In neuerer Zeit haben bedruckte Karten aus Kunststoff weite Verbreitung als Kredit-, Geldsubstrat-und Ausweiskarten gefunden, welche eine Dienstleistung vermitteln, einen Wert repräsentieren oder ein Zutrittsrecht beinhalten. Die den Träger identifizierende Teilinformation sowie die Merkmale, welche die Karte einer bestimmten Organisation oder einem System zuordnen, sind in Form von Aufdrucken, Prägungen, Stanzungen oder Magnet-, Laser- oder holographischer Informationen auf der Karte angeordnet. Dabei ist es nun relativ einfach, die äussere Erscheinung solcher Karten nachzubilden. Es ist einleuchtend, dass damit die Möglichkeit des Missbrauches solcher Karten, welche mehr und mehr den Bargeldverkehr ersetzen, besteht, ohne dass hierfür ein allzu grosser Aufwand nötig ist. Dabei hat insbesondere das Publikum keine Möglichkeit, sich von der Echtheit einer solchen Karte zu überzeugen.In recent times, printed cards made of plastic have found widespread use as credit, money substrate and identification cards which convey a service, represent a value or contain an access right. Es ist auch nicht erwünscht, solche Strukturen direkt auf die Kartenaussenflächen aufzubringen, weil sie dann unerlaubten Manipulationen offen stehen und durch Abnutzung sowie Verschmutzung ihre Wirkung einbüssen. Entlang der mit der Reliefstruktur versehenen Grenzfläche der beiden Halbteile findet dabei mindestens in den unbedruckten Be-reichen eine Polymerisation der Kunststoffmoleküle statt, so dass eine molekulare Verbindung entsteht, die ein Auftrennen verunmöglicht. Auf die inneren Grenzflächen sind nun graphische Muster aufgedruckt, wie noch zu erläutern ist, die zusammen mit der Reliefstruktur visuelle Sicherheitskennzeichen bilden. Die Oberflächen der zusammengefügten Karte 1 sind plan und können in herkömmlicher Weise bedruckt oder beschichtet werden. Ein Ausführungsbeispiel,welches dies illustriert, ist in den Fig. 2 und 3 gezeigt. In Fig. 2 ist eine linienartig aufgebaute Reliefstruktur einem Halbteil 3 gezeigt. Diese Struktur ist mit einem Farbstreifen 8 bedruckt, der in senkrechter Aufsicht geradlinig verläuft. Der so ausgestaltete Halbteil 3 wird mit einem gegengleichen, transparenten Halbteil (nicht (dargestellt) zu einer Karte vereinigt, von welcher in Fig. 3 schematisch ein Abschnitt dargestellt ist. In Fig. 3a ist die senkrechte Durchsicht dargestellt. Erkennbar ist einerseits das gerade Linienraster 8. Da der Halbteil 3 aus einem thermoplastischen Kunststoff mit erhöhtem Lichtabsorptionskoeffizienten im Vergleich zum anderen, gegengleichen Halbteil besteht, ist die Lichtabsorption in der Durchsicht an den Stellen 4 grösserer (gemittelter) Dicke grösser bzw. an den Stellen 5 kleinerer (gemittelter) Dicke kleiner als an den restlichen Stellen. Neben dem Linienraster 8 ist damit in der Durchsicht eine verdunktelte Stelle 4, die von helleren Stellen 5 umgeben ist, zu sehen. Wird die Karte nun in schräger Aufsicht betrachtet, wie dies in Fig. 3b gezeigt ist, so erscheint das Linienmuster 8 leicht gewellt und die verdunktelten bzw. aufgehellten Stellen 4 und 5 verschwinden. Damit entsteht ein Doppeleffekt von Aufsichtskennzeichnung und Durchsichtskennzeichnung. In Fig. 4 ist eine Variante dieser Ausgestaltung im Schnitt gezeigt. Die Grenzfläche zwischen den beiden Halbteilen 2 und 3 weist jeweils eine linienrasterförmige Reliefstruktur auf. Diese wird auf einem der Halbteile mit einem Druckmuster versehen, dessen Erscheinung sich in der Aufsicht und in der Durchsicht je nach dem Betrachtungswinkel ändert. Diese Variante beruht auf einer Reliefstruktur, welche mindestens angenähert eine Rechteckform 9 aufweist. Die Seitenflanken sowie Talsohlen sind dabei mit einer Farbschicht 10 versehen, während die Kuppen frei von Farbe bleiben. In der senkrechten Aufsicht sind die Farbflächen 10 im wesentlichen als Striche wahrnehmbar, während sie sich in schräger Aufsicht zu einer durchgehenden Farbfläche zusanmenschliessen. Werden Farben mit kleiner Lichtdurchlässigkeit verwendet, so wird in der Durchsicht je nach Durchsichtswinkel eine unterschiedliche Helligkeit festgestellt. In Fig. 6 ist schliesslich eine Ausführung dargestellt, deren Reliefstruktur im Querschnitt im wesentlichen eine Dreiecksform 11 besitzt. Die eine Flanke 12 ist mit einer Farbschicht 12 versehen, während die andere Flanke frei von Farbe ist. Wiederum wird je nach Aufsichtswinkel ein verändertes Erscheinungsbild des Druckmusters sichtbar, und zwar ändernd zwischen blossem Strichmuster (Pfeil links in Fig. 6) bis zu einer durchgehenden Farbfläche (Pfeil rechts in Fig. 6). In der Durchsicht verhält sich die wahrnehmbare Helligkeit asymmetrisch, falls eine Farbe mit geringer Lichtdurchlässigkeit verwendet wird. Wird die Karte ausgehend von der senkrechten Durchsicht auf die eine Seite geneigt, so nimmt die Helligkeit zu, bei Neigung auf die andere Seite nimmt sie dagegen ab.
