Die in der Figur dargestellte Kaminhaube umfasst zur Hauptsache zwei in einem bestimmten Abstand übereinander montierte Deflektoren 1 und 2, welche mittels Befestigungs- und Stützorganen 3, 30 auf einem Kamin 4 befestigt sind. Beide Deflektoren zeigen einen kreisförmigen Aussenrand 5, wobei der untenliegende Deflektor 1 eine zentrale, ebenfalls kreisförmige Oeffnung 6 aufweist. Der Durchmesser dieser zentralen Oeffnung 6 liegt vorzugsweise in der Grössenordnung zwischen 38 und 45 % des Aussendurchmesser des Deflektors 1. Erfindungsgemäss ist zwischen den beiden Deflektoren 1 und 2, nahe genug über der zentralen Oeffnung 6 des unten liegenden Deflektors 1, eine Einengung 8 vorgesehen, so dass die durch die Oeffnung 6 aufsteigenden Gase, wie durch den Pfeil 9 angegeben, eine Beschleunigung beim Verlassen der Oeffnung erfahren. In der dargestellten Ausführungsform wird diese Verengung 8 durch eine zentrisch unter dem genannten zweiten Deflektor 2 vorgesehenen Leitblech 10 bestimmt, welches sich über der zentralen Oeffnung 6 erstreckt und eine zur Oeffnung gerichtete etwa kugelförmige Seite 11 aufweist. Folglich bewirkt das Leitblech in Zusammenwirkung mit der Oberfläche 7 des Deflektors 1 ein Venturi-Effekt. Das an der Unterseite des zweiten Deflektors 2 montierte Leitblech 10 bildet mit jenem einen Hohlraum 12. Das Leitblech 10 erstreckt sich mit seinem gewölbten Teil über der zentralen Oeffnung 6 des Deflektors 1 bis zu dessen inneren Rand 13. Die gesamte Konstruktion der Kaminhaube ist so ausgelegt, dass sie ohne Schweissnaht mit lediglich wenigen Schrauben vollständig montiert beziehungsweise demontiert werden kann. Die Deflektoren 1 und 2, sowie das Leitblech 10, die in etwa horizontale Ebene verlaufende ringförmigen Bereiche aufweisen, sind mit übereinander angeordneten, korrespondierenden Durchgangslöchern versehen. Mittels Kunststoffschrauben 15, die durch die vorgenannten Durchgangslöcher führen, sind die beiden Teile auf Distanzbolzen 16 aus Kunststoff, die mit entsprechenden Gewinden versehen sind, fest aufeinander geschraubt. Die Distanzbolzen 16 stehen nahe dem inneren Rand 13 des unteren Deflektors 1 auf denselben auf und definieren den gewünschten Abstand zwischen den beiden Deflektoren 1 und 2. Unterhalb des unteren Deflektors 1 sind Stützorgane 17 angeordnet, die genau unter den Distanzbolzen 16 verlaufen. Auch die Stützorgane 17 sind mit Durchgangsbohrungen versehen, die mit den Durchgangsbohrungen im unteren Deflektor 1 in der Montagelage korrespondieren. Wiederum mit Kunststoffschrauben 18 sind die Stützorgane 17 zusammen mit dem Deflektor 1 an den Distanzbolzen 16 geschraubt. Die Stützorgane 3 haben die Form von aus streifenförmig zugeschnittenen Material gefertigten Auflagebügel, die im Randbereich 5 des unteren Deflektors 1 eine doppelte Umbiegung aufweisen. Die Auflagefläche 19 des Auflagebügels 17 kann mit einer vorgepressten Bugstelle versehen sein, damit die Auflagedistanz zwischen Kaminrand und dem äusseren Rand 5 des unteren Deflektors 1 höheneinstellbar ist. Die als Auflagebügel geformte Stützorgane 17 haben einen Arm 20, der vom inneren Rand 13 der zentralen Oeffnung des ersten Deflektors 1 im montierten Zustand nach unten in den Kamin hineinragen. Die unteren Enden der Arme 20, der Stützorgane 17 sind untereinander durch Befestigunsorgane 30 miteinander verbunden. Die Befestigungsorgane 30 bestehen aus einem Ring 31 sowie patinierten Schrauben 32 die den Ring 31 und je einen Arm 20 der Stützorgane 17 durchsetzen. Die Länge der Distanzbolzen 16 sollten zwischen 20 und 45 % des Masses des Durchmessers der Oeffnung 6 betragen. Beim Anheizen besteht im Kamin kaum ein thermischer Auftrieb. Jeder, auch der geringste Wind der durch die Kaminhaube streicht, wird zwischen den beiden Deflektoren 1 und 2 durch das Leitblech 10 beschleunigt, weil dieses einen Venturi-Effekt bewirkt. Hierdurch entsteht im Kaminrohr ein gewünschter Sog, der die Feuerung positiv beeinflusst. Nach einer gewissen Feuerungszeit hat sich der Kamin 4 erwärmt und der thermische Auftrieb im Kamin nimmt mehr und mehr zu. Ohne den gewünschten Wärmeaustauscheffekt genügend vollbracht zu haben, treten die erhitzten Gase nach aussen. Ist der thermische Auftrieb gross, so prallen die erhitzten Gase auf das Leitblech 10 und steigen in das ringförmige kuppelartige Gewölbe 14, wo sie vom oberen Deflektor 2 nach unten abgebogen werden und eine Turbulenz T bewirken. Die Turbulenz T verunmöglicht so einen Windeintritt und stoppen somit den Venturi-Effekt. Auf diese Weise wird der Austritt der erhitzten Gase aus dem Kamin 4 verzögert und damit ein unnötiger Wärmeverlust gebremst. Die vorhandene Thermik im Kamin bewirkt, dass trotzdem noch genügend Gase aus dem Kamin aufsteigen können. Die gestoppte Sogwirkung jedoch vermindert den Brand in der Feuerungsanlage, wodurch Heizenergie gespart werden kann.There is hardly any thermal buoyancy in the chimney when heating up. - 2. A chimney cowl according to claim 1, characterised in that the surface of the first deflector (1) being downwardly concave in its outer edge area merging into a convex form towards its central opening (6).

A chimney cowl according to claim 4, characterized in that the deflectors (1, 2) are connected to each so as to be separable, this being done by help of distance pieces (16) with bolts (15,18) the length of said distance pieces being between 20 and 45% of the diameter of the central opening (6) in the first deflector.
- 6. A chimney cowl according to claim 1, characterized in that the first deflector (1) is provided with supporting and securing elements (3, 30), by means of which the cowl can be secured at the desired distance above the chimney (4).
- 7. A chimney cowl according to claim 6, characterized in that the supporting elements (3) merge into brackets (17) that are secured to the lower side of the first deflector (1) whilst the supporting elements (3) are formed by a double bend (19) of said brackets.
- 8. A chimney cowl according to claim 6, characterized in that the securing elements (30) consist of a ring (31) and screws (32) that are secured therein and oriented radially outwards.
- 9. A chimney cowl according to claim 5, characterized in that the two deflectors (1, 2) and the dish shaped baffle (10) each have horizontal, annular areas that are vertically arranged one above the other, said annular areas having bore holes through which plastic screws (15, 16) pass, thereby clampingly securing distance pieces (16) between said two deflectors.
- 10. A chimney cowl according to claims 5 or 7 or 8 and 9 characterized by brackets (17) extending and passing below the underside of the first deflector as far as the central opening, said brackets having bore holes in alignment with the bore holes in the first deflector, said brackets being bent vertically downwards for holding a ring (31) by help of mounting screws (32) passing through said ring and said brackets.
- 11. A chimney cowl according to claim 9, characterized in that length of the distance pieces (16) is between 20 and 45 % of the diameter of the opening (6) in the lower deflector (1).
