Die Erfindung wird im folgenden anhand eines in der Zeichnung dargestellten Ausführungsbeispieles erläutert. Das dargestellte Ausführungsbeispiel zeigt einen Schreibkopf 1 einer an sich bekannten Tintenschreibein­richtung,vor dem sich ein Aufzeichnungsträger 2 befindet. Der Schreibkopf 1 bsteht im wesentlichen aus einem Tin­tenversorgungssystem 3, das einerseits mit den im Inneren des Schreibkopfes 1 verlaufenden Tintenkanälen 8 und an­dererseits mit verschiedenen Tintenbehältern 10, 11, 12, 13 verbunden ist, die Tinte verschiedener Farbe enthal­ten. Es ist bekannt, zur Darstellung von mehrfarbigen Zeichen und Grafiken, Tinten der Farben Schwarz, Cyan, Magenta und Yellow zu verwenden. Erfindungsgemäß sind die Austrittsöffnungen des Schreib­kopfes 1 derart angeordnet, daß eine erste vertikale Reihe von n-Austrittsöffnungen, im Beispiel die n = 9 Austrittsöffnungen 40 bis 49 für den Ausstoß von Tin­tentröpfchen schwarzer Farbe vorgesehen ist. Diese werden im folgenden als Schwarzdüsen bezeichnet. Jeweils m-Austrittsöffnungen im Beispiel die m = 5 Austrittsöff­nungen 50 bis 54, 60 bis 64 bis und 70 bis 74 sind zum Ausstoß von Tintentröpfchen jeweils unterschiedlicher Farbe vorgesehen. Diese werden im folgenden als Farbdüsen bezeichnet. Es handelt sich dabei jeweils um die Grund­farben im sogenannten subtraktiven Farbmischsystem, im Beispiel um die Farben Cyan, Magenta und Yellow. Sämt­liche Austrittsöffnungen 40 bis 49, 50 bis 54, 60 bis 64 und 70 bis 74 sind jeweils in vertikaler Richtung im Abstand a angeordnet, wobei a durch das für die Zeichen­darstellung vorgesehene Raster bestimmt und derart ge­wählt ist, daß die im Raster aufgetragenen einzelnen Tintenpunkte der Darstellung in der sogenannten Ent­wurfsqualität entspricht. Zumindest die Anzahl n der Schwarzdüsen ist dabei so gewählt, daß durch sie die durch das Zeichenraster vorgesehene Höhe einer Schreib­zeile abgedeckt wird. Damit wird erreicht, daß eine Darstellung in der Entwurfsqualität in einem einzigen Durchgang stattfinden kann. Die jeweils m-Austritts­öfnungen für die Farbdüsen, können in ihrer Anzahl ge­ringer sein (m n). Sie sind jedoch in horizontaler Richtung in der gleichen Höhe angeordnet, wie die Schwarzdüsen. Die Darstellung von Zeichen oder Grafiken in der hoch­wertigeren NLQ-Schriftqualität erfolgt im sogenannten Multipass-Betrieb.Man versteht darunter, daß zur Darstel­lung der Zeichen mehrere Durchläufe je Schreibzeile statt­finden, wobei einerseits die Relativbewegung zwischen Aufzeichnungsträger und Schreibkopf in Feinstufen statt­findet und andererseits der Drucktakt entsprechend einer Feinunterteilung des Rastertaktes abgegeben wird. Die erste Maßnahme wird durch eine Mikrozeilenschaltung realisiert. Die zweite Maßnahme wird dadurch erreicht, daß die Druckersteuerung in sogenannten Halbschritten Zeichen ergänzende Druckimpulse erzeugt. Fig. 3 zeigt, daß unter diesen Voraussetzungen die Darstellung eines Zeichens in einem 17 × 17 Raster erfolgt. Der Abdruck des Zeichens "A" geschieht dabei in der Weise, daß der ge­strichelt eingezeichnete Schreibkopf 1 zunächst in Richtung 15 bewegt wird, wobei die Druckersteuerung jeweils an allen horizontalen Druckstellen, nämlich an den durch einen Halbdruckschritt bestimmten Rasterspalten Druckimpulse abgibt. The imprint of the character "A" is done in such a way that the dashed head 1 is first moved in the direction 15, the printer controller emitting pressure pulses at all horizontal printing points, namely at the screen columns determined by a half-printing step. Claims (4)

1. Anordnung für die Austrittsöffnungen im Druckkopf einer Mehrfarben-Tintenschreibeinrichtung, in der die Austrittsöffnungen über Tintenkanäle mit Tintenbehältern verbunden sind, die Tinte schwarzer Farbe sowie Tinte mindestens weiterer drei Grundfarben enthalten, in der jedem Tintenkanal ein Piezowandler zugeordnet ist, durch dessen individuelle Ansteuerung Einzeltröpfchen aus den Austrittsöffnungen ausgestoßen werden, und in der der Druckkopf in Zeilenrichtung über einen Aufzeichnungs­träger beweglich ist,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die zum Ausstoß von Tintentröpfchen schwarzer Farbe vorgesehen n Austrittsöffnungen (40 bis 4n) eine erste vertikale Reihe bilden, wobei deren Anzahl (n) und deren gegenseitiger Abstand (a) derart ist, daß auf dem Aufzeichnungsträger (2) Zeichen über die Höhe einer Schreibzeile in einer sogenannten Entwurfsschriftqualität (DQ) darstellbar sind,
daß die zum Ausstoß von Tintentröpfchen der anderen Grundfarben vorgesehenen m Austrittsöffnungen (50 bis 5m, 60 bis 6m, 70 bis 7m) in weiteren vertikalen Reihen angeordnete sind, wobei der gegenseitige Abstand der Austrittsöffnungen innerhalb einer Reihe dem Abstand (a) der ersten vertikalen Reihe entspricht,
und daß der Aufzeichnungsträger (2) in vertikaler Rich­tung nach der Aufzeichnung jeweils einer Schreibzeile wahlweise um mindestens eine halbe Schreibzeilenhöhe (Aufzeichnung in DQ) oder um einen Wert weiter transpor­tiert wird, der der Hälfte (a/2) des Abstandes (a) der Austrittsöffnungen der vertikalen Reihe entspricht (Auf­zeichnung in der sogenannten Schönschreibqualität NLQ).

2. Anordnung nach Anspruch 1,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Anzahl n der zum Ausstoß von Tintentröpfchen schwarzer Farbe vorgesehenen Austrittsöffnungen (40 bis 4n) größer ist als die Anzahl m der für jeweils eine weitere Grund­farbe vorgesehenen Austrittsöffnungen (50 bis 5n, 60 bis 6m, 70 bis 7m).
