Definitions
- the present invention relates to a semi-submersible boat of reduced dimensions for naval combat, comprising a hull of which a first waterproof part is unsinkable and optionally contains a mechanism for controlling the boat of which a second part is submersible.
- the subject of the present invention is a scale model of a real boat which is capable of floating on water (for example of a lake, a swimming pool, a basin or a bathtub) and which presents characters allowing to participate in a real fight.
- Document GB-A-559254 discloses a boat usable as a toy, which carries a target capable of pivoting about an axis, when it is hit by a missile, the pivoting of this target allowing the water entering the hull of the boat through an opening in this hull, below the waterline, so as to at least partially sink the boat.
- the latter can be fitted with a motor housed in a sealed compartment.
- Document DE-C-293 252 also discloses a toy in the form of a boat comprising two parts forming floating bodies, when they are fixed to one another. These parts can be separated from each other when a disk serving as a target is hit by a projectile such as a torpedo. When the two parts of the boat are thus separated, it can penetrate water, which causes their immersion.
- Document GB-A-648636 also discloses a boat-shaped toy, the hull of which is provided with one or more targets connected, by a catapult system, to the deck of the boat and to turrets, chimneys and masts carried by this bridge. When a projectile strikes a target, the bridge or one of the elements it carries is projected upwards.
- the boats usable as toys described in documents D1 to D3 require the use of projectiles such as missiles, torpedoes, shells, etc.
- the present invention relates to semi-submersible boats usable as toys for a naval combat game, during which the boats can be put out of action by collision with each other, without requiring the use of projectiles.
- the invention is based on the idea of using on board a boat balloons or boxes with a perforable wall, acting as easily replaceable floats when they have been pierced.
- the boat of the type indicated in the first paragraph of this specification is essentially characterized in that, in the submersible part of its hull, is housed at least one balloon or box serving as a float, having a perforable wall and inflated with a gas so as to ensure the buoyancy of the boat, this boat also carrying a device making it possible to perforate the above-mentioned wall of the balloon or box of a similar opposing boat so as to deteriorate the buoyancy of this opposing boat .
- the perforation device consists of a spur directed towards the outside of the boat, this spur being arranged so as to be able to directly perforate the perforable wall of the balloon or box of a opposing boat through at least one window acting as a target in the hull of this opposing boat.
- the perforation device consists of a spur directed towards the interior of the boat and carried by a support linked to its hull, but movable relative to the latter, under the effect of a thrust exerted by an opposing boat.
- the spur can be carried either by a deformable membrane carried by the shell of the boat, either by a lever articulated to this hull, this membrane or this lever acting as a target.
- FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a boat according to the invention
- - Figure 2 is a section along the line II-II of Figure 1
- - Figure 3 is a partial section of the hull of a boat showing an embodiment of a target
- FIG. 4 is a section similar to that of FIG. 3 showing a second embodiment of a target
- - Figures 5 and 6 show respectively in perspective and in cross section a third embodiment of a target hinged to the hull of a boat.
- the boat 1 represented in FIG. 1 comprises a hull 2 and a superstructure 3.
- This superstructure 3 is removable and is fixed by interlocking to the hull 2 which has a keel 4.
- the water line of boat 1 is indicated by a dashed line 5.
- a partition 6 shown in broken lines in Figure 1 and in solid lines in Figure 2 divides the boat into two parts or compartments, namely a front compartment 7 and a rear compartment 8 (see Figure 2).
- the front compartment 7 is partially submersible, while the rear compartment 8 is unsinkable and is separated, in a sealed manner, from the front compartment 7, this compartment 8 containing electronic devices which determine, according to well known methods, the developments of the boat 1 .
- the boat In its bow 9 and below or above or even at the waterline 5, the boat is equipped with an attack weapon constituted by a pointed spur 10, while on port and / or starboard , this boat 1 has a window 11 which opens into the front compartment 7 and which can be furnished with a grid 12.
- the spur 10 may have another shape, for example that of a rod more or less sharp.
- At least one balloon or box 13 inflated with a gas such as air and acting as a float.
- a gas such as air and acting as a float.
- the changes in boat 1 on a body of water are remotely controlled, in a manner known per se, by radio waves emitted from a station outside the boat and received by a receiver 14 housed in the rear part or compartment waterproof and unsinkable 8 of the boat.
- This receiver 14 controls the propeller and the rudder of boat 1.
- the compartment 7 comprises two floats 13 and when, for example, the float 13 located behind a window 11 provided on the port side of the boat is perforated by the pointed spur 10 of an opposing boat, the buoyancy of the boat is partially affected and this boat is slightly on the port side. At this time, it is up to the attacking boat to continue its attacks, so as to perforate the float 13 located behind the window 11 provided on the starboard side. When the latter float 13 is punctured, the attacked boat sinks into the water through its bow.
- a boat partially hit on port or starboard side is still able to attack an opposing boat, despite the fact that its buoyancy has been deteriorated. If this boat succeeds in hitting one of the targets of the opposing boat, the protagonists are equally handicapped. The defeat of one of the boats will then be final, when all of its targets have been hit and the boat will be partially submerged, as indicated above.
- FIG 4 there is shown an embodiment in which the windows 11 are replaced by membranes 15 acting as targets and closing openings made in the hull 2 of the boat, below the waterline 5.
- This membrane carries a spur 16 directed towards the inside of the hull 2.
- the attack weapon may consist of any projecting part of the hull which should not be pointed, but may be rounded in the shape of a finger, bulb Or other.
- the spur 16 carried by this membrane 15 is moved in the direction of this same arrow X and punctures the adjacent float 13.
- water can enter the hull 2 through an opening (not shown) located below the waterline so as to deteriorate the buoyancy of the boat.
- a target 17 forming part of an angled lever 18 including a branch 19, for example of triangular shape, a spur 16 having one end, preferably pointed, directed towards a balloon 13 serving as a float.
- the spur 16 punctures the balloon 13 acting as a float.
- the balloon 13 is deflated, it leaves room for the entry of water into the shell 2 through an opening (not shown).
- a wire or elastic tape 24 possibly in the form of a closed loop, permanently urges the branch 19 towards the out-of-service position of the bent lever 18.
- This elastic wire or tape 24 can be fixed to the shell 2.

Description
- la figure 1 est une vue en perspective d'un bateau suivant l'invention ;
- la figure 2 est une coupe suivant la ligne II-II de la figure 1 ;
- la figure 3 est une coupe partielle de la coque d'un bateau montrant une forme de réalisation d'une cible ;
