Abstract

Antidekubitus Luftmatratzen sind bekannt, doch haben sie den Nachteil, dass sie hartgepumpt werden müssen, da­ mit der Patientenkörper nicht auf die harte Unterlage durch­ drückt.
Die Erfindung bietet eine Patienten-Unterlage in Form einer Luftmatratze auf welcher der Patient, ähnlich wie auf Wasser, weich flottiert, ohne jedoch an irgendeiner Körper­ stelle auf die härtere Bettmatratze durchzudrücken. Diese Wirkung wird dadurch erreicht, dass die gesamte Patienten-­ Unterlage in querlaufende, voneinander unabhängige wei­ che Luftpolsterungen aufgeteilt wird. Dadurch hängt der Pa­ tientenkörper in einer Flotationslage. Die Auflagefläche wird dadurch starkvergrössert und der Auflagedruck stark verrin­ gert. Ferner werden akzentuierte Druckstellen vermieden, weil die polsternde Luft von besonders schweren und kno­ chigen Körperstellen verdrängt und nicht komprimiert wird. Die Erfindung erreicht diese Vorteile ohne Verwendung von Wechseldruckgeräten.
