Definitions
- the invention relates to a method according to the preamble of claim 1 and an apparatus for performing this method.
- Such a method is known from DE-PS 25 42 585.
- This document describes a method for producing mineral fiber plates provided with a pattern or ornament.
- a non-woven fabric is formed from a fiber suspension consisting of mineral fibers, fillers, binders, such as glue, and water on an endlessly circulating sieve belt, and is then shaped and dewatered on a dewatering section. The nonwoven fabric is then passed through a drying section.

- the mineral fiber boards are thus structured only to the extent that their surface is provided with patterns or ornaments. Recesses through the plates cannot therefore be achieved with this method.
- mineral fiber boards are also required as grid boards, i.e. as boards that have relatively large recesses.
- Such plates are, for example, the so-called wide web plates, which have a thickness approximately in the range between 20 and 70 mm and whose intersecting webs have a width of approximately 25 to 70 mm. The clear width between the webs is up to 150 mm. It has so far not been possible to produce such wide web plates from mineral fibers, since the fragility of the material does not allow the areas between the webs to be punched out. - Fig. L shows a mineral fiber board 1, such as is produced for example by the method of DE-PS 25 42 585.
- a fiber fleece was thus first formed on an endlessly circulating sieve belt from a fiber suspension consisting of mineral fibers, fillers, binders and water. Then this nonwoven was dewatered and dried. The shaping, pressing and dewatering was carried out by an endlessly rotating organ corresponding to the sieve belt and at the same time the surface of the mineral fiber plate thus produced was provided with a pattern, namely with intersecting grooves 2. Then the mineral fiber plate 1 was transferred to the part of the device shown in FIG.

- the cutting blades themselves are very thin and have a thickness of preferably 0.5 to 1, 5 mm.
- the bracket 3 is movable perpendicular to the surface of the mineral fiber board 1. The cutting blades 4 rigidly attached to the holder 3 penetrate the mineral fiber plate 1 when the holder 3 moves downward and separate square areas 5 with rounded corners from these.
- the grid plate produced in this way thus consists only of crossing webs 6.
- a further holder 9 is provided which can be moved with the holder 3 and can also be displaced relative to the latter perpendicular to the surface of the mineral fiber plate 1.
- the holder 9 carries rigidly attached plungers 10, one of which projects into one of the cutting knives 4. After the cutting knives 4 have completely penetrated the mineral fiber plate 1 and have been pulled out of it again, the holder 9 is moved downwards alone, so that the plunger 10 ejects the areas separated from the mineral fiber plate 1 downwards
- Bracket 9 moves upward, so that the plunger 10 come out of the mineral fiber plate 1 again.
- the mineral fiber grid plate produced in this way can then be provided with a coating, for example a coat of paint.
- the mineral fiber plate 1 is only slightly stressed by the cutting process, so that there is no risk of damage. Even with a plate with a relatively large thickness of 70mm you get perfect grid plates.
- the ridges 6 have a preferred width of 25-7 0 mm.
- the clear width of the areas 5 between the webs is preferably up to 150 mm.
- the grooves 5 on one side of the grid plate result in the elevations 11 surrounding them. These increase the height of the recesses in the grid plate, which, for example, improves the sound-absorbing properties of this plate.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method according to the preamble of
Such a method is known from DE-PS 25 42 585. This document describes a method for producing mineral fiber plates provided with a pattern or ornament. A non-woven fabric is formed from a fiber suspension consisting of mineral fibers, fillers, binders, such as glue, and water on an endlessly circulating sieve belt, and is then shaped and dewatered on a dewatering section. The nonwoven fabric is then passed through a drying section. An endlessly circulating organ corresponding to the sieve belt serves for shaping, pressing and dewatering the nonwoven as well as for simultaneous application of a pattern or ornament on its surface. In the known method, the mineral fiber boards are thus structured only to the extent that their surface is provided with patterns or ornaments. Recesses through the plates cannot therefore be achieved with this method. It is also known from the cited document. To provide mineral fiber boards with needles or perforations on or on the visible side. These needles or perforations are primarily used for sound absorption. After drying, they are introduced into the finished mineral fiber board. However, these perforations have only a small diameter, so that there is no risk that the mineral fiber plates, which are brittle per se, will be damaged when the perforations are made.
However, mineral fiber boards are also required as grid boards, i.e. as boards that have relatively large recesses. Such plates are, for example, the so-called wide web plates, which have a thickness approximately in the range between 20 and 70 mm and whose intersecting webs have a width of approximately 25 to 70 mm. The clear width between the webs is up to 150 mm. It has so far not been possible to produce such wide web plates from mineral fibers, since the fragility of the material does not allow the areas between the webs to be punched out. So far, it has not been possible to make mineral fiber grid plates using the wet process to manufacture.
It is therefore the object of the present invention to provide a method for producing mineral fiber boards after the wet process, with which it is possible to design the boards as grid plates without fear of mechanical damage to these boards.
This object is achieved by the features listed in the characterizing part of
The method according to the invention thus serves for the production of mineral fiber boards after the wet process, in which a non-woven fabric is formed from a fiber suspension consisting of mineral fibers, additives and water on an endlessly circulating sieve belt and is shaped and dewatered on a dewatering section, whereupon the nonwoven fabric is passed through a drying section . For the production of grid plates, the areas of the mineral fiber plates to be removed are cut out of the dry plate by means of a thin cutting knife that forms a closed cutting line that runs parallel to the plate surface and that is movable perpendicular to the plate surface. For this purpose, a cutting knife with a thickness of approximately 0.5 to 0.7 mm is preferably used for plate thicknesses of up to 25 mm and of approximately 0.7 to 1.5 mm for plate thicknesses of more than 25 mm.
The cut-out areas are advantageously only ejected from the mineral fiber plate after the cutting knife has been withdrawn.
In a suitable device for carrying out the method, the cutting knives are firmly attached to a first holder which can be moved perpendicularly to the surface of the mineral fiber plate to be cut. Plungers can be arranged within the cutting knives relative to these plungers, which can be moved perpendicular to the surface of the mineral fiber plate, for ejecting the separated plate regions. Here, the plungers are advantageously fixedly attached to a second holder that can be moved perpendicular to the surface of the mineral fiber plate to be cut and relative to the first holder. Furthermore, the cutting knives can be surrounded by counter-pressure elements which are arranged on the first holder in a resilient manner and relatively displaceable in the cutting direction and rest firmly on the remaining areas of the mineral fiber plate during the cutting process.

Fig. L shows a
Fig. 1 shows a plate-
The grid plate produced in this way thus consists only of
On the
Anschließend wird dieTo eject the
With the described method, smooth cutting edges are obtained without burr formation. The
The
