Description

The invention relates to a weaving rotor for row shed looms with stop lamella combs for the weft threads.

In a known weaving rotor of this type (CH-PS 633 590), the stop and shed combs are mutually displaced by half a pitch. The individual warp threads are inserted in a controlled manner into the lanes formed by the slats of the shedding combs, also called tubes. Incorrect insertion leads to warp strips or binding errors. The greater the warp density, i.e. the number of warp threads / cm, but it is all the more difficult to ensure that the warp threads are correctly inserted.

The invention has for its object to provide a weaving rotor of the type defined in the introduction, which ensures error-free insertion of the warp threads. This object is achieved according to the invention by the features specified in the characterizing part of the claim.

An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is described below with reference to the drawing. The drawing shows schematically the top view of the development of a weaving rotor according to the invention.

A weaving rotor 1 is alternately equipped on its circumference 2 in a known manner with a number of stop combs 3 and an equal number of shed combs 4. For the sake of clarity, only a few slats 5 of each stop comb are shown and represented by a line. The pitch t of the slats is larger than in the known stop comb, so that the stop combs 3 contain fewer slats. The lamellae of the combs 4 are not shown. As can be seen in the drawing, the stop combs 3 are attached to one another in the axial direction of the weaving rotor on the circumference 2 of the weaving rotor 1 in such a way that the lamellae of the one stop comb are each centered in a gap between two lamellae of the next stop comb. Thus, a lamella 6 of a stop comb 7 is located in the direction of a gap 8 between two fins 9 and 10 of the next stop comb 11. The weaving rotor 1 is fastened on an axis 12 and is driven in the direction of arrow 13.

E an. When striking a registered weft thread 14, it is struck by the slats 15 of the leading stop comb 16. For example, its slats 17, 18 and 19 hit the weft 14 at points A, B and C in the cloth 20. The following weft 21 (shown in broken lines) is struck by the trailing stop comb 22 which is then located in front of this weft . For example, its slats 23 and 24 cast this weft in points D and E, respectively. Since the lamellae of the two stop combs 16 and 22 are offset from one another as described, the stop point D lies between the stop points A and B, the stop point E between the points B and C. Of course, the stop of the trailing comb 22 acts almost equally on the already weft thread 14 struck through as the stop of the leading comb 16. The result is that, seen over two successive stops, each weft thread is practically struck as if each stop comb were occupied with the full number of slats. Nevertheless, the greater division of the stop slats ensures that the warp threads are correctly inserted into the alleys of the specialist training combs.
