Eine abgewinkelte Kante ist mit einer in der Längsmittelebene verlaufenden Rinne versehen. Die Abdeckung ist in der Längsmittelebene mit einer Kerbe an einer Seite und mit einer Madenschraube an der entgegengesetzten Seite versehen. Die eine abgewinkelte Kante der Grundplatte greift in die Kerbe; in der Rinne gleitet die Madenschraube beim Anziehen. Das Überschieben der Abdeckung über die Grundplatte mit dem notwendigen Spiel bringt es mit sich, daß mit der Madenschraube mehrere volle Umdrehungen ausgeführt werden müssen, bis die Abdeckung anliegt; auch erfordert das endgültige Andrücken an die Wand ein wesentliches Drehmoment, welches auf die Madenschraube aufgebracht werden muß. Das Abbrechen eines Teils der Madenschraube und ein erheblicher Zeit- und Kostenaufwand für das Entfernen der alten und das Einsetzen der neuen Madenschraube sowie das Abrutschen des Schraubendrehers und Beschädigungen der in aller Regel hochglanzpolierten Armatur sind die damit verbundenen Gefahren. Hier will die Erfindung Abhilfe schaffen. Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen Wandhalter der eingangs genannten Art so auszubilden, daß es weniger als einer halben Drehung der schraubenbetätigten Vorrichtung bedarf, um die Abdeckung an der Grundplatte einerseits und auf der Wand aufliegend andererseits zu befestigen. Gemäß der Erfindung wird die Aufgabe dadurch gelöst, daß Bestandteil der Grundplatte eine hohlzylindrische von der Grundplatte abstehende Aufnahme ist, in die ein in der Abdeckung drehbar gelagerter, mit einem von außen an der Stirnseite der Abdeckung zugänglichen Querschlitz versehener Bolzen eingreift, der zumindest im Bereich der Aufnahme gegenüber seiner durch ein an der Stirnseite der Abdeckung befindliches Lager bestimmten Achse exzentrisch angeordnet ist. Bei der Erfindung wird die Abdeckung als Bestandteil der Armatur über die Grundplatte geschoben, bis ihr Rand an der Wand, an der die Grundplatte befestigt ist, anliegt. Bei dieser Bewegung gelangt der exzentrisch ausgebildete Teil des Bolzens in die Aufnahme oder aber die Stirnseiten des Bolzens in die Lager der Aufnahme. Es braucht dann der an seinem freien, von außen zugänglichen Ende nach Art eines Schraubenkopfes ausgebildete Bolzen lediglich soweit gedreht zu werden, bis die Aufnahme und der exzentrische Teil des Bolzens miteinander verspannt sind. Diese Drehbewegung ist kleiner als 180°; in der Regel kleiner als 90°. Da die Aufnahme und der Bolzen nur verspannt werden, eine Bewegung der Abdeckung entlang einer Kerbe mit abschließender Verspannung nicht mehr erfolgt, ist auch das aufzubringende Drehmoment kleiner.
