elastic Support studs are seated. However, the pressure can unfortunately lead to undesired displacements of the sound transducer to be held in the hearing device housing, which can only be countered by additionally inserting the sound transducer in question into a housing compartment which limits the movement.

The object of the present invention is to provide a holder which does not have this disadvantage.

The object is achieved by the characterizing features of claim 1.

According to the invention, the sound transducer is now inserted between the sound opening and the housing in a fully elastic manner. So it sits firmly (not irreversibly displaceable) and therefore elastic in the holder. An accessible housing compartment that is bulky is no longer necessary. The inner wall of the hearing aid housing can be used directly as a supporting wall.

Further advantages and details of the invention emerge from the following description of an exemplary embodiment using a figure and in conjunction with the further subclaims.

The figure shows an in-the-ear hearing aid module with a receiver holder according to the invention, partly in longitudinal section.

In the figure, the housing 1 of the in-the-ear hearing aid module comprises, at its proximal end 2, a sound discharge opening 3 in the form of a socket. A proximally open annular groove 4 is incorporated into the sound discharge opening 3.

The annular side surface 5 of the annular groove 4 is an abutment for an annular bead 6 of an elastic hose part 7 (e.g. made of high-temperature cross-linking rubber).

The elastic tube part 7 sits with the end facing away from the bead 6 on the sound outlet connector 8 of a receiver 9 and is glued to the receiver 9 at the end 10 on the listener side by means of adhesive 11 (for example by means of a silicone adhesive).

Half of the earphone 9 is also still in a pocket 12 made of elastic plastic, e.g. high-temperature cross-linking rubber, embedded.

The assembly and subsequent mounting of the receiver 9 is as follows:

The elastic hose part 7 is part of a hose during assembly, which is indicated by dashed lines in the figure at 13. The earphone 9 is threaded in the direction of arrow 14 into the sound dissipation opening 3 of the housing of the hearing aid module by means of the hose 13 drawn and glued over the sound outlet connection 8. The receiver can now be pressed into the position shown in the figure, so that the bead 6 of the hose 13 snaps behind the annular side surface 5 of the annular groove 4.

Then the hose 13 is stretched a little in the direction of arrow 15, so that the bead 6 is pulled out of the sound dissipation opening 3.

In this position, the pulled-out end of the tube 13 is then cut off directly in front of the bead (indicated by the sectional plane S-S in the figure).

All that remains now is the elastic hose part 7, which contracts again after the stretching has stopped. In this case, the earpiece 9 is held elastically in the sound dissipation opening 3 by the bead 6 of the elastic tube part 7 in cooperation with the elastic pocket 11, which rests resiliently at points 16 on the inner wall 17 of the housing of the hearing aid module.

Akustische Rückkopplungen werden vermieden. Die Schallableitungsöffnung ist immer offen.Acoustic feedback is avoided. The sound discharge opening is always open.

The hearing aid microphone (not shown) can be held in a similar manner if required.
