Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for stamping flat objects of different sizes and thicknesses, in particular postal items, which are arranged vertically or approximately vertically on a feed table, removed individually from the feed table, guided past a stamp in succession and transported to a storage table, the applied and deposited ones Objects are arranged one behind the other in planes parallel to one another and the feed and deposit table in the direction perpendicular to these planes, and the objects are removed perpendicular to this direction from the feed table and fed to the deposit table.
- This force is achieved in the device mentioned at the beginning for stamping flat objects of different sizes and thicknesses according to the invention in that the objects can be placed on the feed table with their front edge in the direction of transport during the occasional removal and in that their transport path between the feed and the tray table is arranged horizontally.
- This shows a device for stamping flat objects, in particular mail items of different sizes and thicknesses, in a top view.
- the objects 1 to be stamped are stacked on a feed table 2.
- the objects 1 are arranged vertically and rest with an edge on a stop bar 3.
- the objects 1 are located on a system conveyor belt 4 and are held in their vertical position by a system stacking plate 5.
- the stacking plate 5 is fastened to a joint 6 which can be displaced on the stop bar 3.
- the system stacking plate lies with its own weight on the conveyor belt 4 and is always pressed by this against the objects 1 located on the feed table 2.
- the conveyor belt 4 can be moved in the direction indicated by the arrow.
- the movement of the conveyor belt 4 is controlled by a switch, not shown, which is located in the area of a pneumatic separating device 7 and detects the contact of the objects 1 with the separating device 7.
- the isolated items in the manner described 1 are in the space between two circulating trans port belts 10 and 11 and carried between them in the direction of the arrow.
- the speed of the conveyor belts 10 and 11 is greater than that of the perforated belt 8. As a result, the guided between the conveyor belts 10 and 11 are pulled away faster than the subsequent object supplied by the perforated belt. This creates a space between the individual objects that is sufficient to be able to identify them individually.
- the isolated and transported between the conveyor belts 10 and 11 objects are detected by a light barrier 12.
- a light barrier 12 When the front edge of an object is ascertained, this triggers one revolution of a stamp 13 following in the transport path of the objects.
- the stamp is exchangeably attached to a core-toothed stamp shaft.
- Another light barrier 14 serves for the respective positioning of the stamp 13 in the basic position between two stamp processes.
- the object 1 released by the conveyor belts 10 and 11 becomes the gap between the stamp 13 and one Back pressure roller 15 fed.
- the spring-loaded, driven counter-pressure roller ensures strong and even stamp impressions.
- the gap between the punch 13 and the counter-pressure roller 15 can be preset by an adjusting device 16. This is advantageous when stamping objects 1 of approximately the same thickness. In this way, permanent and sudden movements of the counter-pressure roller can be avoided.
- the counter-pressure roller 15 is further connected via a joint 17 to a movably mounted roller 18 which serves to guide the conveyor belt 10 and is arranged at the exit of the slot formed by the conveyor belts 10 and 11.
- a movably mounted roller 18 which serves to guide the conveyor belt 10 and is arranged at the exit of the slot formed by the conveyor belts 10 and 11.
- An inking unit 19 with a felt roller impregnated with stamp ink and a driven intermediate roller serves for the uniform inking of the stamp 13 with each revolution of the same.
- the objects 1 are taken over by a further conveyor belt 20 and conveyed to a storage table 21.
- This transport is also carried out with the aid of a guide plate 22 with a guide roller and a support roller 23 with a driving plate.
- the storage table 21 is constructed essentially in the same way as the feed table 2.
- the incoming objects are first separated from the conveyor belt 20 by a stop bracket with a scraper 24.
- the stacked objects are conveyed by a storage conveyor 25 in the direction of the arrow.
- a storage stacking plate 26 which can be displaced in the same way as the stacking plate 5 pressed against the stacked objects 1 by a counterweight so that they keep their vertical position. These can be manually removed from the storage table, the stacking plate 26 then being moved automatically to the left until it hits the newly placed objects.
- the contact of the front edges of the objects 1 with the stop bar 3 ensures that only the foremost object comes into contact with the perforated band 8 of the pneumatic separating device 7. Reliable separation is therefore possible. Because the objects are only moved horizontally from the separating device 7 to the conveyor belts 10 and 11, the suction force acting on the objects can be kept relatively low.
Abstract
In the case of a device for stamping flat objects (1) of different sizes and thicknesses, in particular mail items, these are arranged vertically on a feed table (2). The objects are removed individually from this and successively guided past a stamp (13) in order to then be transported to a storage table (21). The created and stored objects are on mutually parallel levels. The lay-on and lay-down tables are arranged one behind the other in a direction perpendicular to these planes. The objects are removed perpendicular to this direction from the feed table and also fed to the storage table. The objects are placed on the feed table with their front edge in the direction of transport during the occasional removal. Your transport path between the lay-on and the lay-out table runs horizontally.
Description
The invention relates to a device for stamping flat objects of different sizes and thicknesses, in particular postal items, which are arranged vertically or approximately vertically on a feed table, removed individually from the feed table, guided past a stamp in succession and transported to a storage table, the applied and deposited ones Objects are arranged one behind the other in planes parallel to one another and the feed and deposit table in the direction perpendicular to these planes, and the objects are removed perpendicular to this direction from the feed table and fed to the deposit table.
- The separating device must be effective over a considerable length in relation to the objects to be separated, since the front edges of the objects can have a position which differs considerably from one another. Errors can also occur during singulation, since the singling device can simultaneously detect and remove several objects. At least complex measures are necessary to prevent this disadvantageous effect. Finally, large forces must be applied when separating, since the counter strength must be increased. This force must be based on the maximum possible weight, although the weight of most objects is much lower.
It is therefore the object of the present invention to provide a device with which the separation is carried out more reliably and in which the separation device is simpler than in the known devices, in particular being reduced and also the force acting on the objects to be separated is less.
This force is achieved in the device mentioned at the beginning for stamping flat objects of different sizes and thicknesses according to the invention in that the objects can be placed on the feed table with their front edge in the direction of transport during the occasional removal and in that their transport path between the feed and the tray table is arranged horizontally.
,The invention is explained below with reference to an embodiment shown in the figure. This shows a device for stamping flat objects, in particular mail items of different sizes and thicknesses, in a top view. ,
The objects 1 to be stamped are stacked on a feed table 2. Here, the objects 1 are arranged vertically and rest with an edge on a
The
The isolated items in the manner described 1 are in the space between two circulating
The speed of the
The isolated and transported between the
The object 1 released by the
The
An inking unit 19 with a felt roller impregnated with stamp ink and a driven intermediate roller serves for the uniform inking of the
After passing the
The storage table 21 is constructed essentially in the same way as the feed table 2. The incoming objects are first separated from the
The contact of the front edges of the objects 1 with the
