Claims (4)

1. A key module comprising a bell-shaped or dome-shaped key body which consists of elastic material and which has an edge which delimits its open side, and comprising a synthetic housing component which at least partially accommodates the key body and into which the key body can be inserted with its closed side leading, and comprising outwards directed projections which are arranged on the key body in the vicinity of its edge and which engage into recesses or pockets which extend transversely to the axis of the key body in the synthetic housing component, characterised in that on the open side (5) of the key body (3) delimiting walls (18) of the synthetic housing component (1) which embrace the projections (12) of the key body (3) are formed only by pivot bodies (17) which are integrally connected to the synthetic housing component (1) via film hinges (16).

A key module as claimed in Claim 1, characterised in that the projections of the key body (3) are formed by a rib (12) which surrounds the key body (3) in the vicinity of its edge (7), and that the synthetic housing component (1) has an inner wall (13) which is adapted to this rib (12) and which is provided with a bearing surface (14) which serves as stop means when the key body (3) is inserted into the synthetic housing component.

A key module as claimed in one of the Claims 1 or 2, characterised in that the pivot bodies (17), which can each be moved in a plane parallel to the axis (4) of the key body (3), are provided with holding hooks (18) which, in a locking position of the pivot bodies (17), assume a parallel position to the bearing surface (14) of the inner wall (13) and in this parallel position are spaced from the bearing surface (14) of the inner wall (13) by a distance corresponding to the thickness of the key body rib (12).
4. A key module as claimed in Claim 3, characterised in that the pivot bodies (17) are provided with projections (19) which can engage behind edges (20) of the synthetic housing component (1) in barbed fashion.
