  • Another advantage which the apparatus according to the invention offers is the possibility of obtaining a napped result by brushing in only one direction, even on a carder having carder cylinders mounted so as to work with the nap and against the nap. This is achieved by the fact that it is possible to drive only the carder cylinders which work against the nap whilst the cylinders which work in the direction of the nap are allowed to be freely rotatable on the barrel.
  • the carder cylinders working in the direction of the nap can be driven by the fabric itself, conferring thereto a particularly effective treatment and degree of filling of the down on the fabric, which thus avoids the need for clipping.
  • the carder cylinders working against the nap can be allowed to rotate freely and work can proceed onlywith the carder cylinders which work in the direction of the nap. This result is only possible, however, because of the constanttension control exerted ofthefabric on the carder barrel by the feed and draw-off rollers 3 and 4.

  • the intervention times necessary to put the carding cylinders working with the nap or against the nap into their freely rotatable state, or else to put all the cylinders, both those working with the nap and those working against the nap into their freely rotatable state, can be effected in real time with response times of less than a tenth of a second.
  • variable speed drives having electronic controls allows apparatus for control of the working with the nap and againstthe nap to be obtained which gives the possibility of interrupting the carding effect instantaneously, putting the variable speed drives 53 and 57 which control the carding cylinders working with and against the nap, into a freely rotatable condition and renewing the carding, again instantly, without having to stop the machine.

Claims (9)

1. Vorrichtung zur automatischen Regelung der Materialspannung auf der Trommel einer Kratz-und Florlegemaschine, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie, zur Drehzahlregelung eines verstellbaren Drehzahlantriebs (13) für den Vorschub des Stoff (2) auf die Trommel, eine erste elektronische Regelungseinheit (10) und, zur Torsionregelung eines verstellbaren Austrittdrehzahlantriebs (24) für das Stoffherausziehen aus die Trommel, eine zweite elektronische Regelungseinheit (20) einschließt wobei diese zweien verstellbaren Drehzahlantriebe (13, 24) elektrisch zusammenge-schaltet sind und die Drehzahl des verstellbaren Austrittdrehzahlantriebs (24) mittels eines durch den Eintrittdrehzahlantrieb (13) getriebenen Tachogenerators (16) aus dem Eintrittdrehzahlantrieb (13) gesteuert wird.

Regelungsvorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die erste elektronische Einheit (10) eine erste Zentraleinheit (11) verseht, die, zur Regelung des eine Materialeintrittrolle (3) treibenden verstellbaren Drehzahlantriebs (13), aus einem ersten Potentiometer (12) gesteuert ist, wobei ein erster Tachogenerator (16) mit dem verstellbaren Eintrittdrehzahlantrieb (13) geschaltet ist und einer Hilfstachogenerator (15) zur Synchronschaltung des Antriebsmotors (13) vorgesehen ist.

Regelungsvorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die obengenannte zweite elektronische Einheit (20) zur Torsionregelung des verstellbaren Austrittdrehzahlantriebs (24) eine zweite Zentraleinheit (21) verseht, wobei mit dieser einen zweite Potentiometer (22) zur Bestimmung der Nenndrehzahl des verstellbaren Austrittdrehzahlantriebs (24) und einen mit dem verstellbaren Austrittdrehzahlantrieb getriebene Tachogenerator (25) geschaltet sind.

Regelungsvorrichtung nach einer oder mehreren vorhergehenden Ansprüchen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie, zur Regelung einer oberen Stoffherausziehungsrolle (5) eine dritte elektronische Einheit (30) einschließt, wobei diese dritte elektronische Einheit (30) eine dritte Zentraleinheit (31) verseht, die, zur Regelung der Drehzahl eines verstellbaren Drehzahlantriebs (33) der oberen Rolle (5), ein Signal aus einem dritten Potentiometer (32) empfängt, wobei ein dritter Tachogenerator (34) mit dem verstellbaren Drehzahlantrieb (33) der oberen Rolle getrieben wird.

Regelungsvorrichtung nach jeden vorhergehenden Ansprüchen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie eine vierte elektronische Einheit (40) einschließt, die eine vierte Zentraleinheit (41) verseht, die zur Regelung eines verstellbaren Drehzahlantriebs (43) einer Faltenrolle (6) ein Signal aus einem vierten Potentiometer (42) empfängt, wobei ein vierter Tachogenerator mit dem Antrieb der Faltenrolle (43) getrieben wird.
6. Regelungsvorrichtung nach jeden vorhergehenden Ansprüchen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zwischen der ersten und zweiten elektronischen Regelungseinheit (10, 20) eine Einheit (50, 51, 55) zur Drehungsregelung der mit und gegen dem Aufrauhen wirkenden Kratzrollen (60) geschaltet ist.
7. Regelungsvorrichtung nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die obengenannte elektronische Regelungseinheit (50, 51, 55) für die mit und gegen den Aufrauhen wirkenden Kratzrollen einen automatische Null-Florbildungsregler (50) einschließt.

Regelungsvorrichtung nach Anspruch 6 oder Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die elektronische Regelungseinheit (50, 51, 55) für die Kratzrollen, einen elektronische Zentralregler (51) zur Regelung der Drehzahl der mit dem Aufrauhen wirkenden Kratzrollen und einen Potentiometer (52) zur Bestimmung der Nenndrehzahl der mit dem Aufrauhen wirkenden Kratzrollen einschließt, wobei, gemäß der Einstellung des Potentiometers (52) und einem Rücksignal aus einem Tachogenerator (54), der mit dem obengenannten verstellbaren Drehzahlantrieb zur Regelung der mit dem Aufrauhen wirkenden Kratzrollen drehgeschaltet ist, der obige elektronische Zentralregler (51) die Drehzahl eines für die mit dem Aufrauhen wirkenden Kratzrollen verstellbaren Drehzahlantriebs (53) reguliert.

Regelungsvorrichtung nach jeden vorhergehenden Ansprüchen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die obengenannte elektronische Regelungseinheit (50, 51, 55) für die Kratzrollen, einen übrige eletronische Regler (55) zur Regelung der Drehzahl der gegen dem Aufrauhen wirkenden Kratzrolen und einen potentiometer (56) zur Bestimmung der Nenndrehzahl der gegen dem Aufrauhen wirkenden Kratzrollen einschließt, wobei dieser übrige elektronische Regler (55), gemäß der Einstellung des Potentiometers (56) und einem Rücksignal aus einem Tachogenerator (58), der mit dem obengenannten übrigen verstellbaren Drehzahlantrieb (57) zur Regelung der gegen dem Aufrauhen wirkenden Kratzrollen drehgeschaltet ist, die Drehzahl eines übrigen für die gegen dem Aufrauhen wirkenden Kratzrollen verstellbaren Drehzahlantriebs (57) reguliert.
