Abstract

Kohle- oder Koksbriketts, die rauch- und rußfrei ver­ brennen und eine gute Verlade-, Wetterstands- und Feuer­ standsfestigkeit besitzen, werden dadurch hergestellt, daß dem feinkörnigen Brennstoff 1 bis 3 Gew.-% Melasse und 0,3 bis 2 Gew.-% eines vollverseiften Polyvinylalkohols ei­ ner Viskosität von 40 bis 100 mPas als Bindemittel, insbe­ sondere in wäßriger Lösung, zugesetzt werden und daß das homogenisierte Gemisch unter guter Entwrasung zu Bri­ ketts gepreßt wird.
