Due to the volume of the fancy yarns 7 and 8, the corresponding weft threads are incorporated into the base fabric 2 by floating over several warp threads, so that they do not constrict the fancy yarns 7 and 8, but only hold them on the top side of the base fabric 2 in the area of the pile-free area 6.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a pile fabric with a base fabric and a pile pile integrated in places, so that the pile fabric has pile-free areas.
In known pile fabrics of this type, the pile-free areas essentially serve to emphasize the pile-bearing areas without being an essential element of the fabric surface.
The invention has for its object to provide a pile fabric with pile-free areas, in which the pile-free areas significantly influence the appearance of the pile fabric, so that a pile fabric with a novel appearance and character is obtained.
This object is achieved in that the pile fabric contains additional threads at least in the area of the pile-free areas, which significantly influence its appearance. In the area of the pile-free areas, special threads are provided on the base fabric which, in combination with the pile-free areas, give the base fabric an overall appearance and character which are previously unknown and atypical for pile fabrics. Such pile fabrics according to the invention can be used in particular in the area of home textiles or outer clothing.
The additional special threads are preferably arranged on the base fabric in such a way that they run in the warp or weft direction along the corresponding non-pile sections of the pile fabric. The additional special threads are preferably integrated in places in the base fabric, for example by guiding individual weft or *) over the additional threads. * ) Warp threads The additional special threads are expediently parallel to the warp threads of the base fabric or also to the weft threads. In this way, they can be most advantageously and inexpensively connected to the base fabric in the area of pile-free areas or sections.
The additional threads attached to the base fabric in the area of the pile-free areas consist, for example, of voluminous yarn, for example knitting yarn, chenille, cords, ribbons or other fancy yarn. Through a special integration of these threads in the base fabric, they emerge particularly well.
Vorzugsweise ist die bzw. die Blattfeine/ Schußfaden-Dichtevim Bereich der florfreien Stellen des Florgewebes geringer (gröber) als im Bereich der flortragenden StellenAccording to a further feature of the invention, the delta fine or weft thread density is different in the area of the pile-free areas than in the area of the pile-bearing areas. The leaf fine / weft density v is preferably lower (coarser) in the area of the pile-free areas of the pile fabric than in the area of the pile-bearing areas
The special threads provided according to the invention can be used, for example, to achieve a knitted look in pile-free longitudinal and / or transverse stripes, but with the quality characteristic of a fabric. The new look can also be influenced by selecting appropriate fancy yarns, by binding these additional threads and / or the density of the arrangement of these threads in the warp and / or weft direction.
In the drawing, a section of a pile fabric web designed according to the invention is shown schematically.
The pile fabric web 1 has a
In the drawing, the
In the pile-
