Der vorliegenden Erfindung liegt deshalb der Grundgedanke zugrunde, eine Vorrichtung zu entwickeln, die nach Möglichkeit die folgenden Forderungen erfüllen sollte:

1. Potentielle Täter sollten durch das Wissen um eine existierende wirksame Abschreckungswaffe und der damit verbundenen erhöhten Gefahr einer Entdeckung der Tat davon abgehalten werden, die Tat überhaupt erst zu begehen.
2. Versucht ein Täter eine Vergewaltigung, so soll er aufgrund der Abwehrwaffe von seinem Vorhaben rechtzeitig ablassen, indem ihm signalisiert wird, daß seine Entdeckung sehr wahrscheinlich ist, wenn er von seinem Vorhaben nicht abläßt.
3. Kommt es dennoch zu einer Vergewaltigung, so soll der Täter schnell gefunden und überführt werden können.
4. Eine entsprechende Vorrichtung sollte jede Frau ständig bei sich führen können, damit sie im Ernstfall tatsächlich wirksam werden kann. Die Vorrichtung muß deshalb unauffällig und leicht zu handhaben sein. Sie muß selbst im größten Handgemenge noch bedient werden können und sie darf nicht ohne weiteres aus der Hand fallen oder entrissen werden können.

Der Ring selbst kann aus einem Kunststoffmaterial oder einem sonstigen zerbrechbaren Material bestehen und ist in Form eines Ringhohlraumes ausgebildet. Der Ringhohl-.. raum selbst ist mit einer Flüssigkeit gefüllt, die bei Kontakt mit der Haut eines Menschen eine vorübergehende Verfärbung der Haut bewirkt. Es sollte jedoch ein solches Mittel verwandt werden, das eine Verfärbung der Haut über einen verhältnismäßig längeren Zeitraum von einigen Tagen bewirkt. Derartige Mittel sind ansich bekannt und,insbesondere der Polizei bekannt. Der Fingerring 1 hat eine Sollbruchstelle 2. Diese Sollbruchstelle ist in Form einer Verengung oder Einkerbung ausgebildet und sollte derart ausgestaltet sein, daß der Ring vorzugsweise nicht bei einem Druck in radialer Richtung auf den Ring sondern in axialer Richtung auf den Ring zerbricht und die in dem Ring enthaltene Flüssigkeit freisetzt. Es kann deshalb auch zweckmäßig sein, das chemische Mittel in Form einer Substanz vorzusehen, die erst dann, wenn sie in Kontakt mit der Außenatmosphäre kommt entweder aufgrund des Kontaktes mit dem Luftsauerstoff oder aufgrund des äußeren erniedrigten Druckes beginnt aus dem Ring auszuschäumen. Auf diese Weise bildet sich an der Bruchstelle des Ringes immer wieder neuer Schaum, der dort haften bleibt, bis er durch Kontakt mit einem anderen Gegenstand auf diesen übergeht. In diesem Fall kann sodann neuer Schaum aus dem Ring nachgebildet werden. Der Ring 11 sollte wiederum aus einem zerbrechlichen Material bestehen, wobei sich Kunststoff als besonders geeignet erwiesen hat. Zum öffnen des Ringes in der Gefahrensituation ist an dem Ring wenigstens eine Perle in Form etwa einer Schweißperle 12 angebracht. Selbstverständlich können auch mehrere derartige Perlen um den Außenumfang des Ringes herum vorgesehen sein. Soll der Ring aufgerissen werden, so wird ein kurzer Druck oder Zug auf die Schmelzperle 12 ausgeübt, die mit dem Material des Ringes fest verbunden ist. Der Druck oder Zug auf die Perle 12 bewirkt ein Aufreißen des Ringes etwa wie bei dem öffnen einer Bierdose oder einer Ampulle.FIG. 2 shows a further embodiment of a finger ring which is designed in the form of an annular cavity.
