Abstract

To reduce the assembly costs of rails for a supporting structure of a wall or ceiling covering with continuous facade joints, according to the invention the rail is made in two parts. It consists of a supporting section (1, 2, 3) fastenable directly or indirectly to the wall or ceiling and of a holding section (4, 5) connected insertably to this, the two sections being held together by means of fastening elements arranged in succession in the longitudinal direction of the rail. The fastening elements are preferably rivets, but could also be screws, for example self-tapping screws, in which case fastening holes are located on a fastening strip of the preferably T-shaped holding section, whilst the fastening holes are made by means of the self-tapping screws in the opposite wall of the supporting section. The holding section (4, 5) is attached onto the supporting section (1, 2, 3) transversely relative to its longitudinal axis and parallel to the wall or ceiling and thereafter, as stated, is connected firmly to the supporting section by means of the rivets or the like. A different design of the holding section makes it possible easily to allow for the prevailing conditions, for example in the window region or breastwork region. In this instance, for example, a supporting section extending over two storeys and a holding section consisting of a plurality of parts are used, and in the instance mentioned "narrow" and "wide" sections can alternate. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a rail for a substructure of a wall or ceiling covering. For the sake of simplicity, we will only speak of facade or wall cladding in the following, without this being understood as restrictive. In the case of wall cladding, rails of the type mentioned at the outset are attached to the outside of the wall. They are used for the direct attachment of the facade panels and the like, or for fastening further rails which run perpendicular to them and in turn carry the facade panels or the like. For the facade panels, it is important that a continuous joint is created from top to bottom or vice versa. This means that left and right of the window each such a joint runs from the roof to the floor or a base. In the area of the windows, only one plate is attached to the vertical rail near the window, starting from the joint, while there are pairs of plates on the parapet between windows arranged one above the other on both sides of the joints. For this reason it has so far been customary to use so-called "whole" rails over the height of the parapet, to which two panels arranged side by side can be attached, while in the facade sections next to the windows there are only so-called "half" rails. All in all, relatively short rails are installed in an extension of one another, alternately "half" and "whole". Already in a three- or four-story building, but above all in high-rise buildings, this results in considerable installation effort.

From DE-A-3 332 900 a "wall system, in particular facade system" has become known. It has a lattice-like structure made of horizontal and vertical support strips, which are arranged on the same level. In order to make this possible, the vertical support strips are divided into sections in the case of continuous horizontal support strips, a row of vertical support strip sections then being located between adjacent horizontal support strips.

The support strips in turn consist of two identical or similar profile halves in a mirror-image or comparable arrangement between which a connecting profile is preferably made of hard foam or the like. This latticework or its horizontal support strips are held indirectly via bracket supports on vertical rails, which in turn are attached to the wall of a building to be clad. These rails are simple profiles, for example T-profiles. They have to be aligned very precisely in relation to the wall, because the bracket supports do not in themselves make it possible to compensate for unevenness or angular errors in the wall.

The cladding panels for the wall, so-called surface elements, are held with the help of a cover profile which is connected to the horizontal support strip in a chopping manner.

Different versions of the cover profile are proposed. However, each cover profile requires a special cross-section of the support bar in order to be able to interlock. An exchange of the cover profile for a different type is not possible with the same support bar. Added to this is the fact that the support strips themselves are not only made up of three parts, but that the two circumferential profiles in turn have different cross sections in different exemplary embodiments.

Overall, there is a little flexible system for facade cladding, which is very complex to manufacture and assemble.

The object of the invention is now to reduce the assembly effort mentioned at the outset.

To solve this problem, the invention proposes that a rail for a substructure of a wall or ceiling covering is formed according to the characterizing part of claim 1. Due to the two-part structure of this rail, you can first attach a support profile that runs from top to bottom in a vertical arrangement on the wall. Provided there are no manufacturing and transport problems and official regulations do not prohibit this, you can theoretically choose the length of the support profile equal to the height of the building. In practice, however, it will be the case that a support profile extends, for example, over two full storeys. On this support profile you can now fasten the correspondingly designed holding profiles of different design directly next to each other. So you can design a holding profile based on a "full profile" of the prior art and another similar to a "half profile". You then alternately attach a support profile of one type to the same support profile in the area of the parapet and a support profile of the other type in the area of the windows. As long as there are no windows, but rather a large area must be covered, the support profile can of course be as long as this train like the support profile and use only one type, namely that which is designed based on a "full profile". In this way, a very universal, fast-fastening and continuous joint system is obtained.

Due to the special design of the support profile, the pluggable, connectable holding profile can be mounted on the latter in a particularly simple and rapid manner transversely to the longitudinal axis of the support profile. The support profile and the holding profile are connected to one another in a known manner, thermal expansions being taken into account in the usual way.

In a further development of the invention it is proposed that the holding profile parallel to the wall or ceiling transverse to the longitudinal axis of the support profile is attached to the latter. The attachment of the holding profile on the support profile is not carried out against the wall, but parallel to the latter. This enables appropriate training, above all, of the holding profile and a favorable connection option between the two profiles or sections of the two-part rail.

A particularly preferred embodiment of the invention is characterized by two plug connections arranged one behind the other in the plugging direction. This gives a wide mounting base and a correspondingly stable construction of this two-part rail.

A further embodiment of the invention provides that each plug connection consists of a U-shaped receptacle of one rail part and at least one bar of the other rail part which engages between the U-legs. The thickness of the bar corresponds to the distance between the U-legs of the receptacle, taking into account adequate play. The latter is to be chosen so that assembly is possible without any problems. On the other hand, a big game should be avoided. Possibly. can be provided by a suitable cross-sectional selection a somewhat tighter fit inside, so that the plug-in begins relatively smoothly, but at the end of the plug-in process there is a full connection.

The rail for a substructure of a wall or ceiling covering is designed in two parts according to the invention. It consists of a support profile and a fastened retaining profile that is plugged in. The support profile is designated 1 in Figures 1 and 2, 2 in Figure 3 and 3 in Figure 9. The two embodiments of the holding profile bear the reference numbers 4 (FIG. 4) and 5 (FIG. 5). 1, it is entirely possible to connect different holding profiles with one and the same supporting profile, but this does not change the "two-part structure" of the rail in the sense of claim 1. In this case, the total length of all holding profiles is equal to that of the supporting profile. For the sake of clarity, the holding profiles of the right supporting profile of FIG. 1 have not been shown. The length of the support profile preferably corresponds to that of two full storeys. Accordingly, the reference numerals 6 and 7 denote two windows of a building arranged next to one another at a distance. The window 8 is below the window 6, while the window 9 is arranged below the window 7. It can be seen from FIGS. 4 and 5 that the width 10 of the holding profile 4 is less than the width 11 of the holding profile 5. This is also clearly expressed in the schematic drawing in FIG. 1. The narrow design 4 is preferably used in the area between two windows, while the wide design 11 is used between the two parapets. This is due to the fact that the parapets are also covered, while there are of course no facade panels or the like in front of the windows.

For a better understanding of FIG. 1, its cross-section 12 is drawn below the support profile 1 and its cross-section 13 below the lower holding profile 5. The arrow 14 symbolizes the mounting direction of the holding profile or, in the exemplary embodiment of FIG. 1, the different holding profile parts. Accordingly, they are pushed parallel to the wall level, for example from right to left, onto the support profile 1. Gaps are left between the individual embodiments of the holding profile parts of FIG. 1, which can be dispensed with in practice.

24 an. For example, FIGS. 2 and 4 show that there are plug connections arranged one behind the other in the plug-on direction 14. Each consists of a U-shaped receptacle 15 or 16 of the one rail part, in particular the support profile 1, 2, 3 and a bar 21 or 22 of the other rail part, which extends between the U-legs 17 and 18 or 19 and 20, in particular of the holding profile 4, 5. One of the strips, for example the strip 22, is followed by a fastening strip 23 or 24 running perpendicularly thereto. 4 and 5, an imaginary plane runs through the fastening strip 23 through the free end of the connector strip 22. As a result, in these exemplary embodiments the two strips are connected to one another via a strip 25 with an angular cross section.

In contrast, the mounting bar 24 is in the embodiment 9 directly attached to the fixed end of the connector strip 22, which is why there is no cross-sectionally angular strip there.

The fastening strip 23, 24 is provided with a plurality of fastening openings arranged one behind the other in the longitudinal direction of the rail, of which at least one, in particular the one located at one of the holding profile ends, is a round bore. The rest can also be normal bores or elongated holes. Loud bores are used especially for the same material for the support profile and the holding profile. If the expansion coefficient of the two profiles is not the same, the uppermost fastening opening is formed as a hole and the rest as elongated holes.

Figures 4 and 5 show that the holding profile 4, 5 has a substantially T-shaped shape. The T-crossbar 27 or 28 is a fastening web to which either the facade panels or, in the case of a vertical arrangement of the rail, a horizontal crossbar (counter battens) is fastened, which then in turn carries the facade panels or the like. The T-longitudinal web 29 or 30 is shorter in particular in the embodiment of FIG. 5 compared to the T-transverse web. He carries the connector strip 21 or 22, which is particularly integrally formed thereon. It extends perpendicular to it and thus also perpendicular to the fastening strip 23 or 24. In addition, the T-longitudinal web overlaps 29, 30 the two free U-leg ends (Fig. 2) of the U-shaped receptacles 15 and 16. The same applies analogously to the embodiment of Fig. 3. This means that the depth of the groove of these U-shaped receptacles 15 and 16 approximately corresponds to the width of the strips 21 and 22 or slightly exceeds them. It can also be seen from FIGS. 4 and 5 that the T-longitudinal web 29, 30 is attached off-center to the T-cross web 27, 28. Nevertheless, the T-crosspiece 27 or 28 is arranged approximately centrally to the support profile 1, 2, 3.

19.In each case on the wide part of the T-crosspiece 27, 28 there is an angular fastening strip on the side carrying the T-longitudinal strip 29, 30, the free angle leg 21 of which is the strip for the plug connection already mentioned. The distance between the two strips 21 and 22 from the T-crosspiece 27, 28 corresponds approximately to the thickness of the U-legs 17 and 19 respectively.

The support profiles 1 and 2 have a substantially U-shaped cross section. They carry the two U-shaped receptacles 15 and 16 at their free U-leg ends. According to FIGS. 2 and 3, the U-legs 17, 18 and 19, 20 run perpendicular to the U-legs 32, 33. This means that it is possible that the holding profile 4 can be pushed onto the supporting profile in the direction of arrow 14. The U-legs 17, 18 of the one receptacle 15 are placed on the inner surface of the one U-leg 32 of the support profile 1, 2, 3 and the U-transverse web of this receptacle is through the free end of the relevant support profile U-leg 32 is formed.

The U-cross bar of the other U-shaped receptacle 16 extends in the extension of the other U-leg 33 of the support profile 1 (Fig. 2). In the other embodiments according to FIGS. 3 and 8, the one U-leg 20, that is to say the inner U-leg of the other U-shaped receptacle 16 with its free end at the free end of the associated other U-leg 33 of the support profile 2, 3 scheduled. In other words, the U-shaped receptacle 16 of the exemplary embodiments in FIGS. 3 and 8 is set back in relation to the plane of the U-leg 33 of the support profile 2, 3, while in FIG. 2 the U-shaped receptacle 16 is set back to the plane of the U-leg 33 is attached. In addition, the support profile 1, 2, 3 and the holding profile 4, 5 is preferably made in one piece with all its strips.

The U-cross bar 34 of the support profile 1, 2, 3 is provided with fastening openings 35, 36. Since a "fixed" fastening point and otherwise "movable" fastening points are required for such a rail, it would basically be sufficient to provide only one fastening opening 36 designed as a bore, for example at the upper end in the position of use, and to provide otherwise elongated fastening openings 35 which extend from each other and in particular are arranged in the center of the U-crosspiece 34. The embodiment of FIG. 2, however, sees groups of one elongated hole each and a round hole in front. This is also due to manufacturing reasons. Of the round bores 36, only one is used for the direct or, in particular, indirect fastening of the rail to the wall or ceiling. The movable attachment points allow expansion under the influence of heat.

Verbindungselementen. In the embodiment of Figure 8, the two U-legs 32 and 33 of the support profile 3, in particular in the region of the U-shaped receptacle 15 and 16, are connected to one another by means of an additional web 37. This results in a stiffening of the support profile and at the same time the formation of a channel with a rectangular cross section. It can be used to lay pipes or directly as a pipe duct. This rail is particularly important when it comes to creating a so-called energy-saving facade. Since the support profile according to FIGS. 6 and 7, but in particular according to FIG. 7, is connected to a further profile, it is particularly advantageous if inner webs 38 and 39 are inserted or formed between the additional web 37 and the U-cross web 34 so that the interior of the chamber is divided into three parts. The middle part 40 then serves as a pipe or pipe duct, while the outer walls of the outer parts according to FIG. 7 are connected with a fastening profile 41. The connection is made with the aid of rows of rivets 42 and 43 or the like. This saves the use of sealing rivets or the like connecting elements.

The fastening profile of FIG. 7 also has a U-shaped cross-section and it is fastened directly to the wall or the like. In the area of the fastening elements — for example, dowels with screws — rear features 44 are provided. The fastening profile 41 comprises the support profile 1, 2, 3 outside.

In the embodiment of FIG. 6, another fastening profile 45 is used and the distance from the wall is maintained with the aid of special spacing dowels.

The day profile 1, 2, 3 is preferably made from aluminum or the like. Light metal, while stainless steel is preferably used for the holding profile. Instead, a holding profile made of plastic is also conceivable. Plastic or stainless steel can also be used for the support profile.
