Verfahren zur Erwärmung der Raumluft, insbesondere von Wohnungen, unter Einsatz einer fossile Brennstoffe verarbeitenden Wärmequelle, eines Wasser-Wärmespeichers sowie einer Wärmetauscher-Einrichtung im Abgasstrom der Wärmequelle, wobei die Raumluft über den Wärmetauscher im Abgasstrom erwärmt und wobei dem Abgaswärmetauscher ein Abluftwärmetauscher vorgeschaltet ist und die zu erwärmende Außenluft zunächst durch den Abluftwärmetauscher und daraufhin durch den Abgaswärmetauscher geführt und zweistufig erwärmt wird,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Abluft nach Verlassen des für die Außenluft ersten Wärmetauschers in den Brennraum der Wärmequelle eingespeist und mit dem Abgas der Wärmequelle dem für die Außenluft zweiten Wärmetauscher zugeführt und gemeinsam mit diesen Abgasen als Fortluft ausgetragen wird.
