Abstract

1. A shoe comprising a terminating edge (9) of the shoe upper, which edge is convexly curved in plan view preferably on the front end of the shoe opening (5) at the back of the foot, consisting of material (1) of the shoe upper and a lining (13) therein, which comes to an end at a lower level than the terminating edge (9) of the shoe upper, and an elastic tape (27) is applied on a terminating strip (7) running at least partly around on the inner side of the shoe along the said terminating edge (9) of the shoe upper, which tape is attached to the terminating strip (7) by means of a seam (11), characterized in that the side parts (21 and 23) extending to the heel section, of the material (1) of the shoe upper or of the lining (13) are so formed in the developed, cut-out form that the cut edges (9) of the side parts (23) of the lining (13) in relation to the respective inner cut edges (17) of the side parts (21) of the material (1) of the shoe upper run respectively at an angle (alpha) of 5 degrees to 30 degrees towards each other, in that the seam is elastic and in that the elastic tape (27) in the pre-stressed condition is only attached to the inwardly folded terminal strip (7) running along the terminal edge (9) of the shoe upper.

Description

The invention relates to a shoe with a convexly curved upper end of the shaft, preferably at the front end of the shoe outlet opening in the back area according to the preamble of claim 1. Such a shoe is described in US-A-2185362.

In the shoes manufactured today, the problem often arises that the upper, which is mostly made of leather, especially at the upper edge of the shaft, is still relatively hard, so that when a new pair of shoes is run in, pressure points on the foot can very easily form or The edge of the shoe cuts into the foot.

This applies above all to all types of pumps or pump-like cuts with, for example, a convex curved end of the shaft in the area of the back of the foot, such as, for example, in ballerinas.

In order to counteract the risk of pressure point formation, various techniques have already become known, for example for processing the end edges of the shaft in such a way that the upper material is preferably softer and more flexible in the form of leather. One of these techniques is, for example, the previous sharpening of the upper material of the shoe, after which an end strip of the upper material is folded inward and glued and. is then hammered using a hammer device. But even with this method, the shaft end edge can only be made softer and more elastic within certain limits.

Shoes have therefore also become known today which are provided with an elastic band, for example a rubber band, along their upper edge of the shaft below an inwardly folded end strip of the upper material. This rubber band is preferably glued between the inwardly folded end strip and the outward facing upper material in the prestressed state. The inner lining extends to just below the upper edge of the shoe and is sewn there with a longitudinal seam. By using such an elastic band, the upper material of the shoe is gathered slightly and thus receives a certain degree of flexibility. Nevertheless, the degree of compliance in this embodiment is limited to narrow limits.

In addition, the overall aesthetic impression is not very appealing. This is mainly due to the fact that the elastic band and its freedom of movement are severely restricted by the gluing process of the elastic band. If, in addition, the lining reaching to just below the shaft exit edge in the end strip provided there is possibly sewn together with the elastic band by longitudinal seams, this leads to a further impairment of the elasticity. Furthermore, the chuck that extends to just below the shaft end edge continues to apply and thus also counteracts a soft shaft end edge. Finally, the elastic band, in particular at the convexly curved front outlet opening in the back of the foot, causes an unattractive and visually very noticeable gathering of the upper material of the shoe without the desired softness and elasticity being achievable on the upper edge of the upper.

In contrast, it is an object of the present invention to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art and to create a shoe with a shaft end edge with high elasticity and compliance, which is not only soft, but also an extremely fine, uniform and aesthetically very attractive gathering of the upper material in the area of the shaft end edge. The object is achieved according to the features specified in the characterizing part of claim 1. Advantageous refinements in terms of the task are specified in the subclaims.

It can be described as quite surprising that the features according to the invention make it possible to have a shoe with such high running-in comfort with such a soft upper edge with great elasticity. This is particularly important because recent studies have shown, among other things, that if the outlet openings are too hard and narrow, blood congestion can occur in the foot, which can lead to headaches even in the worst case. What is surprising with the invention is above all that the different cutting template with respect to the lateral legs of the upper material such as the lining enables such a fine, soft, elastic gathering, in particular in the front convexly curved cutout area of the shoe. As is known, the angular position of the opposite cut edges of the upper material, such as the lining of a shoe, depends on the height of the heel. The higher the heel, the more the inward-facing cut edges of the upper material and the lining have to be moved towards each other. According to the invention, the inward cut edges of the lining are cut differently from the upper leather material, in such a way that their inwardly facing cut edges deviate inward from the cut edges of the shoe upper material at an angle of 5 ° to 30 °. In addition, since the elastic band is attached to the end strip of the upper material folded inwards on the upper shaft end edge only via an elastic chain table, the high mobility of the elastic band is obtained, so that this corresponds to that in the case of Sewing the selected pretension allows a fine, light gathering of the upper material on the upper edge of the shaft.

According to claim 2, an embodiment is advantageous in which the elastic band is enclosed by the end strip. In an advantageous embodiment according to claim 3, only the outer material and the opposite, unglued and inwardly folded end strip with the elastic band sewn thereon are provided at the level of the elastic band. With this arrangement, on the one hand, no chain stitch for fastening the elastic band is visible on the outside of the shoe. In addition, the high elasticity of the elastic band is obtained by the unglued folding of the end strip.

In an advantageous development according to claim 4, it is further provided that the height of the folded end strip corresponds at least to the height of the elastic band, which height according to a development according to claim 5 is preferably more than 5 mm. This further supports the goal of a soft and elastic shaft end edge.

In a preferred embodiment according to claim 6 it is further provided that the folded end strip of the upper material is sewn along its inner cut edge to the lining, which in turn is glued to the inside of the shoe upper material. With this arrangement, the unglued, only folded end strip is firmly held on the lining sewn onto the inside of the shoe upper. Thus, the end strip is finally well attached to its cut edge without sacrificing the high elasticity and softness of the end edge itself.

In an advantageous development according to claim 7, the end strip of the upper material and the lining are sewn directly along their inner cut edges. This also ensures that the lining only begins below the end band and does not lead to stiffening and thickening of the upper end of the shaft.

  • Figur 1 eine perspektivische Ansicht eines erfindungsgemäßen Schuhes ;
  • Figur 2 eine Draufsicht auf die Schnittvorlage des Obermaterials und des Futters ;
  • Figur 3 eine auszugsweise vergrößerte Seiteninnenansicht des Schuhes ;
  • Figur 4 eine Schnittdarstellung längs der Linie IV-IV nach Figur 1.
Further advantages, details and features of the invention result from the exemplary embodiment shown in the drawings. The following show in detail:
  • Figure 1 is a perspective view of a shoe according to the invention;
  • Figure 2 is a plan view of the cut template of the upper and the lining;
  • Figure 3 is a partially enlarged side view of the inside of the shoe;
  • Figure 4 is a sectional view taken along the line IV-IV of Figure 1.

Wie aus Figur 1 ferner zu ersehen ist, schließt sich an den Abschlußstreifen 7 ein Futter 13 an, das bis zu einer Innensohle 15 herabreicht.FIG. 1 shows a shoe, specifically a pump in a perspective view obliquely from above, with an upper material 1, a high heel 3 and a front outlet opening 5 in the region of the back of the foot with an essentially convexly curved upper edge 9. As can already be seen from FIG , The upper material 1, which is preferably made of leather, has a completely or partially circumferential end strip 7 in the foot cutout area, which is folded inwards along the upper end edge 9 of the shaft. As can be seen from FIG. 1 in connection with this from the enlarged detailed representation according to FIG. 3, a zigzag or chain stitch 11 runs along the end strip 7, via which an elastic band located underneath is fastened, which will be discussed further. As can also be seen from FIG. 1, a lining 13 adjoins the end strip 7 and extends down to an insole 15.

Dieser Winkel zwischen den jeweiligen Schnittkanten kann vorzugsweise 8° bis 18° betragen.FIG. 2 is discussed below. in which the two cutting templates for the upper material 1 and the lining 13 are shown lying one on top of the other. The upper material 1 is shown lying on top of the lining 13. As can be seen on the one hand, the upper material 1 and the lining 13 in the region of the front outlet opening 5 have an identical and essentially congruent course of curvature of the cutting edge 17 of the upper material and the cutting edge 19 of the lining. The adjoining side regions 21 or 23 of the upper material or the lining with their essentially straight cutting edges 17 or 19, however, run in different angular positions. The absolute angular position is dependent on the height of the heel, with the increasing height of the heel the two side areas of both the upper material and the lining from their front outlet opening 5 to their rear area being more closely aligned. In the exemplary embodiment shown, it is essential that, regardless of the selected heel height, the inside cut edges 19 of the chuck 13 run at an angle range a of 5 ° -30 ° relative to the course of the inside cut edges 17 of the upper material 1. This angle between the respective cut edges can preferably be 8 ° to 18 °.

In terms of production technology, the outer material 1 with its outer surface and the lining 13 with its surface lying on the inside at the top in the finished state of the shoe are then sewn together directly along their cut edges 17 and 19 via a seam 25. Immediately next to this seam 25, the aforementioned elastic band 27 is sewn onto the upper material 1 by means of the chain stitch 11 in a preselectable prestress.

Then, on the side of the elastic band 27 opposite the seam 25, the lining 13 with the end strip 7 thus formed is knocked inwards and the lining 13 is glued to the inside of the upper material 1. The final arrangement is shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, from which it can be seen that the upper end strip 7 is turned inwards with the elastic band 27 fastened via the chain stitch 11. Over the seam 25 adjoins the end strip 7, the lining 13, which is glued to the inside of the upper material 1 as described. As can be seen from this, the chain stitch 11 is thus only visible on the inside of the shoe, the elasticity of the prestressed sewn elastic band 27 being fully retained, since in this upper region the end strip 7 is not glued to the outer extension of the upper material 1. The holding of the end strip 7 is ensured via the seam 25 and the lining 13 which is only connected and glued to it. A visually appealing appearance is also achieved in that the cut edges 17 and 19 of the upper material and the lining itself come to lie hidden by the seam 25.

In the greatly enlarged illustration shown in FIG. 4 and which does not correspond to the actual dimensions, 28 denotes the adhesive.

The high softness and elasticity is thus achieved along the shaft end edge 9 in that only the folded upper material with the elastic band 27 sewn onto the end strip 7 is provided in this region and below it. Since the lining 13 only joins below, a further thickening at the upper end area is avoided. An appropriately selected prestressing of the elastic band 27, which can also be selected differently in different partial areas, ensures optimal elasticity and uniform surface gathering of the leather along the shaft end 9.

The mentioned zigzag or chain stitch 11 makes any desired movement of the elastic band 27 and thus contributes to the high wearing comfort.

The desired elasticity and visually appealing gathering of the upper material 1, in particular in the area of the front convex outlet opening 5, is ultimately also ensured by the fact that the upper material 1 and the lining 13 in this area also directly along their cut edges 17 and 19 via the seam 25 with one another are sewn, but this seam 25 also lies in the area of the front outlet opening 5, at least offset by the height of the elastic band 27 in the shoe on the inside, ultimately the line 29, which is shown in FIG corresponds to a larger radius and consequently a greater length than the cut edge 17 of the upper material 1 of the upper edge 9 of the upper formed on the finished shoe, the dimensions of which correspond approximately to the solid line 31 in plan view in FIG. Corresponding to the shortening from the transition from line 29 to line 31, the upper material 1 is gathered in particular in the area of the front outlet opening 5, so that slight folds 33 - as shown in FIG. 1 - result.

It follows from this embodiment that the zigzag seam 11 is the simplest form of an elastic, stretchable seam. Such stretchable seams are known as chain seams or chain stitch seams. The so-called single-needle, two-needle, three- or four-needle double chain stitches or cover stitches are also possible. The so-called chain seams are also possible as an elastic and stretchable seam.

For the sake of completeness, it is also stated that the chain stitch 11 can also be sewn below the upper shaft end edge 9 on the upper material 1, but this is generally not desirable for aesthetic reasons - since the seam is then visible from the outside.
