  • the door mechanism can be arranged to be fitted to the inner or outer faces of the wall containing the doorway 11, or, in some instances, can be fitted actually within the thickness of the doorway.
  • the tension which is produced along the length of the closure member 12 by the springs 21 will normally be sufficient to prevent displacement of the closure member 12 by wind pressure, when the closure member 12 is in its closed position.

  • the closure member is wound back onto the roller the wind bar or wind bars are picked up by the bottom bar 14 and lie at the upper end of their guide channels when the door is in its open condition.
  • the supporting and driving arrangements may be modifid to suit different applications, for example,'the drive arrangement 23 and 28 could be provided at the opposite end of the roller 13 if desired. Furthermore, if desired the bearing 17 and the drive end could be positioned between the roller 13 and the gear wheels 23, 33 so that the gear wheels are on the "outside" of the spindle bearing 17. While the drive arrangement 23, 24, 25 is described above as a duplex arrangement it will be understood that if desired a simplex arrangement can be used.

Claims (7)

1. Rolltüre mit einem langgestreckten, flexiblen Verschlußglied (12), mit einer Hohlwalze (13), die im Betrieb an einem Umfangsrand eines Türeingangs angeordnet und um ihre Längsachse drehbar gelagert ist und an der ein Ende des Verschlußgliedes (12) befestigt ist, mit Mitteln (23-26) zum Verdrehen der Walze (13), so daß das Verschlußglied zum Öffnen der Türe auf die Walze aufgewickelt und zum Schließen der Türe von der Walze abgewickelt wird, mit in der Walze (13) verlaufenden Achsmitteln (16), die an einander gegenüberliegenden Enden über die Walze vorstehen, mit Torsionsfedermitteln (21), welche die Walze (13) und die Achsmittel (16) zum Zwecke der Drehung aneinander kuppeln, wobei sie jedoch eine begrenzte relative Drehung von Achsmitteln (16) und Walze (13) zulassen, und mit einer Antriebsverbindung zwischen den Achsmitteln (16) und dem freien Ende des Verschlußgliedes, wobei die Federmittel (21) in einer Richtung gespannt werden, in der sich die Walze (13) relativ zu den Achsmitteln (16) dreht, um das Verschlußglied (12) auf die Walze aufzuwickeln und hierdurch das Verschlußglied unter Spannung zu setzen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Mittel (23-26) zum Verdrehen der Walze (13) einen Mechanismus umfassen, der die Walze (13) direkt antreibt, so daß die Achsmittel von der Walze (13) über die Federmittel (21) angetrieben werden, daß die Antriebsverbindung erste und zweite, endlose, undehnbare Antriebsglieder (34) umfaßt, die sich parallel zur Bewegungsrichtung des Verschlußgliedes (12) an dessen einander gegenüberliegenden Rändern erstrekken und in antriebsmäßigem Eingriff mit den Achsmitteln (16) bzw. mit unabhängigen Leerlaufrädern (35) sind, die ihrerseits im Betrieb an den Enden des Türeingangs angeordnet sind, der dem mit der Walze versehenen Ende des Türeingangs gegenüberliegt, und daß Mittel (14) vorgesehen sind zur Verankerung des freien Endes des Verschlußgliedes (12) an den endlosen Antriebsgliedern (34) an Punkten entlang der Längserstreckung der Antriebsglieder, so daß die Spannung von den Federmitteln (21) an das Verschlußglied zwischen der Walze und dem Verankerungspunkt des Verschlußgliedes an den endlosen Antriebsgliedern angelegt wird, wodurch die Walze und die Achsmittel zwangsweise veranlaßt sind, sich in entsprechenden entgegengesetzten Richtungen zu verdrehen.
2. Rolltüre nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Achsmittel (16) durch die Walze (13) hindurch verlaufen.
3. Rolltüre nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß jedes Antriebsglied (34) eine Rollenkette ist, die antriebsmäßig mittels eines entsprechenden Kettenzahnrades (33), das an den Achsmitteln (16) befestigt ist, in Eingriff mit den Achsmitteln (16) ist.
4. Rolltüre nach einem der voranstehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Torsionsfedermittel (21) innerhalb der Hohlwalze (13) angeordnet sind.
5. Rolltüre nach einem der voranstehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Torsionsfedermittel ein Paar von Schrauben-Torsionsfedern (21) umfassen, welche die Achse (16) umgeben, wobei die beiden Federn an einander gegenüberliegenden Enden der Walze (13) angeordnet sind.
6. Rolltüre nach einem der voranstehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das freie Ende des Verschlußgliedes (12) eine relativ starre Stange (14) trägt, die mit jedem Antriebsglied (34) verankert ist.
7. Rolltüre nach einem der voranstehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Mittel zum Verdrehen der Walze (13) einen Elektromotor (26) einschließen.
