Definitions
- the area ratio between the cross section of the outlet opening of the accept material discharge nozzle 10 and the ring area of the accept material space 9 is relatively small and is approximately 1:12 here. It can be assumed that values of 1: 8 or 1:10 already produce a reasonably satisfactory result.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a sorter according to the preamble of
Obviously, in order to achieve a damper chamber with the largest possible cross-section, the material inlet and the material outlet were each arranged at the bottom of the sorter housing. The deduction for the overflow, i.e. the sorted-out fraction, is also located at the bottom of the housing. In order not to impair the sorting effect too much, or to achieve a reasonably acceptable sorting effect, one was obviously forced to feed the stock according to FIG. 1 centrally into the inside of the strainer basket, so that the drive shaft for the rotor through the Fabric feed pipe. had to be led. Despite this construction measure, which is already extremely disadvantageous in itself, the disadvantage remains that the sorting effect is not good because of the lower position of the two connections for the inflow and outflow of the overflow. For this reason, attempts have obviously been made to achieve an improvement in this regard by certain cross-sectional ratios of the pipelines or feed and discharge openings mentioned. However, all of these measures cannot satisfy.
The object of the invention is now to design a sorter with a damper chamber so that the sorting effect is not impaired and that even an improved damping behavior can possibly be achieved.
This object is achieved in a sorter of the type mentioned by the features of the characterizing part of
In contrast to FIG. 1 of the known embodiment explained above, a screen space for the accept material lying radially outside of the strainer basket is present here, to which the accept material collecting space adjoins in the axial direction above the strainer basket. The accept outlet then leads away from this accept area. The pulsations caused by the rotating sorting elements first have to spread out in the screen area and partially even out here. The damping behavior can be further improved by means of additional throttle cross sections connected between the sieve space and the accept material space. The rejects collection space or the outlet for the overflow and the material inlet are located at opposite, distant ends of the strainer basket, so that the sorting effect is maximal, as usual.
The invention is explained below with reference to two exemplary embodiments shown in the figures of the drawing.
The sorter shown in FIG. 1 has a
Pulsations that arise in the accept
The area ratio between the cross section of the outlet opening of the accept
It is advantageous to design the nozzle conically to expand outwards.
The
It can also be seen from FIG. 2 where the discharge line 11 'for the overflow is connected in the region of the discharge line for the flow (accepted material) that the required overall height of the sorter is somewhat greater than that of FIG. 1.
The advantage of this integrated damper design is that no additional apparatus is required and that the sorter itself does not experience any increase in diameter, but only requires a little more height. But the design effort is relatively low.
