Abstract

1. Process for reinforcing bituminous coatings in which holes are made in a bituminous intermediate coating, a bituminous cover coating is applied to the intermediate coating and the holes are filled with a hardening material, characterised therein that the holes (2) are made in the intermediate coating by means of an impression or vibratory procedure just after application and while still warm and filled with a filler (3) which sets with a greater degree of hardness than the bituminous agglutinant, and that, after the holes (2) have been filled, the cover coating (4) is applied or, before this, a further intermediate coating (6) or more than one further intermediate coating is applied.
