Description

Bandförmige Werstücke der vorgenannten Art sind bekannt (DE-U-7 925 710; DE-U-8 235 550). Sie liegen in der Form eines Streifens oder - wegen der möglichen grossen Zahl der Scharniere pro bandförmigem Werkstück bevorzugt- in der Form einer Rolle vor, bei der spiralförmig das Werkstück Lage an Lage aufgerollt ist. Die bandförmigen Werkstücke werden mittels eines Werkzeugs schrittweise einer Anschlagmaschine zugeführt, in der die Scharniere gleichzeitig abgeschnitten - vereinzelt - und mit dem einen Scharnierlappen an einen Deckel, mit dem anderen Scharnierlappen an ein Unterteil eines kastenförmigen Anschlagguts, z. B. eines Kastens, Etuis oder einer Schachtel aus Holz, Karton oder Kunststoff, befestigt werden. Die Scharnierlappen weisen zu diesem Zweck Eintreibspitzen auf. Durch die abgebogenen freien Kanten hat das einzelne Scharnier selbst die Form eines deckellosen kästchenförmigen Behälters, ist also besonders verwindungssteif, wie es beispielsweise für grössere Behälter, wie Koffer, Kästen oder dgl., vorteilhaft ist. Bei den bekannten bandförmigen Werkstücken sind die Eintreibspitzen an den freien Kanten der Scharnierlappen in den abgewinkelten Ebenen vorgesehen. Das engt die Ausgestaltung des einzelnen Scharniers und seine Verwendbarkeit bei dem Anschlaggut ein. Bei dem Werkstück nach DE-U-7 925 710 kommt hinzu, dass die materialeinheitliche Verbindung stirnseitig benachbarter Scharnierlappen eine weitere Beschränkung in der Anwendung darstellt; bei dem nach DE-U-8 235 550, dass die Verbindung über den durchgehenden Scharnierdraht an letzterem zwischen den Scharnieren Verformungen für die Abstandhalterung erfordert.Band-shaped workpieces of the aforementioned type are known (DE-U-7 925 710; DE-U-8 235 550). Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein bandförmiges Werkstück der eingangs genannten Art so auszubilden, dass die Eintreibspitzen innerhalb des Scharniers unabhängig von der Ausgestaltung der Scharnierlappen anzuordnen sind. Gemäss der Erfindung wird diese Aufgabe dadurch gelöst, dass die Scharniere über eine das Werkstück durchsetzende Spitzenbrücke miteinander verbunden sind, die die Eintreibspitzen abgewinkelt im Bereich des Scharniers aufweist.
