Description

The invention relates to a guide device for weft insertion elements for weaving machines, in particular for rapier projectile weaving machines, with guide teeth which have a guide support, a guide hook and a tooth base, which form a guide channel for the entry organs.

The invention further relates to a method for producing the guide device.

Despite the tight tolerances observed in the manufacture of guide teeth for guide devices, their guide channel is not exactly cylindrical, so that the path for the projectile is somewhat irregular. This leads to rapid wear of the guide teeth as well as the entry organs. The resulting material abrasion and the possible formation of burrs on the guide teeth result in reduced fabric quality.

The invention has for its object to provide a guide device of the type defined, the guide form a precisely cylindrical guide channel, which has a relatively small game compared to the entry member. This object is achieved according to the invention by the features specified in the characterizing part of claim 1. The subclaims relate to advantageous further developments.

Guide teeth are known (DE-PS-1 801 043), the guide support and guide hooks having a flexible point in the area of the transition to the tooth base, but they serve to guide the movements of the guide teeth caused by the forces caused by the entry element dampen.

According to FIG. 1, a guide tooth 1 of a projectile guide device has a guide support 2, a guide hook 3 and a tooth base 4 that is common to both. The tooth base 4 is divided by an elongated recess 5. The recess 5 extends to just below a tooth pocket 6 of the guide tooth, so that only a little material remains there and a flexible point 7 has arisen between the guide support 2 and the guide hook 3. The guide opening for the projectile is labeled 8. The guide tooth is usually a stamped product.

Die Projektilführungsvorrichtung wird wie folgt hergestellt. The projectile guide device is manufactured as follows.

The device is normally constructed from unit sections which are fastened next to one another on the loading beam of the weaving machine. A number of guide teeth required for a section is lined up with the interposition of spacers according to FIG. 2 on a measuring profile rod 15, the cross section 15 'of which is larger by the amount of play between the guide teeth and the projectile used later for the insertion of the weft thread. The whole is then brought into a clamping device 16. In the clamping device, the guide teeth are brought into contact with the measuring profile rod 15 without play by pressure blocks 17, 18 and 19 under the pressure of springs 20, 21 and 22. This is made possible by the flexible point 7, which serves as an adjustment point for the position and dimensions of the guide openings 8 of the guide teeth. The guide teeth are now cast in a known manner with a resin to form a block 23. After the resin has hardened, the measuring profile rod 15 is removed. It is also possible to first mount the guide teeth side by side in the clamping device and then to push the measuring profile rod 15 into its guide openings.

In the embodiment according to FIG. 3, a guide tooth 25 consists of a guide support 26 and a guide hook 27, which are connected to one another by a tooth base 28. The tooth base 28 contains a recess 29 which is a continuation of a tooth bag 30. Since the recess 29 extends deep into the tooth base 28, an easily deformable point 31 has arisen between the guide support 26 and the guide hook 27. The guide opening is designated 32.

Der Keil 34 schliesst dabei die Zahnsäcke 30 gegen die Aussparungen 29 ab.To produce a section for a projectile guiding device, the required number of guiding teeth is lined up on a measuring profile rod 33 with the interposition of spacers. The guide supports and the guide hooks are brought into contact with the measuring profile rod 33 without play in the pressure device already described. The guide opening 32 is fixed by a wedge 34 (FIG. 4) which is introduced via the tooth sack 30 of each tooth. Then the guide teeth are cast with resin. The wedge 34 closes the tooth sacks 30 against the cutouts 29.

The guide teeth according to FIGS. 1, 2 and 3 are intended for projectile guiding devices with so-called full guiding teeth. The following embodiments are intended for projectile guiding devices with so-called half teeth. Every guide tooth exists here from individual guide supports and guide hooks, which form the guide tooth in pairs.

In the embodiment according to FIG. 5, a guide support 35 and a guide hook 36 are provided in a tooth base 37 with a bore 38 or 39 and are lined up by means of this bore on a round rod 40 with the interposition of spacers. After being lined up, a measuring profile rod 41 is pushed into the guide channel 42, the guide supports and guide hooks rotating clockwise or counterclockwise, depending on their position, around the round rod 40 until they all abut the measuring profile rod. The guide section can be located in a clamping device, as described for FIG. 2. The assembly is then encapsulated with resin. In this embodiment, the adjustment point between guide supports and guide hooks is formed by the bores 38 and 39 and the round rod 40.

In the embodiment according to FIG. 6, a guide support 45 and a guide hook 46 are each provided in a foot region 47 with a circular recess 48 or 49, which extends to the underside of the foot with a trapezoid-like part 50 or 51. The guide supports and guide hooks are plugged onto a round rod 52 in the manner of a snap connection, whereupon a measuring profile rod 53 is pushed into the guide channel 54. Then the guide teeth are cast around.

In the embodiment according to FIG. 7, a guide support 55 is provided in the foot region with a circular projection 56 which fits into a circular recess 57 of a guide hook 58, so that a pivot point is formed in the form of a joint 59. The guide supports and guide hooks assembled in this way are inserted into a clamping device with the interposition of spacers. A measuring profile rod 60 is now pushed into the guide channel 61, so that the guide supports and guide hooks at the joint 59 rotate and come into contact with the measuring profile rod without play. Then the resin is cast again.

Der Steg 72 wirkt in der Weise, dass die Führungsöffnung 71, nachdem sie durch Verformung der biegsamen Stelle 70 justiert worden ist, durch den dabei entsprechend verformten Steg fixiert ist.8 shows an embodiment in which the guide tooth consists of a guide support 65 and a guide hook 66, which are connected to one another by a tooth base 67. The tooth base contains an elongated recess 68 which extends to just below a tooth sack 69, so that there is a flexible point 70 between the guide supports 65 and the guide hook 66. The guide opening for the projectile is labeled 71. The recess 68 is bridged with a narrow, arched web 72, which is relatively easy to stretch. The web 72 acts in such a way that the guide opening 71, after it has been adjusted by deforming the flexible point 70, is fixed by the web deformed accordingly.

Although the invention is described for rapier projectile weaving machines, it can of course also be used for other types of weaving machines, e.g. B. for belt gripper weaving machines.
