Description

The invention relates to an adjustable venetian blind, the venetian blind elements of which can be pivoted about axes extending in their longitudinal direction from a closed position, in which they overlap one another, into a maximum open position and vice versa, by means of levers at angled articulation points spaced from their pivoting axes are articulated with a push rod that is only displaceable parallel to the level of the blind to form parallelogram linkages, the push rod being arranged next to one of the two narrow sides of the blind.

Venetian blinds of this type are known in numerous embodiments. From the closed position, in which the blind elements overlap each other, they migrate sideways with increasing distance from their pivot axes. In order to be able to guide the push rod intended for its actuation only parallel to the blind level, it is connected to the articulation points of the blind elements via levers. In the case of an adjustable venetian blind according to US Pat. No. 2,581,465, the levers form acute angles in the open position of the venetian blind elements with the actuating rod, which increase with increasing closing of the venetian blind elements until they are almost rectangular in the closed position. This means that the push rod can only be moved with little effort in the vicinity of the open position, in which the force applied to the push rod can be effectively converted into movement of the blind elements. In the vicinity of the closed position, however, this is only possible with reasonable force due to the already very large, acute angle if sufficient torque can be transmitted due to the distance between the blind joint and the guide track of the push rod. This requires a corresponding amount of space on the narrow side of the blind, which is unsuitable for this purpose.

In contrast, the invention is based on the task of achieving a precise adjustment of the blind elements even in confined spaces on the narrow side of the blind. The setting forces should be as low as possible in any position of the blind elements. On the other hand, it should also be possible to actuate very wide blind elements with an extension of 400 mm and more perpendicular to their pivot axes.

The invention solves this problem by the proposals characterized in the claims.

In this way, the push rod can first be arranged at a very small distance from the blind level. The particularly acute-angled levers allow force to be applied, which ensures that they can be easily adjusted almost independently of the opening position of the blind elements, i.e. also in the vicinity of the closing position. The Venetian blind elements can thus be precisely adjusted into their respective position even if they are very extensive, so that, for example, a completely closed wall surface with overlapping Venetian blind elements can also be formed. The ease of movement is of great importance. Since the push rod can be arranged in one of the two narrow sides of the blind, the space requirement is small.

The closed position of the blind elements is achieved in a particularly reliable manner in that they are produced in a double-walled manner from shells which are parallel to one another, the peripheral edges of which have mutually complementary steps which overlap in the closed position. In connection with a stop of the push rod acting in the closed position, this not only results in a flat wall surface but also in a closed wall, which form the blind elements in their closed position.

In order to achieve a uniform alignment of the blind elements even in the open position, it is sufficient to also provide a stop for the push rod in the latter, which enables the same to be fixed easily.

To further illustrate the invention, reference is made to the drawing relating to exemplary embodiments.

The new jalouse exists within a wall opening that is delimited by the opening edges 15 and 16. It is an opening provided in a vertical building wall.

Die mit 3 und 4 bezeichneten Winkel entsprechen der Schließlage bzw. der Maximalen Öffnungslage 10'.According to the exemplary embodiment, three blind elements 10 are provided, which are shown with excellent lines in their closed position. The middle of these blind elements is shown with dash-dotted lines in its maximum opening position 10 ', in which it occupies a horizontal position. Otherwise, the blind elements form the completely flat blind plane 7 in their closed position. They overlap each other with their edge steps 14 after they have been pivoted about their respective axes 13. The parallelogram linkage formed with the cooperation of the push rod 5 with its levers 2 serves this purpose. The push rod 5 is free of play in the guides 17 such that it can only move in the direction of the degree of freedom 8, which is illustrated by a double file. The levers 2 engage in bearings 6 located on the push rod 5. A parallelogram linkage is thus formed in each case from two successive bearings 6, with levers 2 proceeding therefrom and two corresponding, successive articulation points 1. The angle between the push rod 5 and the levers 2 is in each Position of the levers at an acute angle. The angles designated 3 and 4 correspond to the closed position or the maximum open position 10 '.

In the exemplary embodiment, the blind elements 10 of the blind 9 are designed with double shells, the gap between the outer and inner shells still being filled with a sound and heat insulating agent. The axes 13 are fastened in the narrow sides of the blind element 10 and held in bearings, not shown in the drawing, provided in a frame of the wall opening. The respective inner shell of a blind element is provided in the vicinity of its upper edge with a tab 11, which forms a bearing eye of the joint for the attack of a lever 2.

For reasons of clarity, only one reference symbol was used for the exemplary embodiment for recurring features. This applies in the same way to the other, matching parts of the new blind.

As has already been described, the vertical distance 12 between the blind plane 7 and the push rod 5 can be selected very closely. Since the push rod does not experience any lateral deflection, this dimension is kept exactly even in very confined spaces.
