Abstract

The hair brush, particularly for styling wet hair, comprises an oblong handle (2), a bristle shaft (3) with bristles (6) set all round over the entire length. A sleeve (4) has openings (5) enclosing the bristle shaft. The sleeve is firmly connected to the handle, so that the bristle shaft which is twisted wire core (8) is axially displaceable in the sleeve. In the retracted position drawn back to the handle the bristles lie in the inner cavity (17) of the sleeve. When the core is pushed forwards, the bristles project out through the openings.

Description

Die Hülse läßt sich in Axialrichtung des Borstenträgers verschieben, wodurch die Borsten bei bestimmten Hülsenstellungen durch die in der Hülse vorgesehenen Durchgangsöffnungen hindurchragen und in einer anderen Stellung sich Im Inneren der Hülse befinden. Zweck dieser bekannten Konstruktion ist es, die Bürste leichter aus der Locke lösen zu können, indem die Borsten in das Innere der Hülse zurückgezogen werden und somit dem Haar keinen Widerstand mehr entgegensetzen. Die bekannte Föhnbürste läßt jedoch ein exaktes Arbeiten nicht zu. Zum Versenken der Borsten in den Hülseninnenraum muß die Hülse über einen relativ langen Weg verschoben werden. Dadurch wird auch die Locke mit verschoben, wodurch die Gefahr besteht, daß der die Locke bildende Haarverband gelöst oder zumindest soweit gelockert wird, daß die Locke keinen festen Zusammenhalt mehr bildet. Mit der erfindungsgemäßen Haarbürste ist ein besonders einfaches und wirksames Arbeiten möglich.
