Abstract

A readily unravellable fabric can be produced from elastic yarns by knitting the yarns into a horizontal mesh structure.

Description

The invention relates to a detachable web of elastic threads, which can be separated into individual threads.

Flat, dissolvable warp-knitted webs made of elastic yarns are known, produced on a double bar (DE-AS 2 318 921 and DE-OS 3 129 350). These tapes are knit on the detour from the reel presentation to the warping of partial warp beams (TKB). This procedure is complex. The number of threads fixed by the TKB also limits the possible variations in the number of threads of the tapes. The vertical mesh structure of the knitted fabric does not always ensure that it can be separated into individual threads. This is because irregular thread tensions arise when cutting, which lead to malfunctions and defective goods during further processing.

The object of the invention was to produce a knitted fabric web which avoids the aforementioned disadvantages and in particular can be separated very easily and with largely uniform thread tensions.

The object was achieved in that elastic threads were knitted into a web.

The invention therefore relates to a detachable web of elastic threads, characterized in that the web is a knitted fabric with a horizontal stitch structure.

The production takes place on a circular, but preferably a flat knitting machine. When manufacturing on the flat knitting machine, it is essential that the elastic threads are drawn off the bobbin, provided with a defined pretension by a sintered ceramic thread brake and transported to the thread guide of the flat knitting machine. The elastic threads are preferably transported on a rolling basis.

Elastic threads in the sense of the invention are bare elastane threads or threads with elastane soul.

Vorzugsweise werden blanke Elasthan-Filamentgarne eingesetzt, deren Titer keiner Beschränkung unterliegen.Preferably bare elastane be - filament yarns used whose titers are not limited.

The titer of the single thread can be, for example, 10 to 2000 dtex, preferably 640 to 960 dtex.

The number of threads required to produce the knitted sheet is taken directly from the bobbin. The production of a TKB is not necessary.

The single thread or several threads, i.e. the folded threads are then formed into the material web in the known flat knitting technique, that is to say in a horizontal stitch structure. For example, 2 to 50 threads can be folded. Preferably 5 to 20 threads are plyed.

The horizontal stitch structure of the flat knitwear web has the following advantages:
  • 1. A perfect, safe separation of the knitted web into individual threads.
  • 2. The possibility to fold any number of individual threads.
  • 3. The ability to easily determine the width of the knitted fabric.
  • 4. The possibility of producing different widths of goods and a different number of threads per band side by side in one work step.
  • 5. The possibility of using different thread thicknesses within a band in a targeted manner and thus varying them, which results in additional pattern options.
  • 6. The possibility of processing different titers over more than one thread guide in such a way that a coherent band within the knitted web is formed in blocks (1 strip thinner, 1 strip thicker).
  • 7. The knitted band has a higher available thread length in a stitch row than is possible in a stitch row of a warp knitted fabric.

In principle, all known basic weaves and their variants that are possible in terms of knitting technology are possible on knitting machines with horizontally running stitch formation. Likewise, all machine divisions can be used depending on the thickness of the thread or the total thickness of the fanned threads.

The resolvable knitted goods according to the invention. Sheets of elastic threads are suitable as a template material for the production of textile fabrics into which elastic threads are incorporated. The time-consuming production and transport of TKB with elastic threads is no longer necessary.

However, the webs according to the invention can also remain unseparated and can be used in this form as a laundry band or in technical use as an elastic belt, elastic conveyor belt or elastic covering.

Beispielexample

10 Fäden eines Elasthan-Filamentgarnes vom Einzeltiter 160 dtex werden gefacht und auf einer Flachstrickmaschine mit der Maschinenteilung 3 1/2 E in der Bindung R/R zu einem Band der Bandbreite 21 Nadeln verstrickt.10 threads of an elastane filament yarn with a single denier of 160 dtex are folded and knitted on a flat knitting machine with machine division 3 1/2 E in the R / R weave to form a band with a width of 21 needles.

With a force of 1.5 to 1.7 cN, the tape could be easily and trouble-free dissolved into the individual threads.
