Abstract
Um die Verlustleistung einer Bodenelektrode (7a, b, c, d)
auf Minimalwerte herabzusetzen, ist das Verhältnis von deren
mittlerem Querschnitt und Länge derart zu dimensionieren,
dass deren Erwärmung durch den Strom allein, bei Kühlung
auf deren Aussenseite, an deren Innenseite eine Temperatur
ergibt, die der Temperatur des Schmelzbades (13) entspricht.
Sowohl für einstückig ausgebildete Bodenelektroden (7a, b, c)
als auch für Zweistoff-Bodenelektroden (7d) wurden Faktoren
ermittelt, welche eine optimale Dimensionierung der
Bodenelektroden (7a, b, c, d), hinsichtlich minimaler Verlust
leistung, ermöglichen.
