Une tige mobile 25 sort du cylindre 24 et à son extrémité libre elle est articulée sur un levier de transmission 26 qui pivote luimême en 27 sur l'extrémité du prolongement axial 13a du socle 13. Le levier 26 a comme on le voit une forme triangulaire. Au voisinage d'un de ses sommets il est lié par l'articulation 28 à la tige 25 du vérin, tandis qu'au voisinage d'un autre sommet, opposé au point d'articulation 27 il est articulé par l'intermédiaire d'une biellette 29 sur le bras 16 portant le secteur 17. On comprend qu'une manoeuvre du vérin 24 provoquant un déplacement de la tige 25 vers la gauche à la fig. 3, fait pivoter le levier de transmission 26 dans le sens anti-horaire à la fig. 3, ce qui entraîne le pivotement du clapet 17 autour de son articulation 18 dans un sens tel que ce clapet peut venir prendre une position parallèle à l'axe du tambour. Au cours de cette opération, une portion 26a du levier de transmission 26 est située au-delà de l'articulation 27 et à laquelle est articulée la biellette 23, se déplace vers la droite à la fig. 3, de sorte que le segment de fût 19 subit un léger déplacement vers le haut en pivotant autour de l'articulation 21. C'est une lame d'acier fixée selon un plan radial contenant l'axe du tambour à l'extrémité du prolongement du socle 13. Cette lame de couteau 30 présente une arête profilée 31 agencée de façon à faciliter le coupage du produit 1. Comme on le voit, ce couteau est disposé en position radiale entre le fût 11 et l'axe 18 de pivotement des clapets 17. Immédiatement à côté de ce couteau et sur sa face opposée à celle visible à la fig. 3, le prolongement 13a porte un levier de pincement 32 (fig. 4) qui pivote autour d'une articulation 33 sur le prolongement 13a. Comme on le voit à la fig. 4, ce levier présente un segment d'arête en forme de griffe 34 qui est maintenu appuyé contre l'extrémité du produit 1, logée sous le segment de fût 19. On reconnaît d'autre part à la fig.4 les éléments du tambour et du mécanisme de basculement des clapets 17 qui ont été décrits précédemment. En plus, on voit que le bras 16 du clapet 17 présente entre son point d'articulation 18 et l'endroit où il est fixé au secteur 17 une encoche 35 qui constitue un organe d'accrochage pour le produit 1. De plus, le levier de pincement 32 est sollicité par un ressort argué en épingle à cheveux 36 qui est fixé par un étrier 37 sur la partie supérieure du socle 13 et qui porte lui-même à l'extrémité d'une de ses branches un étrier 38 embrassant le levier 32. Vu la forme de cette arête avec une pointe dans sa partie intermédiaire, le produit est sectionné instantanément et en même temps, comme le galet 37 effectue un mouvement vers le bas à la fig. 5, il laisse le levier de pincement 32 se déplacer vers le bas sous l'effet de la force du ressort 36 transmise par l'étrier 38. Le segment initial de la nouvelle torche est donc pincé contre la face interne du segment de fût 19, de sorte que le produit 1 continue à être entraîné, mais par le tambour vide, et non plus par le tambour plein. Dès que le produit 1 est pincé entre le segment de fût 19 et le levier de pincement 32, le clapet 17 peut continuer sa course jusqu'à la position finale de son mouvement telle qu'elle est représentée aux fig. 3 et 4. Claims (10)

  1. An automatic winder of an elongated product, capable of forming bundles continuously with successive segments of the said product, comprising at least two drums (2, 3) able to be rotated around their axis, means of support (4, 5) for the drums able to move them cyclically to guide them successively into a starting position in which one end part of the elongated product (1) is fixed to the drum and, on each drum, a cutting and gripping device (16, 32, 30), characterized in that the cutting and gripping devices comprise a knife (30) fixed in relation to the drum, a mobile gripping means (16, 32, 35, 34) and operating means (24), also mounted on the drum, which moves the gripping means, this latter displacing the elongated product to cut it and to guide it into the clamping position.
  2. Automatic winder according to claim 1, in which each drum comprises a barrel (11) and two flanges (9, 10) intended to limit the stacking up of turns of elongated product on the drum, at least one of these flanges being divided into a series of flaps (16, 17) capable of swinging around axes distributed circumferentially around the axis of the drum, characterized in that on each drum, the cutting and gripping device is associated with one of the flaps and in that the said operating means (24) is linked with the flap (16, 17) in such a way as to make it swing between an open position allowing the bundle to be removed and a closed position for guiding the product, whilst operating the cutting and gripping device.
  3. Winder according to claim 2, characterized in that the said means is a jack placed parallel to the axis of the drum between the barrel and the said axis.
  4. Winder according to claim 2, characterized in that on each drum, the pivoting axes of the flaps (16, 17) are situated on a circle which passes set back from the drum (11) between this latter and the axis of the drum, the knife (30) is disposed along a radial plane between the barrel of the drum and the pivoting axis of the flap, and the barrel has an opening located in such a way as to allow the elongated product to pass from the exterior to the interior of the barrel.
  5. Winder according to claim 4, characterized in that the barrel (11) of each drum is constituted of segments (19) distributed separately around the axis of the drum, mounted projectingly by one of their ends on a spider support (12) which is part of the drum, in that each segment (19) of the barrel carries the corresponding swinging flap (16, 17) and an operating means (24), the said opening being constituted by the space between a segment (19) which bears the cutting and gripping device (16, 32, 30) and one of the adjacent segments.
  6. Winder according to claim 5, characterized in that the cutting and gripping device comprises an element (16, 35) for capturing the elongated product which, when operated, displaces the elongated product (1) in a direction parallel to the axis of the drum in such a way as to engage it in the interior of the barrel (11) and also a gripping element (32, 34) which moves radially in a centrifugal direction in relation to the axis of the drum to press part of the elongated product disposed alongside the knife against the inner face of the barrel.
  7. Winder according to claim 6, characterized in that the said capturing element (16, 35) is an arm which supports the swinging flap (17) and which, during the cutting and gripping operation, moves between a position where the flap which it carries is parallel to the axis of the drum, and a position where this flap is disposed radially with its inner edge to the right of the free end of the segment of the barrel.
  8. Winder according to claims 3 and 7, characterized in that each cutting and gripping device comprises a transmission lever (26) pivoting on a base (13a) which is part of the segment of the barrel with which the device is associated, a joint between the said transmission lever (26) and the handle (25) of the control jack, a rocker bar (29) between the transmission lever (26) and the capturing element (16), a roller (37) mounted on the transmission lever in such a way as to support the gripping element (32), this latter also being a lever pivoting on the base, and a spring (36) which presses the gripping lever (32) against the supporting roller (37).
  9. Winder according to claim 8, characterized in that the transmission lever (26) is also linked to a barrel plate (19, 20) mounted pivotably on the base (13a), in such a way as to incline slightly towards the axis when the flap is opened.
  10. Winder according to claim 8, characterized in that the spring (36) is constituted by a hairpin rod, one arm of which engages the gripping lever (32) and the other is fixed on the base, the whole in such a manner that, in its two extreme positions, the gripping lever (32) is applied against the roller (37) mounted on the transmission lever (26) and that in the closed position of the flap the gripping lever is engaged by the spring in such a way as to grip the elongated product.
