Description

The invention relates to a carding plate according to the preamble of claim 1.

A card is understood to mean any type of card that can have at least one carding plate according to the invention, such as revolving card, card, etc.

A carding plate, to which the invention relates, can be arranged immovably on the card or can also form a rod-shaped cover of the revolving cover of a revolving card. In the case of an immovable arrangement of the carding plate, this can generally be expediently arranged between the licker-in and revolving cover or the like, or also between the revolving cover or the like and the customer, or in some cases also below the reel of the card between the customer and liner or, depending on the card elsewhere.

A carding plate, to which the invention relates, is arranged on the card so that its longitudinal direction extends parallel to the axis of rotation of the spool. The tooth field of the carding plate then extends approximately over the width of its fitting measured in the direction of the axis of rotation of the drum, i. H. the working width of the drum. The fitting of the drum is understood to be its hook or teeth set.

A carding plate or a plurality of carding plates to which the invention relates can be arranged on a card.

The carding plate to which the invention relates is therefore not a rotating roller of the card, but a carding plate that does not rotate. It is arranged immovably on the card or is a slowly moving cover of the moving cover of a moving card.

In order to attach the row of disks, which forms a tooth field of a carding plate of known type, to the carrier, it is known to provide the disks with shoulders at their longitudinal ends and to attach them to the carrier by means of U-shaped clips or Z-shaped brackets, each such clips or brackets with one outer leg rests on a shoulder of the row of panes formed by shoulders of the panes and is attached to the carrier with its other outer leg (cf. for example GB-A-2100 305). However, this fastening of the disks already reduces the working width of the tooth field because of the shoulders of the toothed disks and thus impairs the carding work. The attachment of a row of disks to the carrier is also time-consuming and always requires subsequent precise adjustment of the disks on the carrier and regrinding of the teeth of the tooth field after the clips or holding brackets have been attached. Also, replacing the washers of such a tooth field with new washers is time-consuming.

It is an object of the invention to provide a carding plate of the type mentioned at the outset which enables the disks of the row of disks to be mounted on the carrier quickly and easily, as far as possible without loss of the working width of the tooth field.

This object is achieved by a carding plate according to claim 1.

By combining the slices of a tooth field into a package or a plurality of packages that are aligned with one another and spaced one behind the other, the individual package being held together by the at least one clamping device and by means of clamping means on the carrier that engage in the second channel or the second channels of the package is stretched, no width of this tooth field is lost by the clamping means, so that a tooth field extending over its width or a plurality of tooth fields arranged one behind the other can be provided on the carrier, thereby improving the carding work for a given width of the carrier.

In the case of a plurality of tooth fields, it is in particular also possible to have them connected to one another in the rotational direction of the reel of the card. This is particularly expedient in the case of a carding plate which can be immovably arranged on the card, since this further improves the carding work, reduces the dust development during carding, the risk of fiber congestion is also reduced or completely eliminated, and dust extraction, which is otherwise necessary in many cases, can be done without disadvantage dispense. In fact, in the past, when several immovable tooth fields were arranged one after the other, a number of carding plates corresponding to the number of tooth fields, each of which had a single tooth field, was arranged one behind the other. However, the gaps between the carding plates created strong air currents, which caused a lot of dust and impaired the carding work.

In the case of a plurality of tooth fields of the carding plate, it can advantageously be provided that the rows of disks forming them touch each other or almost touch each other to compensate for manufacturing tolerances and easier displacement of the rows of disks in the longitudinal direction.

Because the panes of a package are held together by the at least one tensioning device before they are applied to the carrier, they can already be connected to the package in the manufacturing plant, which makes high precision possible without problems. The package can then be carried on the carrier. only be fastened in the spinning mill. This combination of the disks into one or more packages, each forming a structural unit, enables easy, quick and easy replacement of the Disks of a package against new disks by exchanging a corresponding package of new disks for the old package. It often happens that only a limited section of a row of disks has disks to be replaced and the remaining disks of this row of disks are still fully functional, ie do not have to be replaced. In order to reduce the cost and simplify the replacement, it can be provided that the row of disks is formed by a plurality of packages aligned with one another. If a limited area of the disks of the row of disks is replaced, it is generally sufficient to replace only one or two of these packages and not to replace the remaining packages.

The invention also makes it possible in a simple manner to arrange the toothed disks of a package parallel to one another at an acute angle to the longitudinal direction of the carrier, i. H. to provide an acute-angled straightening angle. In fact, during the manufacture of the packages, the panes can be arranged in any desired directional angle with respect to the longitudinal direction of the package, so that the package has a parallelogram shape and the corner angles of this parallelogram remain due to the frictional forces between the many panes of such a package even when the carrier is removed receive separate transport of the package and also receive when mounting the package on the carrier. For this purpose, it is only necessary to press the panes of the package sufficiently strongly together using the at least one clamping device.

It is also an advantage that, if the carding plate has a plurality of tooth fields, the straightening angles of the disks of each tooth field can be provided differently from tooth field to tooth field in order to ensure that the tooth field arrangement of this card plate is free of aisles.

There is also a very good hold of the individual package on the carrier, since the backs of the panes can be pressed firmly against the support surface of the carrier.

Since the clamping means engage in the indentations of the panes of the package, they can also equalize the contact pressure of the package with the carrier. This can expediently be achieved in that the clamping means have a profile rod penetrating the second channel of the package and having threaded bores extending transversely to its longitudinal direction, into which tensioning screws supporting the carrier are screwed. If you tighten these clamping screws with torque wrenches, there is very even contact pressure over the length of the package to the carrier. This design of the clamping means is also structurally particularly simple and enables the package to be mounted on the carrier in a very simple manner and also makes it particularly easy to replace a package with a new package.

The invention also enables greater precision in the position of the disks than when they are fastened by means of Z-shaped brackets or clips, which at least in many cases also makes it unnecessary to readjust and / or regrind the tooth field after mounting on the carrier. Among others For this purpose it can preferably be provided that the second channel of the package has a dovetail-shaped cross section and the clamping means have at least one profile bar with a dovetail-shaped cross section or cross-sectional area that bears in a form-fitting manner on the inclined surfaces of the second channel forming the undercut surfaces. As a result, a very precise self-adjustment of the package can take place when it is clamped on the carrier and the disks in the package are very precise.

Instead of providing the indentations of the panes of a package with dovetail profiles forming the second channel, in some cases they can also have other suitable profiles, for example a T-shaped profile, in which case a rod with a rectangular profile can then be inserted, for example. preferably without side play or with little side play which rests in these indentations on the two shoulders of the disks formed by the T-profile and by means of tensioning screws or the like which are supported on the support and screwed into it in the direction of the support for holding the package on the Carrier is pulled.

In general, it is sufficient if the packet has a single second channel. The indentations of the disks forming this second channel and aligned with one another can expediently be of identical design. The recesses of the disks which form a first channel and are in alignment with one another can also be of identical design.

For simple manufacture of the panes, it is expedient if each pane has a constant thickness. It is useful if all toothed lock washers in a row of discs have the same thickness among themselves. Since the toothed disks should be spaced from one another, in this case, apart from the toothed disks, spacer disks can also form the package, with at least one spacer disk being interposed between two toothed disks.

The toothed disks and the spacer disks can expediently consist of metal, preferably of steel.

It is also possible to design the toothed disks in such a way that their feet are thicker than their toothed areas. Such toothed disks can then be attached directly to one another in the row, that is to say dispensing with spacer disks if the thickness of the feet results in the desired distances between the tooth areas of the adjacent toothed disks.

Although it is generally advantageous and sufficient to provide a single second channel for the package, two or more such second channels may optionally be provided hen, for example, to stretch the package evenly or to increase the precision of its arrangement.

The teeth of the toothed disks can be provided in any suitable manner. If desired, it is also possible for the tooth tips of a toothed disk to be arranged along a geometric circular arc, the radius of which approximately corresponds to the radius of the drum.

Advantageously, it can be provided that the package has a total of two first channels, which can be arranged to be symmetrical to the longitudinal center plane of the package, preferably in the vicinity of the two long sides of the package. However, it is also conceivable that in some cases a single first channel can be used, in particular if this is approximately in the longitudinal median plane of the package. In some cases, more than two first channels can also be provided if particularly high rigidity of the package is to be achieved by the tensioning devices penetrating the first channels.

The recesses of the disks forming the first channel can preferably be holes.

If the carding element has a plurality of tooth fields, which can preferably be approximately of the same width, one or more of the measures described in claim 10 can expediently be provided, as a result of which the carding work is further improved.

The elongated carding plate 10 shown in Fig. 1 to 4 has a solid, beam-shaped carrier 11 of approximately constant cross-sectional profile made of aluminum or other metal, the longitudinal direction of which, if it is arranged on a card, extends parallel to the axis of rotation of the spool of this card and is arranged immovably on the card. This carrier 11 is very stable so that it does not bend during operation. In this exemplary embodiment, it carries a total of four parallel, approximately equally wide rows of disks 12a-12d, which each form a tooth field 13 and are arranged closely one behind the other in the direction of rotation (arrow A) of the carding drum indicated by dash-dotted lines at 23 in FIG. 2. Each such tooth field 13 is formed by the teeth 17 of the toothed disks 15, spaced apart by spacer disks 16, of a single row 12a-12d of these parallel, flat disks 15, 16 which abut one another with their broad sides.

The disks 15, 16 of each such row of disks 12a-12d are combined to form a single package 21 or more packages aligned with one another, the disks 15, 16 of each package 21 being held together by two clamping devices 19 each.

The individual package 21 consists of a multiplicity of punched disks 15, 16 of equal length, thin, straight rear edges 14, and two types of disks 15, 16 are provided. One type is the toothed disks 15, for example according to FIG. 5, and the other type is toothless spacer disks 16, for example according to FIG. 6. The toothed disks 15 of the individual tooth field 13 are the same among themselves, as are the spacer disks 16. However, the toothed disks 15 of different tooth fields 13 can be designed differently, in particular with regard to the tooth shapes of the tooth heights, the tooth pitches and the number of their teeth 17. The spacer disks 16 of a tooth field 13 can also be of identical design and can be the same or different for all tooth fields 13 , for example, have different thicknesses for at least two tooth fields 13 in order to provide the tooth densities of these tooth fields 13 differently. The tooth density of the tooth field means the number of teeth / unit area. The teeth 17 of the tooth fields 13 can preferably be finer in the drum rotation direction (arrow A) from tooth field 13 to tooth field 13, the tooth densities larger and the tooth heights smaller.

The length of each tooth field 13 corresponds approximately to the working width of the reel of the card in question.

The toothed disks 15 and the spacers 16 can suitably consist of steel.

The toothed disks 15 and spacer disks 16 forming a tooth field 13 are parallel to one another and are perpendicular to the flat surface of the carrier 11 forming a support surface 20 for their straight rear edges 14, but can be arranged at a directional angle a to the longitudinal direction of the tooth field 13, as shown in FIG Fig. 7 is shown on an embodiment of a section of disks shown in sections, so that in this case the outline of the row of disks 12 is parallelogram. In the embodiment of FIG. 1 it is also shown that the Straightening angle a can be arranged from tooth field to tooth field in the opposite direction to the drum rotation direction A, so that in this exemplary embodiment the tooth fields result in a zigzag-shaped arrangement. The straightening angles α can therefore be provided differently from tooth field 13 to tooth field 13, possibly also 90 °, in which case the outline of the tooth field 13 in question is rectangular. The arrangement of a plurality of tooth fields 13 one behind the other, in that different straightening angles a from tooth field 13 to tooth field 13 can be provided, results in an overall tooth field which has no lanes, ie does not have any straight gaps extending over the overall arrangement of tooth fields 13 in the approximate fiber running direction through which fibers can pass undeflected.

Dies verbessert die Kardierarbeit dieser Kardierplatte 10 weiter. This further improves the carding work of this carding plate 10.

The four flat bearing surfaces 20 for the four rows of disks 12a-12d are, as shown in FIG. 2, arranged slightly inclined to one another, such that in this way an adaptation of the tooth fields to the section of the circumference of the drum indicated by dash-dotted lines at 23 is not closer to the rest shown card is carried out, which can be, for example, a revolving card, card or other card. To further adapt these tooth fields to the curvature of the drum fitting, it can further be provided that the tooth tips of the teeth 17 of the individual toothed disk 15 do not lie on a straight line, as shown in FIG. 5, but on a geometric, concave circular arc-shaped curve 23 ', the Radius roughly corresponds to that of the reel 23.

The tooth fields 13 of the carrier 11 can for example 5 have a length of 1 m to 1.50 m, but can also be shorter or longer depending on the card.

In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 3, the row of disks 12a shown is formed by a single, broken package 21 consisting of toothed disks 15 and spacer disks 16, which bear against one another with their broad sides and by two tensioning devices 19, which penetrate the holes 24 of the disks 14, 15 which only one can be seen are firmly pressed together so that this package 21, when it is lifted from the carrier 11, is held together by these tensioning devices 19 and also maintains this cohesion on the carrier 11 and thereby also the overall cohesion of this package 21 the carrier 11 is improved.

Depending on the thickness of the disks 15, 16, this package 21 can consist of several hundred to several thousand disks 15, 16, only a few of which are shown in FIG. 3. A spacer 16 is arranged between each two toothed disks 15. These disks 15, 16 are penetrated by two circular holes 24 (FIGS. 5, 6). which are arranged in the vicinity of the two longitudinal ends of the disc in question. These holes 24 form in the package 21 two aligned rows of holes which form two straight first channels 24 '(FIGS. 3, 7) penetrating the package 21 and each channel 24' is penetrated by a tensioning device 19 which forms a pulling device and passes over it does not protrude outwards. As a result, a plurality of packages having the same disks 15, 16 can optionally be arranged flush with one another to form a row of disks on the carrier 11, which makes it easier to replace worn toothed disks if toothed disks arranged only in one or in some of the packages as a whole need to be replaced.

In this exemplary embodiment, the tensioning device 19 consists of a straight metallic tension rod 26 and a tension screw 27. The tension rod 26 has at one end a frustoconical head 26 ', which extends into the correspondingly enlarged holes 24 of the last three disks 15, 16 Fig. 3 can be seen, here finding an abutment, countersunk engages positively and the clamping screw 27 also has a frustoconical head 27 ', which sinks into the relevant correspondingly enlarged holes 24 of the last two disks 15, 16, also here finding an abutment engages in a form-fitting manner and the entirety of the disks 15, 16 of this row of disks 12a forming a tooth field 13 is screwed together to form the packet 21 in a blind threaded bore of the tension rod 26.

The straight pull rod 26 has a shaft 26 ″ which is circular in cross section and which, with plain bearing play, lies in the holes 24 in the disks 15, 16 which it penetrates.

Each of the rows of disks 12a-12d forms such a package 21, each package 21 being held together by two such tensioning devices 19 which penetrate the first two channels 24 ', and all disks 15, 16 of this package 21 are thereby with their broad sides pressed together. Each such package 21 thus forms a structural unit which is placed on its associated flat surface 20 of the carrier 11 with the straight rear edges 14 of its disks 15, 16. In order to fasten the individual package 21 on the carrier 11 and thereby also press it evenly and firmly against the associated support surface 20 of the carrier 11 and also to adjust it automatically, the close succession of the rows of disks 12a-12d over the full width of the Carrier 11 is to be reached, the following is provided:

In each disc 15, 16 of each package 21, a dovetail-shaped indentation 30, which is open towards the carrier 11, is provided in the center on the underside, all of which have the same design and are aligned with one another in the package 21. These indentations 30 thus form a continuous straight channel 30 ′ (second channel) in the package 21, which extends along the longitudinal center of the package 21 over the full length of the package 21 and has a dovetail-shaped cross section, so that oblique undercut surfaces 31 are formed which form flat undercuts. All second channels 30 'of the packets 21 have the same cross-sectional size and shape. The packets 21 also have approximately the same width with one another, which corresponds to the width of their tooth fields and, for example, can expediently be 3-12 cm.

In the second channel 30 'of each package 21, a solid profile rod 32 is inserted, as shown in FIG. 4, the profile of which consists of a dovetail area and a rectangular area. The cross-section dovetail-shaped head 34 of the profile bar 32 has oblique, flat side flanks 33, which together enclose the same angle as the oblique, plane undercuts 31 of the second channel 30 'of the package 21, the width of the flat end face of the head 34 of the profile bar 32 being somewhat is smaller than the width of the flat bottom of the second channel 30 '. As a result, the profile rod 32 can be inserted into the second channel 30 'without any problems. It extends at least over the length of the second channel 30 ', so that it positively contacts all the disks 15, 16 of the package 21 in question on the undercut surfaces 31 of the second channel 30'.

The profile rod 32 protrudes through the opening 41 facing the carrier 11 of the second channel 30 'with its base part 35, which is rectangular in cross section, into a longitudinal groove 36, which leads on the longitudinal sides thereof, in the relevant contact surface 20 of the carrier 11 with little sliding bearing side play. In this foot part 35, threaded holes 37 are let in at regular intervals, into which clamping screws 39 are screwed, which are sunk in holes 40 of the carrier 11 and whose heads are supported on heels of these holes 40 via washers. By turning these screws 39, the profile rod 32 is moved in the direction of the carrier 11 to penetrate deeper into the associated longitudinal groove 36, and as a result he firmly pulls all the disks 15, 16 of this packet 21 onto the relevant bearing surface 20, so that all the disks 15, 16 of this package 21 are firmly and firmly pressed with considerable force on the bearing surface 20 of this support 11. These screws 39 and the profile rod 32 thus together form clamping means which, by the interaction of the dovetail profiles of the channel 30 'and the profile rod 32, precisely align and adjust the package 21 and its washers 15, 16 when it is clamped onto the support surface 20 of the carrier 11 . As a result, at least in many cases there is no need to readjust the package 21 on the carrier, and likewise to regrind the teeth 17.

As shown in FIG. 1, the tooth fields 13 of the four rows of disks 12a-12b according to FIGS. 1 and 2 preferably adjoin one another without a gap, so that an uninterrupted overall tooth field is formed which is formed by the four packets 21. The width of the carrier 11 is optimally used for the tooth fields 13, since they cover the full width of the carrier. This carding plate has numerous advantages, e.g. B. particularly good carding work, low dust development, there is no risk of clogging of the fitting of this carding plate formed by the rows of disks 12a-12d, simple, quick and accurate assembly of the packets 21, easy replacement of the packets 21, etc.

Fewer or more than four rows of disks can also be arranged on the carrier 11.

In the lowest limit case, a single row of disks can be arranged on the carrier 11. Such a carding plate with a single tooth field can also be arranged immovably or can also form a cover of a revolving cover of a revolving flat card. The working width of the then single tooth field can also be equal to the width of the carrier, whereby the carding work is improved for a given width of the carrier.

The width of the carrier 11, measured in the direction of drum rotation, and thus the width of the tooth field arrangement, if it has several tooth fields, can be 6 to 25 cm, depending on the application and number of tooth fields, in some cases also larger or smaller. If the carding plate as the cover of a revolving cover has a single tooth field, this width can in general advantageously be approximately 3-4 cm and, if the carding plate, on the other hand, is immovably arranged on the card - having a single tooth field, its width can in general be expedient approx. 6-12 cm. These dimensions can also be exceeded or undershot.
