Vorteilhafterweise läuft die Auftragswalze mit einer 10-20 %igen Geschwindigkeitserhöhung. Gemäß einem weiteren Verfahrensmerkmal wird die Auftragswalze zum Absetzen vom Buchblockrücken mit einer gegenüber der Transportgeschwindigkeit der Buchblocks verringerten mittleren Umlaufgeschwindigkeit angetrieben.The object of the invention is achieved in that in a method for the mechanical application of adhesive to book block spines or the like.
