Light fixture according to claim 3, characterised in that each end plate (2 or 3) has a cylinderical fixing stud (4) having a flat region or any other rotation-preventing profile and comprising a goove (6) with an inclined flank in which there is inserted a circlip (7) for locking the stud (4) introduced into the corresponding orifice (8) which is provided in each of the side walls (10 and 11) of the stirrup (1) and has a shape mating with that of the stud (4).

Light fixture according to claim 2, characterised in that the end plates (2 and 3) are mounted on the stirrup (1) by fixing means in the form of one or more holes provided in the side walls (10 and 11) of the stirrup (1) and in the end plates (2 and 3), allowing said end plates (2 and 3) to be fixed by screws introduced through the holes and secured by nuts.

Light fixture according to claim 2, characterised in that the end plates (2 and (3) are mounted on the stirrup (1) by fixing means in the form of clips which are provided on the end plates (2 and 3) and each cooperate with a cavity provided in the side walls (10 and 11) of the stirrup (1), or vice versa.

Light fixture according to claim 2, characterised in that the end plates (2 and 3) are mounted on the stirrup (1) by fixing means in the form of one or more slots of any profile which are provided in the end plates (2 and 3) and each cooperate with a tenon provided on the side walls (10 and 11) of the stirrup (1), or vice versa.
9. Light fixture according to any one of the preceding claims 2 to 8, characterised in that the end plates (2 and 3) each have a connecting means allowing other end plates to be fixed in succession on each end plate (2 or 3), only the end plates (2 and 3) being integral with the stirrup (1).
10. Light fixture according to claim 2, characterised in that the end plates (2 and 3) are integral with the stirrup (1) which can be engaged in or on the support.
