Claims (4)

1. Hochofen mit einer zu kühlenden Wand und Kühlplatten (1), von denen jede durch ein Eisengußelement im wesentlichen parallelepipedischer Form gebildet ist, in welchem Längsrohre (3; 103) für den Umlauf eines Kühlfluids eingebettet sind, die sich vertikal längs der zu kühlenden Wand parallel zueinander erstrecken und auf der gleichen Seite (2b; 102b) der Platte in einer Schutzscheide (4a; 4b) münden, wobei die Seite (2a; 102a) der Platte, die derjenigen, in der die Kühlrohre münden, abgekehrt ist, gerippt ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Rippung durch Reihen von in Querrichtung in regelmäßigen Abständen liegenden Buckeln (8; 108) gebildet ist, wobei die Buckel einer jeden Reihe (8; 108) vorspringende Außenflächen (9; 109) bestimmen, welche ungefähr ausgerichtete und sich vertikal erstreckende Zylinderabschnitte aufweisen, deren Achsen im wesentlichen mit den Achsen der Längsrohre (3; 103) zusammenfallen.
2. Hochofen nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Buckel (8; 108) längs deren Querseiten durch abgefaste (10; 110) Flächen begrenzt sind, wobei die einander gegenüberstehenden Flächen (10; 110) von zwei benachbarten Buckeln eine Querrinne mit V-förmigem Profil bestimmen.
3. Hochofen nach irgendeinem der Ansprüche 1 und 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Eintritte und Austritte bestimmter Rohre (103(2)), (103(4)) bezüglich der Längsabschnitte dieser Rohre seitlich versetzt sind.
4. Hochofen nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß diese Eintritte und Austritte in eine Zone im Bereich einer jeden der Ecken der Platte gruppiert sind.
