Claims (7)

1. Use of lubricants based on polyols for the operation of two-cycle, four-cycle and rotational piston engines with fuels, which contain alcohol(s) and/or nitroalkanes, in particular nitromethane and/or propyleneoxide, whereby the lubricant is either added to the fuel and/or is present in a separate lubricating cycle and whereby the polyol(s) consist of more than 40 mol-% of propylene oxide units and contain an additive, which contains as components at least one thermally stable detergent free of ash, which consists of a nitrogen containing organic compound, at least one anti-abrasive additive and at least one anti-rust and at least one anti-corrosive agent.
2. Use of lubricants according to claim 1, characterized in that the fuel contains 1-15 parts per volume of the polyol(s) per 100 parts per volume of fuel.
3. Use of lubricants according to claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the polyol(s) consist of at least 75 mol-% of propylene oxide units.
4. Use of lubricants according to claims 1-3, characterized in that the lubricants contain a blend of polyols of different viscosity consisting each of more than 40 mol-% of propylene oxide units.
5. Use of lubricants according to claims 1-4, characterized in that the lubricants contain a blend of polyols of different viscosity consisting each of at least 75 mol-% of propylene oxide units.
6. Use of lubricants according to claims 1-5, characterized in that they in addition contain alcohols.
7. Use of lubricants according to claims 1-6, characterized in that the alcohols added are C1-C6- alcohols.
