Abstract

1. An etui which covering, the etui consisting of a polygonal top part, preferably a quadrangular one, and a bottom part with a main surface and side walls, of which at least one part has the covering, ribs projecting in a relief-like manner being disposed at the corners of the top part and/or of the bottom part, said ribs serving as a side limit of the covering in the region of a side wall of the respective part and covering over the corresponding cut edge of the covering in this region, and the covering being composed of a flat cut-out of carton, synthetic material, leather, textiles, imitation leather or a similar foil, characterized in that the cut-out forming the covering (2) is provided for cladding all the faces (5, 6) of the respective etui part (3, 4), is produced in one piece and has a central main surface (9) for covering over the main surface (5) of the top part (3) and/or of the bottom part (4) as well as flaps (10) which are attached thereto and correspond in number, shape and size to the side walls (6) of the respective etui part (3, 4).
