Abstract

A switching device is provided for electrical switchgear, particularly contactors. The switching device includes a step-shaped, bowed current lead with a contact portion cooperating with a contact portion of a switch bridge. The switching device also includes a U-shaped arc chute and a fastening bolt. The arc chute surrounds the contact portion with an air gap so that the electrical connection is made solely via the fastening bolt. The edge portions of the arc chute are set back in the area of the contact portion so that the contact portion of the contact bridge cannot come in contact with the arc chute even though the contact bridge may be obliquely positioned.

Description

Bei einem bekannten Schaltstück der obengenannten Art (US-PS 3 211 867) ist an der Stirnseite der relativ stark ausgeführten Stromzuleitung das Lichtbogenleitblech angeschraubt. Zwischen dem Lichtbogenleitblech und der Stromzuleitung ist eine Isolierzwischenlage angeordnet, so daß Stromzuleitung und Lichtbogenleitblech wie ein U auf den Antrieb des Lichtbogens wirken. Da der Abstand der beiden U-Schenkel hier relativ gering ist, ist die Antriebswirkung für den Lichtbogen nicht besonders groß. Hinzu kommt, daß die Kontaktauflage praktisch in der gleichen Ebene mit dem gesamten Lichtbogenleitblech liegt, so daß eine besonders exakte Führung für das bewegliche Schaltstück erforderlich ist, damit die Kontaktauflage des beweglichen Schaltstückes nicht auf dem Lichtbogenleitblech zur Auflage kommt. Der gleiche Sachverhalt trifft für ein weiterhin bekanntes Schaltstück zu. Hier ist zusätzlich noch die Zuleitung selbst U-förmig ausgebildet, so daß das Schaltstück nur für Geräte mit geringer Stromtragfähigkeit Verwendung finden kann; denn die U-förmige Zuleitung bewirkt bei hohen Strömen ein Abheben der Schaltbrücke (DE-OS 28 03 249).In a known contact piece of the type mentioned above (US Pat. Der Erfindung liegt somit die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Schaltstück der obengenannten Art dahingehend zu verbessern, daß es einfach herzustellen, zu montieren und für den Betrieb mit Schaltstücken, die ohne besonders enge Toleranzen für die Führung des Schaltstückes herzustellen sind, geeignet sind. Dies wird auf einfache Weise dadurch erreicht, daß das Lichtbogenleitblech für sich U-Form hat und der U-Schenkel im Bereich der Kontaktauflage von der Kontaktstelle weg parallel versetzt ist und der andere U-Schenkel auf der der Kontaktstelle zugewandten Seite des freien Endes der treppenförmig abgesetzten Stromzuleitung von der Befestigungsschraube durchdrungen aufliegt. Die Einstellung des erforderlichen Luftspaltes zwischen Kontaktauflage und Stromzuleitung und dem Lichtbogenleitblech läßt sich auf einfache Weise erreichen, wenn am Lichtbogenleitblech der Stromzuleitung zugewandt Butzen angeformt sind. Wird am Befestigungsschenkel des Lichtbogenleitbleches ein offener Schlitz als Befestigungsbogen vorgesehen, so kann das Lichtbogenleitblech auf einfache Weise eingeschoben werden, nachdem die Befestigungsschraube durch das Befestigungsloch der Stromzuleitung eingeschoben wurde. Durch seitliches Zusammenpressen des Lichtbogenleitbleches werden die Butzen gegen die Stromzuleitung gepreßt, so daß Stromzuleitung und Lichtbogenleitblech samt Befestigungsschraube eine komplette Einheit bilden.The invention is therefore based on the object of improving a contact piece of the type mentioned above in such a way that it is simple to manufacture, assemble and are suitable for operation with contact pieces which can be produced without particularly close tolerances for guiding the contact piece. Das Schaltstück besteht aus der treppenförmig gebogenen Stromzuleitung 1 mit der Kontaktauflage 2, die mit der Kontaktauflage 3 der Schaltbrücke 4 zusammenarbeitet, sowie dem U-förmig abgebogenen Lichtbogenleitblech 5 und der Befestigungsschraube 6. Das Lichtbogenleitblech ist mit einer Ausbrechung 7 versehen, in die ein Teil der Stromzuleitung 1 hineinragt, und zwar ist zwischen Stromzuleitung 1 und den Randteilen 8 des Lichtbogenleitbleches um die Kontaktauflage 2 ein Luftspalt 9, so daß das Lichtbogenleitblech zunächst nur über die Befestigungsschraube 6 mit der Stromzuleitung 1 elektrisch leitend verbunden ist. Die treppenförmige Stromzuleitung 1 hat den Vorteil, daß die Stromtragfähigkeit der Kontaktanordnung durch eine U-förmige Zuleitung nicht nachteilig beeinflußt wird. Nach Obertritt des Lichtbogens 10 auf das Lichtbogenleitblech ist jedoch für den Lichtbogenlauf die U-förmige Ausbildung vorhanden, d.h. es ergibt sich hier eine schaltbare Stromschleife für den Lichtbogenlauf. Die den Luftspalt geringfügig überbrückenden Butzen 11 ändern an der Funktion praktisch nichts. Sie dienen jedoch zur Vormontage des Schaltstückes. Hierzu wird die Befestigungsschraube 6 in das Befestigungsloch in der Stromzuleitung 1 eingeschoben. Durch den offenen Schlitz 12 wird das Lichtbogenleitblech zwischen Befestigungsschraube und Stromzuleitung eingeschoben. Hernach werden die Butzen durch Andrücken der Randteile 8 in Richtung der Pfeile 13 gegen die Stromzuleitung 1 gedrückt, so daß sich die vormontierte Einheit ergibt. Wie die Zeichnung zeigt, liegt das freie Ende 14 des Lichtbogenleitbleches 5 etwa in der Ebene der Kontaktauflage 2. Der Teil 15 des Schenkels (17) ist parallel hierzu versetzt, und zwar von der Kontaktstelle wegweisend. Dies bedeutet, daß die Kontaktbrücke 4 auch mal schräg aufsetzen kann, ohne hierbei mit den Randteilen 8 des Lichtbogenleitbleches (5) in Berührung zu kommen. Die öffnung des U ist jedoch so groß, daß ein ausreichender Lichtbogenlauf gewährleistet ist, ohne daß die Stromtragfähigkeit des Schaltstückes nachteilig beeinflußt wird.
