Description

The invention relates to a weaving machine with a catch mechanism that can be moved in the weft direction.

It is known, for example, from patent specification FR-A-776164 to arrange the catch mechanism so that it can be displaced in the weft direction on a weaving machine in order to be able to adapt its position to the desired weaving width. Depending on the weaving width, for example in a projectile weaving machine the drawer with the guide channel is shortened or lengthened at the same time. Experience has shown that after such a shift of the catch mechanism in the firing direction, the exact correspondence between the guide channel and the brake channel is no longer guaranteed.

The invention has for its object to provide a weaving machine of the type defined, wherein a deviation in the position of the guide channel and brake channel in relation to each other can be corrected in a simple manner after moving the catch mechanism. This object is achieved according to the invention by the features specified in the characterizing part of claim 1. The subclaim relates to an advantageous further development.

  • Fig. 1 ein Teil der Webmaschine gemäss der Erfindung in perspektivischer Darstellung;
  • Fig. 2 der Schnitt 11-11 in Fig. 1;
  • Fig. 3 der Schnitt 111-111 in Fig. 1.
An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is described below with reference to the drawing. It is:
  • Figure 1 shows a part of the loom according to the invention in a perspective view.
  • Figure 2 shows the section 11-11 in Fig. 1.
  • 3 shows the section 111-111 in FIG. 1.

The projectile 5 with a weft thread 5 'has just one Shed 8, formed by the warp threads 9 and 10, leave and has partially penetrated into a brake channel 11 of the catch mechanism 7.

The carriage 6 is exhibited on the main carrier 1 and can be displaced thereon in the weft direction C. For this purpose, a rib 12 of the carriage 6 is guided in a straight line in a groove 13 in the main carrier 1. The carriage 6 carries a U-shaped holder 14, which in turn carries the catch mechanism 7. In the catch mechanism 7 there is a (not visible) known projectile brake which brakes the penetrating projectile 5 in the brake channel 11 and brings it to a standstill. The catch mechanism 7 is adjustable in the horizontal and in the vertical direction transverse to the weft direction 6. For horizontal adjustment, the holder 14 with the catch mechanism 7 can be understood in the horizontal plane on the slide 6. For this purpose, a lower flank 15 of the holder 14 is provided with two horizontal grooves 16 and 17, into each of which a rib 18 or 19 fits on the bottom 20 of the slide 6. The carriage 6 is provided in a front wall 21 with an adjusting screw 22 with an adjusting nut H. One end 23 of the adjusting screw 22 is fastened in a bore 24 in a bottom 25 of the holder 14 and is surrounded by a return spring 26.

For vertical adjustment, the catch mechanism 7 is slidably mounted on the holder 14 in the vertical plane. The catch mechanism 7 is provided with two vertical ribs 35 and 36, each of which fit in a vertical groove 37 or 38 in the bottom 25 of the holder 14. The holder 14 is provided in an upper flank 39 with an adjusting screw 40 with an adjusting nut V. One end 41 of the adjusting screw 40 is fastened in a bore 42 in an upper side 43 of the catch mechanism 7 and is surrounded by a return spring 44.

To align the brake channel 11 of the catching mechanism 7 with the guide channel 4, a measuring profile bar, comparable to an overly long projectile, is first pushed into the guide channel. The carriage 6 is pushed and secured at the correct distance from the guide channel 4. The catch mechanism is then shifted in the horizontal and / or vertical direction by means of the adjusting nuts H and V until the measuring profile rod can slide into the brake channel 11. The longitudinal axis 11 'of the brake channel then coincides with the longitudinal axis of the guide channel 4. When this position is reached, the catch mechanism 7 is fixed on the holder 14 by means of two screws 45. The holder 14 is fixed on the carriage 6 by means of two screws 46.
