- the plate 22 is here thicker than the others in order to allow the use of a time-setting rod and strap fasteners sufficiently rigid to withstand the normal stresses to which a watch may be subjected.

- the invention offers the possibility, not only, through the use of transparent plates, of making a watch in which all the parts are visible, but also, by playing on the color of the plates and the shape of their openings, create very particular aesthetic effects which give the whole an aspect close to that of a stained glass window.
- corundum plates makes it possible to produce a particularly remarkable watch.
- This material has a hardness which gives it a very high resistance to abrasion.
- the aesthetic result is such that it is self-sufficient and that consequently, the time display function can be omitted to leave only a set of mobiles integrated in a sort of stained glass.
