Abstract

648,636. Toy target ships. ROSBOTTOM, T. A. June 11, 1948, No. 15770. [Class 132 (iii)] A toy target ship comprises one or more target elements 24 which when struck by a " projectile " cause a sprung pivoted lever 33 to be released and to strike the deck thereby dislodging the detachable superstructure elements 7, 7a, 8, 9, 10, 10a and optionally, the deck from the hull. The release mechanism is operated by the target element 24 striking a rod 26 which through collar 27 causes trigger 28 to move on pivot 29 and to thus free the roller 30 attached to lever 33. The guns 11, 11a in turrets 10, 10a may be elevated on pivots 18 and have triggers 19 controlling plungers 20 and projector springs 23.
