Description

The invention relates to a space structure consisting of a support frame and wall elements used in these, in particular a receiving space for ventilation units, in which the support frame consists of horizontal and vertical corner and possibly intermediate legs, which are formed by hollow box-shaped profiles (leg profiles) and on their abutting ends are connected to one another by connecting elements, which connecting elements consist of a cube-shaped middle piece and attached outer pieces, onto which the leg profiles are attached in their longitudinal direction.

Support frames of this type are already known (DE-Gbm 7604278). In these known support frames, the connecting pieces consist of essentially rectangular elements which can be screwed onto the various flat-shaped sides of the cube-shaped central piece, as required by the arrangement within the frame construction. Hollow box-shaped leg profiles with a rectangular or square cross section can be plugged onto the connecting pieces. In this known support frame, however, rectangular or square leg profiles of the same design with essentially flat outer surfaces can only be used in cross section. In many cases, however, there is a need to use leg profiles of different cross-sectional shapes in one and the same spatial construction, e.g. B. depending on whether the leg profiles are arranged on an outer corner of the room structure or its support frame or not.

The invention is therefore based on the object to be able to use leg profiles in at least two different designs, adapted to their different arrangement options in the spatial construction with structurally identical connecting pieces, and also to design them such that the wall elements can be attached to the outside of the leg profiles by one to allow easy assembly. In addition, the construction of the support frame elements with little different components should be possible and allow a simple structure of the support frame. This is achieved according to the invention in a frame construction of the type mentioned at the outset in that the leg profiles have cross-sections at at least two of their corners with recesses receiving the edges of adjacent wall elements and that the connecting pieces each have an approximately angular shape in the parallel cross-section, the outer corner of which forms the outside corner a design of the leg profile and the inside of which forms the inside corner is adapted to the other design of the leg profile and that the connecting pieces can be connected to the cube-shaped center piece in such a way that either their outside corner or their inside corner lies outside the frame.

Expedient developments of this embodiment of the generic frame construction according to the invention result from the subclaims which are set out in claim 1. The further design of the cube-shaped center pieces and the connecting pieces attached to them, as well as the leg profiles pushed or attached to them, together with the wall elements, leads to a spatial construction that is extremely variable despite a very small number of different components, i.e. has different dimensions and shapes can. For all of these design variations, connecting pieces in only one and the same shape and dimension are required, while only two different designs of leg profiles and middle pieces are required. The corners of the wall elements engaging in the corner recesses of the cube-shaped center pieces allow the wall elements with their entire circumferential edge to lie absolutely tightly against the support frame, which is particularly important in the case of receiving spaces for ventilation systems.

In the embodiment shown in the drawing, it is a spatial construction as it is used as a receiving space for ventilation units in ventilation systems of larger residential, office or industrial buildings. This spatial construction consists of a support frame 1 which consists of legs 2 located at the corners of the frame and intermediate legs 3 and in which wall elements 4 are used.

In the exemplary embodiment shown in the drawing, the wall elements formed from two sheet metal half-shells with insulating material 7 and stiffening strips 8 filled therebetween have a flange 9 running around their edges, with which they are applied and fastened to corresponding stop surfaces of the support frame from the outside of the room structure (Fig. 3).

The corner and intermediate legs 2, 3 of the supporting frame, to which the wall elements are connected, consist essentially of leg profiles 10, 11 having the shape of hollow box profiles, which are open at a cross-sectional corner 12, while rectangular recesses formed on the two adjacent cross-sectional corners Recesses 13 are provided, in which the wall elements 4 with their connecting flanges 9 can be inserted, depending on the position of the leg profiles in the spatial construction. The leg profiles 10, which extend on the outer corners of the room structure, have a bevel 14 at their fourth corner opposite the open corner 12, while the other leg profiles 11 at this point have a recess 15 formed by a profile indentation, square in profile cross section, which is also for receiving of the connecting flange 9 of the wall element attached to this leg profile.

In Fig. 4 of the drawing is shown in an exploded view how the leg profiles 10, 11 of the two different types are arranged in the frame structure and connected to each other. To connect them, connecting elements are used, each of which is formed from a cube-shaped central piece 16 or 17 and a number of connecting pieces 18 screwed to its sides. The number of connection pieces 18 screwed to each middle piece 16, 17 corresponds to the number of leg profiles 10, 11 connected to the middle piece. In the illustrated embodiment, middle pieces 16, 17 are present in two different embodiments. The center pieces 16 located on the lateral outer corners of the room structure have bevels 19 which are not present in the center pieces 17 arranged elsewhere in the room structure.

The leg profiles 10, 11 to be connected to one another are pushed onto the connecting pieces 18 screwed onto the middle pieces 16, 17. So that these leg profiles 10, 11 have an exact fit on the connecting pieces 18, the connecting pieces have a rectangular cross-sectional shape. The cross-sectional length of the angle legs 20 of the connecting pieces, measured from the inner corner 21 thereof, corresponds to the depth of the square corner recess 15 of the connected leg profile 11. The opposite outer corner of the connecting pieces is provided with a bevel 22 which corresponds to the bevel 14 of the leg profile 10 of the other type .

Depending on whether a leg profile 10 with the bevel 14 or a leg profile 11 with the square corner recess 15 is pushed onto the center pieces 16, 17, the connecting piece 18 serving for this purpose is either with its inner corner inward (see FIG. 4 on the left) or outward ( see Fig. 4 on the right) screwed to the center piece 16, 17. For this purpose, the connecting pieces are each provided with two stepped bores 23 for receiving fastening screws 24, which can be screwed into threaded holes 25 on the side faces of the middle pieces 16, 17. The part of this bore which has the larger cross section serves to receive the screw head.

The connecting pieces 18 are dimensioned and screwed to the middle piece 16 such that their side or end faces directed outward from the frame are set back by the wall thickness of the leg profile 10, 11 pushed onto them relative to the aligned outer faces of the middle piece 16, 17. It is hereby achieved that the outer surface of the pushed-on leg profile is aligned with the outer surfaces of the center piece which are aligned. The heel formed by this reset simultaneously serves alsanschlagflächefürda g front end of the leg sections 10,. 11

The connecting pieces 18 are tapered in the opposite direction to the push-on direction of the leg profiles (see the angle shown in FIG. 1), which considerably facilitates the pushing on of these profiles on the connecting pieces without endangering their tight fit on the connecting pieces.

Since the flanges 9 running around the edges of the wall elements 4, which lie in the corner recesses 13, 15 of the leg profiles, are not cut out at the corners of the wall elements, the cube-shaped middle pieces 16, 17 are not inclined to accommodate them provided corners with corner recesses 26, 27, 30, which are dimensioned such that they are aligned with the corner recesses 13, 15 of the leg profiles connected to them. This enables the wall elements with their edge flanges to be fully sealed against the support frame of the room structure.

The dimensions of the corner protrusions 26, 27, 30 on the center pieces 16, 17 are just as different from one another as the protrusions 13, 15 of the leg profiles 10, 11. However, the rectangular cross-sectional dimension of these protrusions 13, 15, 26, 27 is always such that that the wall elements inserted into them from the outside with their flanges come to rest flush with the outer sides of the center pieces 16, 17 with their wall outer surface.

In the illustrated in Fig. 4 In design, the center piece 16 has a corner bevel 19, in the area of which there is no corner recess 26, 27, 30. In the center piece 17 shown in FIG. 5 of the other design without beveling at the corners, however, recesses 26, 27 30 are provided. On each side surface of the cube-shaped central pieces, two threaded bores 25 are provided in a corresponding arrangement for receiving the screws 24 for fastening the connecting pieces 18 which can be screwed onto these sides of the cube piece. The arrangement of these threaded bores 25 is such that the connecting pieces can only be screwed onto the central piece in the respectively required or desired position.

The wall elements 4 are fastened to the leg profiles 10, 11 by means of clamping strips 28, which are formed by a U-profile with legs of different lengths. The shorter leg of the terminal block lies on the fastening flange 9 of the wall element, while the longer leg abuts the bottom of the recess 13, 15 of the leg profile. With a fastening flange 9, and a set including sealing strip 29 passing through mounting screw 31, the clamping bar - 28 bolted to the leg profile.

The depth of the recesses 13, 15 measured in the direction of the thickness of the wall elements to be attached to the leg profiles is the same in every possible connection position on the leg profile 10, i. that is, it corresponds to half the thickness of the wall elements and, in addition, half the thickness of the fastening flange 9 and the thickness of the sealing strip 29. This also applies to the depth of the recesses 26, 27 of the center pieces which are aligned therewith. The width of the respective protrusion 13, 15, 26, 27, which extends perpendicularly thereto, can be different in size. In the case of the square recesses 15, 27 provided for receiving fastening flanges 9, it is larger than in the case of the rectangular recesses 13, 26.

As shown in FIG. 8, the frame legs of the spatial construction formed by leg profiles 10, 11 can additionally be supported against one another by stiffening profiles 32, which can be fastened to the leg profiles 10, 11 or to other stiffening profiles 32 via fastening angles 33.
