Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a stack stop on the sheet feeder of printing machines according to the preamble of claim 1.
In order to get a precisely fitting print and a safe run when processing paper sheets in printing presses, it is necessary to guide the sheet in the running and lateral directions against printing and to align it with it. For this purpose, a stack stop is provided on the front side of the paper stack facing the working machine, with which the uppermost layers of the sheet stack in particular are aligned.
The uppermost paper sheet is removed from the stacking system with a swiveling suction system and fed to a pair of transport rollers, which transport the sheet at a constant peripheral speed, which is greater than the peripheral speed of the printing cylinder, to the paper stop in the printing cylinder. The paper stop can be provided in the gripper system of the printing cylinder. If the sheet lies against it with a slight bulge and is held securely by the grippers, the transport rollers stop the sheet from being transported. To do this, they are separated from each other, controlled by a cam.
When processing different paper qualities, especially with thicker papers, undesirably large bulges occur, which can lead to strong noises and damage to the leading edge of the paper due to the stop in the printing cylinder. The thicker paper, when it is fed through the suction system to the transport rollers, is caught earlier than thinner sheets, so that it hits the stop in the impression cylinder harder and thus causes a greater noise. Even at the end of the transport, when the transport rollers separate, the thicker paper becomes a longer time and thus a longer way than the thinner one.
In addition to this inevitable phenomenon, there are other factors such as differences in the suction and loosening of the sheets by the suction system, transfer to the transport rollers and slippage between the transport rollers, which can increase the different transport times. All of these phenomena can lead to an amplification of the noise, the so-called paper bang.
The object of the invention is to be able to change with simple means the path between the stack stop of the paper stack and the stop in the printing cylinder gripper so that apierqualität for each P and strength of the transport path and thus the bunching of the sheet can be optimally adjusted.
The object is achieved with the features of the characterizing part of claim 1, the position of the stacking stop being able to be changed by simply actuating the pivoting lever in such a way that the sheet is fed optimally against the sheet stops of the gripper and thus with minimal noise safe gripping of the sheet is guaranteed by the gripper. Another advantage is that by swiveling the stack stop different paper thicknesses and slip effects in the means of transport can be compensated.
The subclaims characterize advantageous embodiments of the solution reproduced in claim 1, so that the advantage is achieved using the simplest means to create an easy-to-use device which, in particular in the case of small printing machines, corresponds to practical requirements.
- Fig. 1 eine Seitenansicht einer Stapelanlage,
- Fig. 2 eine Teil- Draufsicht auf die Stapelanlage.

- Fig. 2 is a partial plan view of the stacking system.
Nachdem sich der Bogen leicht gebauscht hat und sicher von den Greifern 3 gehalten wird, erfolgt ein voneinander Abheben des Transportwalzenpaares 5 über eine nicht dargestellte Steuereinrichtung.FIG. 1 shows part of a known offset printing unit with a printing cylinder 1 and a rubber cylinder 2, which cooperates with a plate cylinder (not shown), which in turn is assigned a ink dampening unit in a known manner. The printing cylinder 1 is provided with grippers 3 for transporting the sheets, which have sheet stops 4. The
The sheets of paper to be fed are removed from the
The
On a
In the exemplary embodiment shown, the
In Figur 2 ist eine Draufsicht insbesondere auf den Stapelanschlag 9 mit dem Schwenkhebel 14 gezeigt, wobei die seitlichen Anschläge 20 für den Bogenstapel 8 nicht dargestellt sind.FIG. 2 shows a plan view, in particular of the
