Abstract

On décrit un appareil et un procédé destiné à faciliter le meulage des verres de lunettes, comportant un dispositif de mesure du contour du drageoir des montures et un proces­ seur, le dispositif de mesure comportant des organes de maintien (3, 5) de la monture par le contour non palpé ainsi qu'un doigt de palpage (15) qui suit le contour à mesurer de la monture fixe, en permettant la mesure du pont nasal. Le processeur permet de traiter les données du palpage et des données variables cas par cas et peut asservir un dispositif de commande qui permet de déplacer le verre à déborder par rapport à une meule classique dans un plan perpendicu­ laire à l'axe de rotation du verre, ainsi qu'un dispositif de commande du déplacement relatif du verre par rapport à ladite meule, dans une direction parallèle à l'axe de rotation du verre.
