Abstract
Description
The innovation relates to a propellant charge container according to the preamble of protection claim 1.
Propellant containers are used to hold the propellant powder and are used in particular in artillery weapons, in which the projectile and propellant charge are loaded into the barrel separately.
Conventional propellant charge containers, which are known, for example, from the Rheinmetall weapons technical paperback, 5th edition 1980, page 516, were used at most for the transport of propellant powder portioned into different loads, which must be removed from the transport container before the loading process.
From FR-A-1396901 a propellant charge container according to the preamble of claim 1 is known, which essentially consists of a sleeve and a base piece firmly screwed to the sleeve. The propellant charge is located in the sleeve and is traversed in the longitudinal direction by an ignition channel and is designed as an empty ignition chamber. A fire charge is arranged in the base piece.
From US-A-2977015 a closure device for bottles is known, in which the upper bottle closure, as well as the lid closure located above, have openings which can be rotated relative to one another.
From US-A-3120185 it is known to provide the end face of propellant charge containers with a central recess. A recess arranged at the wing-side end of the projectile then engages in this recess in a form-fitting manner.
The innovation is based on the object of specifying a novel, combustible propellant charge container which, on the one hand, simplifies the charging process and, moreover, is particularly advantageous to be labored.
This object is achieved by the invention specified in protection claim 1. Advantageous embodiments of the invention emerge from the subclaims. The new propellant charge container enables considerable savings in logistics, since an additional container for transport purposes can be saved. The special design of the propellant charge container also opens up the possibility of automating the loading process, as a result of which the firing sequence can be increased. Finally, the new propellant charge container enables savings in laboratory work, since filling and closing the propellant charge container does not require complex work steps or special tools.
Dabei zeigt :
- Fig. 1 : in perspektivischer Darstellung ein erstes Ausführungsbeispiel des neuartigen Treibladungsbehälters ;
- Fig. 2: ein weiteres Ausführungsbeispiel des Treibladungsbehälters.
- Fig. 1: a perspective view of a first embodiment of the novel propellant charge container;
- Fig. 2: another embodiment of the propellant charge container.
The
The
In a further exemplary embodiment of the invention (FIG. 2), a
By simply twisting the
Due to their compact construction and identical external dimensions, the
