L'assemblage de verrouillage arrière (1) comprend une paire de supports (3) espacés l'un par rapport à l'autre et fixés sur la face supérieure du ski, lesquels définissent une paire de trous (48) alignés suivant un axe sensiblement parallèle au plan défini par le ski et sensiblement perpendiculaire à la direction longitudinale du ski pour un engagement pivotant avec l'extrémité inférieure d'un organe en forme de tige (49) s'engageant par contact au niveau de son extrémité supérieure avec une zone latérale arrière de la jambe du skieur. La structure est caractérisée en ce qu'un support arrière ou une paire de supports (3) s'attachant au ski à proximité de la partie arrière de l'assemblage de verrouillage arrière (1) l'engage de manière oscillante, tandis qu'à sa partie antérieure l'assemblage de verrouillage arrière (1) s'engage de manière libérable avec la combinaison de supports frontaux et de la pointe de l'organe en forme de tige (49) au moyen d'une paire de crochets mobiles s'engageant de manière libérable avec une paire d'organes de verrouillage, l'engagement et le dégagement entre les crochets mobiles et les organes de verrouillage étant déterminés par la position de l'organe en forme de tige (49).
