Description

The invention relates to a cutting head for the driving of prefabricated concrete pipes for the production of tunnels or tunnels, the concrete pipes being driven successively from a press pit by means of a driving device in a trench equipped with vertical sheeting panels as a coherent pipe string and an unexposed part of the trench by a tubular one Cutting head is cut.

Etonrohren in the manufacture of studs or tunnels from prefabricated B of the soil over the concrete pipes in either a closed or open construction is carried out in dependence on the thickness. With a thickness of up to two to three times the pipe diameter, the open trench construction is often used.

In the known open trench construction, a relatively wide trench is excavated, whereby either the natural slope angle has to be taken into account or the trench wall has to be secured by additional extensions, for example vertical sheeting plates. The pipes are placed in the trench from above by means of a crane, which travels on a path that is required next to the trench. After laying the pipes, the trench is filled in and the terrain is leveled.

In order to reduce the space requirements and to increase the laying performance, it has become known from DE-AS 16 58 772 to advance concrete pipes from a press pit by means of a hydraulic jacking device in succession in a trench of approximately V-shaped cross-section as a coherent pipe string, one not exposed part of the trench is cut by the cutting head. This hydraulic method of driving in an open trench with a natural slope angle has proven itself where there is sufficient space for the trench, which is V-shaped in cross section. In order to enable jacking even with narrow construction area widths, it is known from DE-P 33 14 813 to design the width of the trench equipped with vertical sheeting panels to be equal to or smaller than the outside diameter of the concrete pipes, with the sheeting panels on each side of the trench at one of the outside diameter receive a corresponding width of the trench reaching to the side lines of the concrete pipes, or in the case of a smaller width of the trench a structural depth reaching just above the concrete pipes. With this open design, an end slope is formed in front of the cutting head, the slope angle of which starts approximately at the lower point of the cutting head. When driving, the cutting head also cuts the end slope. However, the material cut by the cutting head must be shoveled or pushed forward onto the end slope so that it can be excavated by an excavator in front of the cutting head.

On the other hand, a cutting head is known from DE-OS 23 22 468, which is equipped with a displacement base which runs obliquely from the sole to the head line and which is pressed through the ground in closed driving mode and thereby presses the ground up like a mole. This cutting head is not suitable for an open method of excavation with excavator excavation because it there is no room into which the cut soil is pushed and from which it can be excavated using an excavator.

In contrast, the invention has for its object to form a cutting head of the generic type such that the material cut by the cutting head no longer has to be shoveled or pushed forward onto the end slope in order to be excavated by an excavator.

This object is achieved in that the cutting head is provided on its upper casing part with an excavation opening through which the cut material can be cleared directly from the cutting head by an excavation device. The previous shoveling or pushing work and the equipment and personnel required for this can be omitted.

Particularly favorable employment relationships are created when the width of the excavation opening is just under the clear trench width and extends over the entire length of the cutting head. The cutting head is preferably provided with a hood that covers the excavation opening and can be detachably attached to the edge of the excavation opening. The cutting head can therefore also be used for the closed design with the hood attached. The exchange of an open cutting head for a closed, or vice versa, is no longer necessary in the case of a changing construction, as occurs in practice, but the cutting head designed according to the invention can be converted easily and quickly.

In order to prevent any groundwater from entering the pre-pressed pipe string, a partition wall is expediently arranged in the cutting head, which is provided with a guide plate starting from the lower surface line at the front end and rising in a wedge shape towards the rear end up to approximately half the diameter.

The invention is shown in the drawing, for example. It shows:
  • 1 is a vertical longitudinal section through a pipe jacking section,
  • 2 shows the subject of FIG. 1 in a view of the front end of the cutting head on a larger scale,
  • 3 shows the object of FIG. 2 in a longitudinal section,
  • Fig. 4 is a hood associated with the cutting head of Fig. 2 in a front view
  • Fig. 5 shows the subject of Fig. 4 in a middle longitudinal section.

In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, a plurality of concrete pipes 1 are pressed forward from a press pit 8 by means of a hydraulic jacking device 9 on the bottom of a trench 3, the controllable cutting head 2 located at the front end cutting the unexposed part of the trench 3. The press pit 9 can be equipped in the usual way with a pre-press rail 10 and an abutment 11 for the hydraulic jacking device 9. The cutting head 2 is double-walled in the usual way, equipped with control cylinders and lies with the interposition of a pressure ring 7 against the front end of the front concrete pipe 1.

At the head end of the pipe string, in front of the cutting head 2, the trench 3 is excavated by means of a trench excavator or the like. After excavating a suitable profile, the trench walls are secured by sheeting panels 4. Shoring units are preferably used which consist of two shoring panels 4 arranged in parallel and held at the intended distance by expansion elements 5. If a piece of the trench has been excavated with a corresponding width, the shoring unit is inserted with the excavator and, if necessary after further excavation, pressed down to the intended installation depth.

As shown in FIGS. 2 to 4 in particular, the cutting head 2 is provided on its upper casing part with an excavation opening 12, through which the material 6 cut by the cutting head 2 can be lifted directly upwards out of the cutting head 2 by means of an excavation device or an excavator . The excavation opening 12 must therefore be at least large enough that the gripper of the excavation device fits through. In the illustrated embodiment, the width of the excavation opening 12 corresponds to the clear width of the trench 3, and its length extends over the entire length of the cutting head 2, which thus has a trough-shaped shape.

The cutting head 2 is provided with a hood 13 covering the excavation opening 12. This corresponds to the double-walled tubular profile of the cutting head 2 and can be detachably attached to the cutting head 2 at its two lateral edges. 4 and 5, the hood 13 is shown for the sake of simplicity only single-walled; control cylinders can be arranged between the existing double wall, as with the cutting head 2. Storage is used, for example, on the lateral edges of the excavation opening 12, consoles 14, on which there are appropriately designed side legs 15 of the hood 13 support. For releasable attachment, the brackets 14 and side legs 15 z. B. provided with holes 16 for bolts or the like. The cutting head 2 can be used with the hood 13 attached for the closed construction and with the hood 13 removed for the open construction.

In the event that groundwater is present in the trench, its penetration into the pipe string can be prevented by a bulkhead wall 17 which is detachably fastened in the cutting head 2. This is assigned a guide plate 18 which, starting from the lower surface line at the front end of the cutting head 2, rises in a wedge shape towards the bulkhead wall 17 up to approximately half the diameter.
