Description

The above invention relates to a lighting body which consists of several components and is only joined during its assembly.

The term lighting body is intended to mean ceiling lights, table lamps, floor lamps and wall lights. Usually, lighting bodies, such as lamps, consist of a three-dimensional body, e.g. has the shape of a bell or a similar structure which is opened downwards and which, for example, accommodates a light bulb and it is provided that the bell-shaped body remains open on its underside or is closed off by a glass plate or a transparent plastic plate.

Lamps of this type, which can take on a wide variety of shapes, have the disadvantage, however, that the bell-shaped body takes up considerable space for its packaging, storage and shipping. Furthermore, a three-dimensional body of this type has a fixed, rigid shape that usually cannot be changed.

From US-A-3,600,572 a lampshade is known, which consists of a sheet-shaped component that is punched along a spiral, and after hanging this component forms a lampshade, whose helically arranged bands or strips form the screen. In order to give this structure the shape of a cage-like lampshade and to fix the strips or strips arranged in the manner of a coil, the known lampshade is intended to connect the individual strips of the coil by additional stiffening brackets which keep the strips apart hold.

From DE-A-1.049.807 a lampshade has become known which consists of a rigid translucent cylinder which is surrounded by an ornamental covering which consists of strips of material arranged side by side, which are connected at their two ends and firmly on the top of the rigid , translucent cylinder are arranged. By moving upwards and / or twisting the lower trim edge, it is possible to give the trim panel different geometric shapes. The possibility of a lampshade by simply hanging an originally plate-shaped component, as well as the union of the This prior art does not show how to form a lampshade with a plate-shaped deflector.

The lampshade, consisting of pre-cut paper or foil material, is placed around a tubular body. The individual strips of the pre-punched material can be given different shapes by different folding processes. In this embodiment, it is necessary to provide a support tube around which the lampshade produced by a folding and folding process is placed.

The US-A-4,117,532 a lampshade can be removed, which consists of perforated or punched material. A plastic layer is connected to the inside of the perforated material. A conventional, rigid lampshade with considerable space for shipping is created.

It is an object of the above invention to avoid the disadvantages of the prior art and to provide a lighting body which consists of various components which can be joined together and which, before the lamp is assembled, have essentially only the two-dimensional shape and only after the lamp has been assembled into one three-dimensional form are convertible, and the three-dimensional form of the The screen is easy to change and adaptable to different design requirements.

To solve this problem, a lighting fixture with a lampshade consisting of thin, sheet-like and flexible material is proposed, which has a number of elongated incisions or punchings which are designed such that they allow the sheet-like material to deform so that a three-dimensional Form arises, where the leaf-shaped lampshade has a self-contained, punch-free edge, and wherein the lampshade is assigned a plate-shaped deflector, which consists of a glass plate or a transparent plastic plate, and is connected to the lampshade along the edge thereof via a peripheral profile .

Further advantages of the invention can be found in the following description, the subclaims and the drawings.

The subject matter of the invention is described in more detail with the aid of a few exemplary embodiments and illustrated in the accompanying drawings.

Fig. 1 shows a plan view of a disk-shaped round component that can be used both as a reflector and as a deflector.

Fig. 4 shows a top view of another, writing-like component.

Fig. 5 zeigt das scheibenfoermige Bauteil in perspektivischer Ansicht waehrend des Montagevorganges der Lampe.5 shows the disk-shaped component in a perspective view during the assembly process of the lamp.

Fig. 6 shows a top view of a further detail of a plate-shaped component which is provided with slot-like punchings.

As can be seen from FIG. 1, the basic component for the manufacture of a reflector 1, or a deflector 2 or a lampshade in general, consists of a material, generally designated 3, which is flexible and sheet-like. Rolled metal foils or foils made of plastic are particularly suitable for solving the problems according to the invention. 1, the component 3 has the shape of a circular disk; however, square, rectangular or polygonal shapes can of course also be used. As further shown in FIG. 1 can be seen, the sheet-shaped component 3 has punchings 4, which are arranged, for example, along concentric circular lines around the center 5 of the component 3. In the illustration according to FIG. 1, the incisions or stampings 4 are arranged in such a way that stampings are always arranged on a concentric ring, offset with respect to the concentric rings adjacent to the stampings, in such a way that the ends of two stampings that are directed towards one another are always in come to lie in the middle of a punched-out area which is arranged on a concentric circular ring lying next to it.

If component 3 is used as reflector 1, i.e. used as a lampshade, it also has a central opening 6 to accommodate the incandescent lamp with its mounting base. On its outer circumference, component 3 has a non-stamped edge 7, the meaning of which will be explained in more detail later. The special arrangement of the punchings 4 can be seen in detail in FIG. It is not only provided that the punches 4 on a circular ring are arranged offset with respect to the punches on adjacent circular rings, but it has also proven to be advantageous that the end of each punching ends in a small circular hole 8. This avoids an undesirable risk of tearing in the vicinity of the ribs 9, which separate the individual stampings 4 from one another.

Selbstverstaendlich kann der Deflektor 2 auch unter Zuhilfenahme einer steifen Platte, z.B. einer Glasplatte oder einer durchsichtigen Kunststoffplatte hergestellt werden.3 may be an example of a mounted lighting fixture can be removed, which consists of a reflector 1, which has a deflector 2 on its underside. A receptacle base 10 for one or more light bulbs 11 is arranged in the opening 6 of the reflector 1. Due to its own weight and the provision of the punched sections 4, the mounted reflector 1 takes on a bell-shaped form, the non-punched peripheral edge 7 tending to line up in a horizontal position. This creates the possibility of attaching a deflector 2 which is connected to the reflector 1 with the aid of an elastic circumferential profile 12, which is made, for example, of rubber or plastic. The deflector 2 can of course also be produced with the aid of a rigid plate, for example a glass plate or a transparent plastic plate.

The bell-shaped shape that the reflector 1 or lampshade assumes after its assembly essentially depends on the elasticity factors of the component 1. This elasticity can be influenced by a suitable selection of materials that have a corresponding modulus of elasticity. Furthermore, changes in the basic elasticity can be achieved by changing the thickness of the sheet-like components 1 and 2. In the case of metallic materials, thicknesses of approximately 0.3-0.5 mm have proven to be advantageous, whereas in the case of plastics, an approximate thickness of 0.5-1.0 mm has to be provided. However, this information is only to be regarded as approximate information, which are not intended to lead to any restrictions of the invention. Another possibility of being able to carry out the shape of components 1 and 2 after the lighting body has been installed is to selectively vary the shape and combination of the stampings, incisions and slots, and the small end bores. The punches and slots can be produced by mechanical processing, for example using a punching process, using a suitably designed punching or cutting tool. The incisions can, however, also be made with the aid of electro-galvanic processes, which are particularly recommended if the cutting pattern is very complex and has to be made in very thin metal sheets.

Der Fig. 4 kann in einer Draufsicht ein weiteres Bauteil entnommen werden, das als Reflektor bzw. als Deflektor Verwendung finden kann, quadratische Grundform aufweist und mit einer Anzahl von groesseren Einschnitten vershen ist, die entlang konzentrischen Ringlinien angeordnet sind.4 shows a top view of a further component which can be used as a reflector or a deflector, has a square basic shape and is provided with a number of larger incisions which are arranged along concentric ring lines.

In Fig. 6 ist in einer Ansicht ein Detail einer Blechfolie dargestellt, die geradlinig, parallel angeordnete Stanzungen aufweist, die gegeneinander versetzt sind, in der Art, dass stets zwei benachbarte Stanzungen in der Mitte einer parallel dazwischen liegenden Einstanzung angeordndet sind.6 shows a view of a detail of a sheet metal foil which has straight, parallel punchings which are offset from one another, in such a way that always two adjacent punchings are arranged in the middle of a parallel punching.

Der Fig. 6 kann der besondere Effekt dieser Einstanzungen entnommen werden, d.h. je nach verwendetem Material und Belastung oeffnen sich die Einstanzungen in Funktion der in Richtung des Pfeiles f auf die Metallfolie einwirkenden Kraft, wobei sich diese Einstanzungen allmaehlich weiter oeffnen und linsenfoermige Freiraeume schaffen, die den Lichtdurchgang ermoeglichen.6 shows the special effect of these punchings, i.e. Depending on the material and load used, the stamped openings open as a function of the force acting on the metal foil in the direction of arrow f, these stamped openings gradually opening further and creating lens-shaped free spaces which allow the light to pass through.
