Aus dem Vorpreßling entsteht durch Heißpressen in der Heißpresse der fertige Profilkörper. Er wird in der Regel gleichzeitig auf seiner Ober- und Unterseite mit einer Deckschicht versehen. Es ist jedoch beobachtet worden, daß bei manchen Profilkörpern, insbesondere bei solchen Profilkörpern, bei denen die Unterseite und die Außenstirnfläche nahezu rechtwinklig aneinanderstoßen, die Unterseitenbeschichtung nahe dieser Kante Abrisse aufwies. Diese Erscheinung ist nicht nur ein Schönheitsfehler des Profilkörpers sondern auch ein technischer Fehler, weil die Hüllschicht den Profilkörper vollständig umhüllen und seine Witterungsbeständigkeit verbessern soll.The known device has proven itself very well in the production of pressed profile bodies of the most varied types provided with a decorative layer.
