Zum anderen läßt sich durch die die Abgabeöffnung begrenzenden Lippen ein unkontrolliertes seitliches Austreten der pastösen Masse nicht vermeiden mit der Folge, daß der bekannte Spender für den Auftrag einer Zahnpaste auf eine relativ schmale Zahnbürste nicht geeignet ist. Ganz ähnlich verhält es sich bei den Spendern nach der US-A-2 507 248, US-A-2 611 515 oder US-A-3 937 371. Die Abgabeöffnung 17 weist einen etwa rechteckförmigen Querschnitt auf. Der dieser Abgabeöffnung 17 zugeordnete Schließlappen 16 ist durch einen vorderen Trennschnitt 18 und zwei seitliche Trennschnitte 19, 20 in einer die Abgabeöffnung 17 ursprünglich verschließenden Membran gebildet. Ursprünglich ist also der Schließlappen 16 mit dem übrigen Kopfstück fest verbunden. Erst nach Herstellung des Kopfstückes wird der Schließlappen 16 längs der Linien 18, 19 und 20 "ausgeschnitten". Claims (17)

  1. Dispenser for pasty substances, in particular toothpaste, having a piston (13) which is disposed so that it is slidable in a dispenser housing (10) and moves in the direction of a discharge valve (12) during the emptying of the dispenser, and having a push-button actuation face (14) which is provided on a head piece (15) of the dispenser housing (10), which piece can be compressed like bellows and encloses the discharge valve (12), the discharge valve (12) having a closing flap (16) which as an integral part of the head piece (15) is resiliently coupled (link 23), elastically in the closing direction, at only one side of the discharge aperture (17) allocated to the discharge valve (12), in such a way that when excess pressure occurs in the dispenser housing (10) through compression of the bellows-type head piece (15) said flap releases the discharge aperture (17), characterised in that the piston (13) is blocked by a blocking mechanism (clamping module 11) in the direction opposite to its displacement, and in that the lateral boundary walls of the discharge aperture (17) are extended beyond the closing flap (16), thus forming lateral wall continuations (21, 22) against which the closing flap (16) rests also in the open state, in a sealing manner in each case.
  2. Dispenser according to Claim 1, characterised in that the discharge aperture (17) has an approximately rectangular or square cross-section, and in that the closing flap (16) is formed by a front dividing section (18) and two lateral dividing sections (19, 20) in a wall or membrane originally closing the discharge aperture (17).
  3. Dispenser according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that in the region of the link (23) of the closing flap (16) a material weakening in the form of a groove (38) which is open towards the interior of the container is formed.
  4. Dispenser according to Claim 1, characterised in that the discharge aperture (17) has an approximately rectangular or square cross-section, and in that the closing flap (16) is taken out of an original position projecting into the discharge aperture (17) after the making of lateral dividing sections (19, 20) under elastic pre-tensioning in the region of its link (23) to the head piece (15) or to the inner edge of the discharge aperture (17) into the closed position, in which its originally free front edge (24) or edge lying opposite the link (23) rests in a sealing manner under pre-tension on the front edge (25) of the discharge aperture (17).

Dispenser according to Claim 1, characterised in that the closing flap (16) in its original position extends approximately vertically downwards or approximately parallel to the longitudinal direction of the container into the interior of the container, and starting from the inside-lying edge (28) of the discharge aperture (17) and hanging down freely, the length of the closing flap (16) being dimensioned in such a way that in the closed position its front or free edge (24) rests under elastic pre-tension in the closing direction in a sealing manner on the front edge (25) of the discharge aperture (17), and the width of the closing flap (16) corresponds to the clear width of the discharge aperture (17).
  7. Dispenser according to one of Claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the closing flap (16) is disposed at a distance from the edge of the discharge aperture (17) inside said aperture, i.e. displaced relative to the interior of the container, and in its original position is formed as a continuation of the boundary wall (29) of the discharge aperture (17) at the rear or inside of the container, and in its closed position it rests with its front or free edge (24) under elastic pre-tension in the closing direction in a sealing manner on a projection (31) provided, in particular moulded onto, the front boundary wall (30) of the discharge aperture (17) and projecting into the discharge aperture (17).
  8. Dispenser according to Claim 7, characterised in that a material accumulation, preferably in the form of a rib (44) extending from the closing flap (16) to the head piece (15), and reinforcing the joint link as well as supporting the return movement of the closing flap (16) to the closed position, is allocated to the closing flap (16) in the region of its link (43) to the head piece (15).
  9. Dispenser according to Claim 8, characterised in that the reinforcement rib (44) is situated on the upper side or on the side of the closing flap (16) facing the discharge aperture (17).
  10. Dispenser according to one of Claims 7 to 9, characterised in that a further closing flap (32) is allocated to the free edge of the discharge aperture (17).
  11. Dispenser according to Claim 10, characterised in that the further closing flap (32) can be snapped by its free end (54) onto the head piece (15) both in the closed position and in the open position.
  12. Dispenser according to Claim 11, characterised in that the free end (54) of the further closing flap (32) has on the front and rear side in each case a catch projection (45 and 46, respectively) or a catch recess interacting with a complementary catch recess (47 and 48, respectively) provided on the head piece (15) or a complementary catch projection, thus forming a catch connection.
  13. Dispenser according to Claims 1 to 12, characterised in that the zone forming the bellows (34) of the head piece (15) is obtained by a horizontal flat V-shaped constriction (35) extending at the side lying opposite the discharge valve (12) at least over about one third of the cross-section width of the head piece (15), in its basic form approximately cylindrical or tapering upwards in the form of a truncated cone, while the front wall of the head piece (15) enclosing the discharge valve (12) is made relatively straight and accordingly resistant to buckling, preferably caused by an approximately upright discharge channel (36), i.e. extending in the lengthwise direction of the container, the cross-section of which channel corresponds approximately to the cross-section of the discharge aperture (17), and which is open towards the head piece or the inside of the container.
  14. Dispenser for pasty substances, in particular toothpaste, having a piston (13) which is disposed so that it is slidable in a dispenser housing (10) and moves in the direction of a discharge valve (12) during the emptying of the dispenser, and having a push-button actuation face (14) which is provided on a head piece (15) of the dispenser housing (10), which piece can be compressed like bellows and encloses the discharge valve (12), the discharge valve (12) having a closing flap (16) which as an integral part of the head piece (15) is resiliently coupled (link 23), elastically in the closing direction, at only one side of the discharge aperture (17) allocated to the discharge valve (12), in such a way that when excess pressure occurs in the dispenser housing (10) through compression of the bellows-type head piece (15) it releases the discharge aperture (17), and in which the piston moving in the direction of the discharge valve (12) is in the form of a drag piston (13"), and the head piece (15) forms a pump chamber (39) which is variable in volume and is separated from the dispenser housing (10) by a non-return valve (40, 40') to be opened only in the direction of the pump chamber (39), characterised in that the lateral boundary walls of the discharge aperture (17) are extended beyond the closing flap (16), thus forming lateral wall continuations (21, 22) against which the closing flap (16) rests also in the open state, in a sealing manner in each case, and in that the non-return valve (40, 40') as an integral part of the head piece (15) is allocated to an aperture (42) disposed in an upper partition (41) between head piece (15) and dispenser housing (10).
  15. Dispenser according to Claim 14, characterised in that the upper partition (41) is an integral part of the dispenser housing (10) with at least one aperture, preferably four apertures (42), disposed distributed uniformly over the periphery, and in that the non-return valve (40, 40') is formed by a closing lip (40 or 40') which is connected in one piece to the head piece (15) and is allocated to said aperture(s) (42), and which is operational the head piece side of the partition (41).
  16. Dispenser according to Claim 15, characterised in that the closing lip of the non-return valve (40) extends over the entire periphery of the head piece (15) and is allocated to several apertures (42) in the partition (41) between head piece (15) and dispenser housing (10).
  17. Dispenser according to one or more of Claims 1 to 16, characterised in that the discharge aperture (17) is defined by a channel formed in the head piece (15), to which at least one aperture (49) opening into the discharge aperture (17) is allocated which is intended for the discharge of a pasty substance (50) disposed in the head piece (15) and having a different colour and/or different composition.
