Aus der DE-OS 30 31 820 ist ein solches Druckwerk bekannt. Dieses Druckwerk ist für den Einsatz in einem Handetikettiergerät bestimmt, in dem es Selbstklebeetiketten mit einem Preisaufdruck o. dgl. versieht, die dann mittels des Etikettiergeräts an einem Warenartikel angebracht werden können. Zur Erzielung unterschiedlicher Preisaufdrucke müssen die einzelnen Typenträger im Druckwerk so verstellt werden, daß die gewünschten Drucktypen in die Druckposition gelangen. Diese Einstellung kann durch ein geeignetes Verdrehen und Verschieben der Einstellwelle mittels des Betätigungsknopfs erreicht werden. Der Betätigungsknopf steht seitlich am Gehäuse des Druckwerks vor, und er ragt im speziell genannten Anwendungsfall auch seitlich an dem Gehäuse des Handetikettiergeräts vor, damit die Einstellung der Drucktypen ohne Herausnehmen des Druckwerks aus dem Gerätegehäuse vorgenommen werden kann. Die der Kontrolle der jeweils durchzuführenden Einstellvorgänge dienende Anzeigevorrichtung ist mit dem den Betätigungsknopf tragenden Endabschnitt der Einstellwelle über einen Steg verbunden, der mittels einer Nabe den Endabschnitt umgibt, dann radial verläuft und an seinem Ende die parallel zur Achse der Einstellwelle verlaufende Anzeigevorrichtung trägt. Um dem Benutzer den Verstellvorgang der Typenträger zu erleichtern, ist es günstig, wenn der Betätigungsknopf möglichst gut zugänglich ist und weit seitlich aus dem Gehäuse heraussteht. Das weite Herausstehen ist allerdings bei der Handhabung des Etikettiergeräts nachteilig, da die Bedienungsperson leicht mit dem Betätigungsknopf an Gegenstände anstoßen oder irgendwo hängenbleiben -kann, was unter Umständen sogar zu einer Beschädigung des Druckwerks führen kann. Eine Verringerung des Überstandes des Betätigungsknopfs erschwert die Bedienung nicht unerheblich, da es dann vorkommen kann, daß die Bedienungsperson mit den den Bedienungsknopf erfassenden Fingern bei der durchzuführenden Drehbewegung an dem die Anzeigevorrichtung tragenden Steg hängenbleibt. Dies könnte nur bei einem Anfassen des Betätigungsknopfs mit den Fingerspitzen vermieden werden, was allerdings das Verdrehen erschwert. Bei dem bekannten Druckwerk wird zur Verbesserung der Bedienungsfreundlichkeit ein axial auf der Einstellwelle verschiebbarer Betätigungsknopf verwendet, der nach Durchführung der Einstellvorgänge wieder in eine weniger weit vorstehende Position verschoben werden kann. Die Verwendung des relativ zur Einstellwelle verschiebbaren Betätigungsknopfs ist allerdings ungünstig im Hinblick auf die eindeutige Zuordnung zwischen der Position des Betätigungsknopfs und der position der Anzeigevorrichtung. Der Stift 70 verhindert in dieser Position der Einstellwelle eine Betätigung des Etikettiergeräts, die mit einem Absenken des Druckwerks verbunden ist.
