Abstract
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Druckwerkszylinder für Offset-Rotationsdruckmaschinen mit einer verschleiß-und korrosionsbeständigen Mantelfläche, die galvanisch aufgebracht wird, derart, daß nach der Beschichtung keine mechanische Nacharbeit erforderlich ist und eine hohe Korrosionsbeständigkeit erreicht wird, wobei im Bereich des Zylinderkanals ein weicher Übergang den Kanalstoß reduziert. Derartige Beschichtungen der Druckwerkszylinder nach einem galvanischen Verfahren sind an sich bekannt und dienen im Wesentlichen dazu, die Oberfläche des Zylinders vor Korrosion zu schützen. Hierzu dient normalerweise eine Chromschicht, die sodann auf genaue Maß- und Formgenauigkeit geschliffen werden muß. Der Nachteil der bekannten Ausführung ist in einem hohen Fertigungsaufwand und damit in hohen Kosten zu sehen, ohne daß z.B. eine gewünschte Oberflächenstruktur der Chromschicht erreicht werden kann. Auch entsteht beim Schleifen an den Übergängen am Zylinderkanal eine sichtbare Kante, die zu Störungen in der Abwicklung der einzelnen Zylinder gegeneinander führen kann.Such coatings of the printing couple cylinders by a galvanic process are known per se and essentially serve to protect the surface of the cylinder from corrosion. Die Aufgabe wird gemäß den kennzeichnenden Merkmalen des Anspruchs 1 gelöst. Mit dieser Lösung wird ein Nacharbeiten des Zylinders vermieden und eine hohe Korrosionsbeständigkeit durch eine schlag- und stoßunempfindliche Schicht erreicht. Beim Abwickeln der Zylinder gegeneinander wird ein weicher Übergang beim Durchgang des Kanals gewährleistet und durch die Struktur der Oberfläche des Zylindermantels wird ein Verrutschen der Plattenunterlage verhindert, ohne daß die gute Reinigungsmöglichkeit der Zylindermantelfläche beeinträchtigt ist.The object is achieved according to the characterizing features of claim 1. Der Druckwerkszylinder 1 mit seinen Übergängen 2 am Zylinderkanal 3 weist eine Beschichtung 4 an seiner Mantelfläche 5 auf, die als Grundschicht aus einer Nickelschicht 6 besteht und als Deckschicht aus einer Chromschicht 7. Nach dem Sandstrahlen der Zylindermantelfläche werden beide Schichten auf galvanischem Wege aufgebracht, wobei der Zylinderdurchmesser und die Übergänge 2 am Zylinderkanal 3 so ausgeführt sind, daß nach Aufbringen der beiden Schichten der Zylinderkörper das Fertigmaß aufweist,ohne daß eine Nachbearbeitung erforderlich ist.
